This is the part where I go through every category.
Innovation... well, you have a somewhat clever boss fight, which automatically gets you an extra star from the base 2 stars of doing a platformer. It would be nice if you could use the treasure to kill enemies but oh well.
Fun... it helps that this game is short. The (somewhat thin but likable) plot keeps this game intact.
Theme... par for the course.
Graphics... nice job. Stuff's animated, and I'm not trying to rip my eyes out.
Audio... I must say, it definitely works, and the music's actually alright. The noise in level 2 could gradually get louder (it tends to drown stuff out), but other than that, just about everything makes noise. It could be good having the ghosts booing / bats flapping, but those sounds are a bit risky (they could sound quite annoying).
Humour... not much but there's a humourous ring in the plot. It's not bad, too.
Overall, there are a few rough edges (protip: try not to make the player start at level 1), but there's a game, it's got a nice thin plot, and it actually looks and sounds good.
Community... well, you've given us quite a few details of your progress. That's good. I suggest giving out alphas/betas if possible, they can help.

It feels like the camera follows your character a bit too closely. Nice graphics though. I didn't quite understand the ending (is the bell a treasure too?).

Really good art but the game design and coding seemed to be lacking. Ran in to a number of issues.

Having to restart from the very beginning is annoying. Graphic and music wise the game was good.

Thanks for all the comments, especially GreaseMonkey :D. In like 5 LDs I never had anyone commenting this much on one of my entries
I made the player only have a single life because the game was very easy on its own with only 3 levels. I should have made alot more, but there was no time left unfortunately :(
and yes, I decided to make the bell a treasure too^^. So the player stelas all the treasure AND steals the bell in the end as well :D

Basic idea is good, but theres a few issues with the design:
Amount of health was a bit hard to see, would be better if the graphic was clearer
There were a number of times when I was killed by spikes I couldn't see until it was too late (ie. they were below me and I had to go down) - this got a bit annoying.
Checkpoints. Have them. Let me restart at level 2 if i get to level 2...
The collision hitboxes to detect hits were too big.

Nice entry, fun game for a while but restarting from level one each time is a drag eventually. Needed check points. I like the audio
There are several gameplay issues, mostly collision-related, but also with trying to avoid certain monsters, so that was frustrating. The end boss fight is pretty neat! Couldn't finish it, since the ghost seems to take the full square of his area and that always gets me.
Aside from that, the game is fairly fun. It reminds me a lot of Spelunky.

As guys before me said - the checkpoints would help. Spikes I have no chance to see on the first play are bit annoying. Otherwise quite good one - it's polished, nice art, acceptable music.

The controls make it unnecessarily difficult.

Solid platformer. The controls are too responsive at times. I like the art, but the background tiles shouldn't be the same as foreground only shaded, although parallax helps greatly. I like the no insta-death aspect, but often I have no idea where I am falling and it become trial-error. Checkpoints needed. Audio is solid.

I didn't make it past the first level. Reloading the game (with a refresh) seemed to take a very long time, and nothing seemed to happen when I reached the end (since I had lost the gold skull), so I just gave up.
I wasn't quite sure I understood the purpose of forcing the player to carry the gold skull around, as in my experience it didn't seem to add very much.
I also thought that the character ran a bit too fast, and that placing spikes off-screen was a bad level design decision.
Top marks for graphics and audio, though!

Cool graphics and music (although I didn't like the same song being played even when you die, it feels empty). Besides that, I didn't enjoy to restart from the very very beginning ("intro scene"). However, the game seems to be fairly good executed (despite some little problems) and it has a unique feeling to it.
I think there are a lot of cool ideas here that deserve to be explored more- maybe give the treasure a bigger role (make it hurt enemies other than the boss, maybe make the enemies chase it, etc). Good start though!
Nice touch with the drag-the-mask-mechanic, but the physics were a bit dodgy. Also, nice graphics!
