| Apr 9 05:45:15 | Criminal deep dreams | ♥ 1 | Cool atmosphere, even without audio. Sadly in the deepest dream the slide down behind the car killed me and I was saddened by the fact I had to begin from the first level again. Would be nice to be able to at least start from that level again. In general some jumps felt a little bit too hard, so you had to exactly jump at the end of the ledge, some coyote time would've helped here. But in general a nice entry, the letters are really somewhat disturbing. | |
| Apr 9 06:05:18 | 20m 03s | Scares on Schedule | ♥ 1 | Wow, really great, I love the visuals and the audio, everything really fits together and the entry feels pretty polished! I had a hard time to relate some audio cues to their meaning, there is one sound that sounded like a "success", but did play pretty regularly even if I didn't do anything, this confused me a bit. In general I found the game waaay too hard, it would've helped a lot if the minigames were easier (at least in the beginning). It took me some time to fully grasp how all the minigames work, but even when it clicked they were just too hard. I think the hint for "<- drag ->" could stay where it is instead of fading it out, at least until the player drags around the map a little bit, because I didn't see this the first 2 rounds I played. Even though this sounds like a lot of critique, this was a really great entry and I only found these points because it was really fun! My best score were 6 scares. **EDIT**: I just read the comments after I wrote my own, and I fully agree with the detailed feedbacks of @koolruz @tobius 👍 |
| Apr 9 06:19:13 | 13m 55s | Heavy Anhinga | ♥ 1 | Simply love the visuals of the game, after I finished the tutorial and started the snack break, I already thought "Oh, nice entry." but then the game really just started, but sadly I didn't manage to climb very high - maybe I'm coming back later. Really polished nice entry. ????! |
| Apr 9 15:12:18 | 8h 53m | Dig in, Gus! | ♥ 2 | I heard something about another mole game, so of course I had to look! (And with that: why under earth are there no mole emojis?) I really liked the relaxed gameplay, I think the music complemented well to this. The different movement mechanics are great and give you a lot of freedom. Was fun to clear the map and the sounds for shattering and collecting the ore are very satisfying. The graphics are great as well of course, a really likeable mole! |
| Apr 9 15:34:16 | 21m 58s | Inbetween the Depths | ♥ 1 | Nice game, the harpoon felt pretty useless to me, so I just stuck to the ocean floor and bubbled around. After all I needed to be there anyway to collect the coins, so no use in floating at the surface. As there was no real penalty for drowning, I just stayed there until I died and could upgrade my stuff. Felt hilarious with all the upgrades on max level, especially after I found out that the map loops around. 😄 |
| Apr 9 21:48:28 | 6h 14m | Steel Coffin | ♥ 1 | Really great game, I think this is a solid base for a more fleshed-out game - impressive that you built all these system over the course of the jam. At first I felt a little bit overwhelmed by the tutorial, but in the end the gameplay loop was pretty straight-forward. Of course it became repetitive after some time, where one could add some random events or similar. Moving around the crew was a little tedious sometimes, because it just moved them to another room than I selected and sometimes didn't move at all, because you apparently had to hit the correct spots inside the rooms which were hard to find. |
| Apr 9 22:10:29 | 22m 01s | You Know the Drill! | ♥ 1 | Simple gameplay loop, but really addicting - I was quite happy that you can't buy all the upgrades that the bars suggest, but only like half of it, else I'd probably still be mining. I loved that you could build your own highway to get up and down faster. Really polished entry! |
| Apr 10 06:18:28 | 8h 07m | A Strike In The Dark | ♥ 4 | I feel that I am Flint King now and got to the smokin' hot food in the depths! Simple mechanic, but well implemented and polished. I loved that you had to hit the ground to see something, was a really nice idea. In general your play with light was ingenious! Was there any way to get rid of enemies besides the small guys with the jump pad on the head? I had the feeling that the last (?) ground enemies had a small fuse on their head and I hoped that you could kindle that with the sparks you make to get rid of them, but either I was too bad to get it right or I just fantasised. 😄 |
| Apr 10 21:28:39 | 15h 10m | Mine For It All | ♥ 1 | It's so simple, but still feels more addicting than it should 😄 |
| Apr 11 16:15:42 | 18h 47m | RepliCore | ♥ 3 | Nice idea for a puzzle platformer, really liked the levels that gradually got harder, would've wished for more levels. The movement and also jumping on the head of the clones felt a little bit floaty |
| Apr 11 20:06:44 | 3h 51m | Ruby Hole | ♥ 1 | Wow, this was a really intriguing game with a great mechanic, felt inspired by the board game Carcassonne. I liked the small story that was revealed bit by bit, the art is awesome! The only thing that wasn't fitting in this game was the music, but nice that you could turn that off. Also good take on the theme. |
| Apr 11 20:46:47 | 40m 03s | Roots | ♥ 1 | Very relaxing game, the audio adds much to that - except for the sound when you reach the core, I had to instamute it, because it was extremely loud in comparison to the otherwise very chill music and sound effects. 😄 Personally, I don't like these CRT-shaders, so I'd be happy if there was an option to turn that off. |
| Apr 11 21:55:11 | 1h 08m | Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest | ♥ 4 | Simply awesome game, what should I say? Feels like you had a really great idea for the Cartography idea and you just stuck to it, but absolutely worth it! The art is superb, the sound design is great and the gameplay is also really good. I love that you have to find your own treasures based on your map before submitting to validate that your map is really working. |
| Apr 12 07:02:46 | 9h 07m | Break The Tower | ♥ 0 | You had me intrigued as soon as the block below the paddle showed cracks. After breaking that, I wanted to find out if there is a top in the tower, but didn't make it there if there is one (even after the other secrets). I think it would've been nice if you added some sort of achievements in the game and showed how many there are after you broke the block in the first tower, so that the player knows that there is more to the game. I honestly only left the first tower by coincidence and nearly closed the game without seeing the world, because I didn't expect that there are secrets. I agree to other comments here that the beginning of the game felt quite hard, the paddle movement was just too slow and floaty and nearly made me quit the game even with the upgrades in sight (which at the start didn't make the paddle viable as well), but I am glad that I stayed. |
| Apr 12 09:58:48 | 2h 56m | Dyamid | ♥ 1 | Great puzzle design! Even though it's the core mechanic, I had several moments where I forgot that I can walk out of the screen and was amazed every time when I did. 😅 There was one place where I struggled because I didn't realise that you have quite a generous coyote time and thus, after trying once, didn't consider a long jump to be possible. But aside from that I didn't have any moments where the puzzle were too hard as that I got frustrated. Just amazing game! |
| Apr 13 07:17:38 | 21h 18m | Into The Abyss | ♥ 3 | Cool game, and I like that you have the most important gameplay option available. 😄 I'd be interested how the game looks if the inner corner tile sprites are fixed or was that an intentional stylistic choice? Screenshot 2025-04-13 091542.png |
| Apr 13 07:29:16 | 11m 38s | Sunken Secrets | ♥ 2 | Oh wow, you don't want to know how often I search the ocean ground for the last package, ever wondering if the safe actually is just the last package and questioning myself how I can collect it, until I realised that you can shoot. 🤦 Nice relaxed game, the beeping sound was a little bit annoying though Screenshot 2025-04-13 092614.png |
| Apr 13 20:26:08 | 12h 56m | Big Pig & Dig Gig | ♥ 1 | Brother! As the tall skinny gods weren't able to provide enough oats, I set out into the mines to find the promised oatium, so that we can all feast like our tall skinny gods want us to. Long was my way, but I did not perish! After working through countless stone using this stick with it's pointy head, I finally found it - the glorious oatium! Now let us dine, brother! Screenshot 2025-04-13 221643.png Really love the artstyle of the game, awesome pigs! Loved how the elevator would fling you up into the air after driving to the surface. Gameplay felt solid with some rough edges, especially looking at the movement and controls. The dialogues were nice and fun to read. |
