I really enjoyed your art and sounds, they're very engaging! I'm surprised we have a very similar game loop, but your take on cards for upgrades is much prettier. I had a very difficult time controlling the root with my cursor, it always felt too slow to move anywhere or too fast to get to where I wanted to go. Also just a note, once I reached the lava, the screen went fully white and crashed (I was playing your itch html version).
Wonderful, really well done. The leveling, music, and challenge are all perfect for a jam. I like the CRT effect too, very cozy.

The sounds and music are so nice and calming - the download wouldn't work for me on hered (the ld page) but on itch it worked! Cool game, nice job!

Intersting game! I used to think the tree would kill itself when the root touched itself😂

This is such a good game! I love the aesthetic and the gameplay is intuitive. It's clear to me that a lot of care was put into it.

The game is really nice and quite polished with different aspects to it. Music and sounds fit the idea well. I love camera tv post effect, or whatever gives it such feeling. Progression is nice and engaging, it's nice that previous root tracks are shown. Art nicely combines everything. There is calmness and there is a challenge. Very nice game!

This is amazing! I love incremental games like this! Though it ended too soon, i didn't even get all the upgrades!
Really unique and fun idea. The execution was great as well. I had much fun playing it. The controls felt good and the art, sound effects and music really created a good atmosphere. Great job all of you!

Excellent use of the theme. This evokes the feeling of those infinite-runner/incremental Flash games that used to be everywhere; I feel like I could play it for hours.
Very relaxing game, the audio adds much to that - except for the sound when you reach the core, I had to instamute it, because it was extremely loud in comparison to the otherwise very chill music and sound effects. Personally, I don't like these CRT-shaders, so I'd be happy if there was an option to turn that off.
Wow! Our team had a similar idea, but a little more about exploring and finding objects. It's a very cool combination of bagel mechanics and the idea of seed growth. The controls feel a little out of control at first, but with upgrades this feeling disappears!

very polished for a ludum dare game, it was fun, and i can't think of any major flaws. Well done.

This is a really cool idea. I would like to see a post-jam version of this with some more variety in gameplay! Good job, keep it up!
