| Oct 11 06:03:01 | LiGHTHOLDER | ♥ 2 | This game was very fun to play. It instantly reminded me of Dome Keeper. The difficulty/balance was designed very well. I really liked the upgrades and the surrounding system. Each upgrade felt meaningful and I instantly had an idea which upgrade I want to follow next. Overall the game feels really polished. | Oct 11 06:36:27 | 33m 26s | Intermodal | ♥ 1 | Very much enjoyed the game. Got really stressful at some points. The music and the sounds worked in perfect harmony together. Sometimes I had the feeling, that the music was playing in the same rhythm as the honking trucks and was accompanied by them - but maybe I just got a little bit lost in the game there. The simplistic graphic style plays really well with the game. In the end I got drowned by blue requests. Looking at the last ship, it saddens me a lot, because I see a lot of blue containers there. | Oct 13 07:33:10 | 48h 56m | Roots, for LD 54 | ♥ 2 | It was hard for me to notice if a plant is fully grown or not. I also think that it would've cool if you could undo some actions. Another nice addition would've been to change the water and nutrients in the ground each day or after some days, because if you found a perfect spot for a plant, you simply repeated your actions until the season ends. Nice game & good job nonetheless! |
| Oct 13 07:49:53 | 16m 43s | Dogtor Jones and the Holy Bone | ♥ 2 | Really nice idea and execution. I liked that you had to choose if you go for more treasures or for the safety - of course I mostly chose the treasures and died a lot. 😄 My tactic was to go to the middle of the room each time - because of that it made me a little bit restless that there was no real middle, because there is an even number of tiles. 😅 Also nice that you could just continue even if you lost all your lifes |
| Oct 13 08:17:03 | 27m 10s | Just another random TD | ♥ 2 | Only skimmed over the comments here, but I agree that being able to skip the countdown to the next wave would be very nice - Especially in the end where you only watch. Also being able to speed-up the waves would be cool. I think being able to bulldoze or upgrade towers would go against the spirit of the theme. 😄 (But I also would've liked that. 😬) Very nice little TD game. My layout and score (love that you have a function for the screenshot directly implemented): LD_54_-_Just_another_random_TD_screenshot_2023-10-13_10-16-38.png |
| Oct 13 08:37:20 | 20m 17s | Sheep Birder | ♥ 2 | Okay, stopped at level 12, because it became a bit repetitive. 😄 I liked the game, it felt like the idea behind it was: "Ah, I want to do something with flocking and steering behaviours - what can we do?" - and it came out pretty well. It was really hard to interpret which upgrades do what, so I just randomly chose stuff. Also the currency seemed to be off, prices were like in the hundreds, but you only had a few points and somehow 140 are 2-3 points or something like that. 🤔 It broke my heart that you only could save 6 sheep in each level. 💔 |
| Oct 13 08:45:44 | 8m 24s | Travelling Trader | ♥ 1 | I donated everything I could. I don't know why, but I hope I helped those people. I think the resting mechanic could've been improved by giving you more energy when you have a specific item or when you are not completely out of energy or something like that. The way it was, I just: rest one day - travel one day - repeat. The art is very nice Screenshot 2023-10-13 103943.png |
| Oct 13 08:56:42 | 10m 58s | Captain Jove’s Treasure Trove | ♥ 2 | Nice game, really loved the art and the music (especially that metal track! 🎸). I didn't get what those cans were for and at one point I had -1 cannon balls, but I could buy one to get back to zero (making cannon ball debts, luckily there was no interest on them). The enemy ships really were cannon boll sponges - sometimes I had to hit them like 5 or 6 times - that felt like a lot especially regarding the limited inventory space. |
| Oct 13 09:10:44 | 14m 02s | Mr. Bubbles | ♥ 5 | Love the art, the music and the general ambient of this game. The blurriness at the side of the screen was a little bit distracting, especially in the hub when trying to read the demands of people. The controls on foot felt a little bit off when turning - it felt like you interpolate the direction you walk in and that's why you turn pretty slowly or something like that. I was sad, that the narration was overridden by the texts for the items you picked up - I think I missed a lot of the story behind Mr. Bubbles by this. Besides these points, great entry! |
| Oct 13 09:18:06 | 7m 22s | The Crypt | ♥ 4 | Phew, really hard game in a really limited space. Those sound effects are just great! 😄 Good job! My best try: Screenshot 2023-10-13 111619.png |
| Oct 13 09:26:26 | 8m 20s | Sci-Fi Stratagem | ♥ 2 | Really challenging game, my personal best was around 1:10. I think it was really readable, probably it would've been easier for me with a controller (if that's supported) instead of keyboard. The biggest problems for me were the bullets and not running into the (stationary-not-moving-so-totally-shouldnt-be-a-problem) lava. |
| Oct 13 19:58:04 | 10h 31m | Troubled Turtles | ♥ 2 | Levels 14 and 17 really got me hanging a long time. I am glad I checked back here to find the "Disable CRT"-key during level 14 - made my eyes strain. Really loved the overall idea of your puzzle mechanic. I agree with some other people here, that it was annoying that inputs were ignored during animation. All in all really great puzzle game! Screenshot 2023-10-13 215428.png |
| Oct 15 12:17:07 | 40h 19m | FROUST! | ♥ 2 | Saw that list of highscores on the main page, had to try it. 😬 Screenshot 2023-10-15 141607.png Very fun game! |
