Oct 8 00:12:08 BotBot's Tiny Turbo Race ♥ 0 > [Played the game for a total of 20 minutes] It took some effort to install the game. And wow, nearly 3 GB? Seriously? I wonder what makes the game so heavy. When I first launched the game, my initial reaction was, *“Oh God! My eyes!”* — and not in the best way. Sure, the visuals are very vivid and colorful, but on my computer, they appeared extremely grainy. Also, it seems like this game has high system requirements! My fairly powerful PC had to work hard for me to enjoy the game. The first 5 minutes were spent getting used to the controls. After that, I managed to drive 2 km at high speed without much trouble, but I quickly got bored. I set a personal goal to reach 5 km, which was quite difficult since the robot frequently spun out of control. I couldn't quite adapt to the resizing mechanic. Once I hit 5 km, I was really bored and decided to close the game. The music is nice and not too annoying. However, the bright visuals made my eyes hurt after a while.
Oct 8 00:30:49 18m 41s Tiny Tale ♥ 4 It took me about 10 minutes to finish the game, which is a comfortable playtime for me. The game left a very positive impression on me! The hand-drawn graphics are pleasant, and the music really sets the mood. I'm not very good at English, but it seems like your game makes learning it quite convenient! There's humor in the game, although it might not perfectly match the overall atmosphere. Still, it made me smile a couple of times :) **Thanks to the entire development team; you've made a wonderful game! Good luck, and may the best one win!**
Oct 8 00:41:15 10m 26s Frog's Bedtime Story ♥ 2 Guys! You have beautiful screenshots in the description, but I can't play your game — it's broken. All I could do was get to this location. It seems like you didn't have enough time to finish the game :( https://static.ldjam.com/raw/fbf/06/z/67a28.png
Oct 8 00:53:42 12m 27s Fuzzies Don't Know What to Do! ♥ 2 Definitely giving a 5 for "Innovation"! **Upd:** It's 4 AM right now, and my brain isn't working well. But I've bookmarked the game because I really want to finish it. Great job, guys!
Oct 8 01:04:37 10m 55s Fear Unbound ♥ 0 The artwork is beautiful. However, I couldn't properly play the game — after finishing the maze, nothing happened. I guess I'll never find out how the story continues :(
Oct 8 01:09:44 5m 07s Night of Yurei ♥ 2 This is unplayable. The game lags heavily on my powerful computer.
Oct 8 01:39:39 29m 55s Hive Havoc ♥ 1 I planned to play for just 5 minutes, but ended up sticking around for 20. Dude, your game is awesome! And the fact that it's on a custom engine in C++ — that's truly impressive!
Oct 8 11:26:53 9h 47m Wet Worm Works ♥ 1 I’m not sure if this can be called a full-fledged game, but as an ecosystem simulator, it’s a good project.
Oct 8 11:37:34 10m 41s Tiny Spore ♥ 1 @dimasoff It seems to me that it’s not just similar, it’s an outright clone.
Oct 8 11:48:12 10m 38s juki advanture ♥ 1 This is unplayable. It's unclear what are traps and what aren't. The player's speed is uncomfortable. I didn't like it.
Oct 8 12:09:35 21m 23s Worm Eats Apples ♥ 1 I was lucky to have a friend nearby to play this game with. At first, we didn’t like it: the worms are too slow, the map is small, and the gameplay is quite basic. But after playing for 5 minutes, we gradually started to uncover the game's potential. I managed to trap my friend's worm, so he couldn't reach the apple :) I’m not sure if it’s a bug or a feature, but at some point, a part of the body just fell off and stayed on the ground, not attached to any worm. Fun game! A tip for the future: make the worms different colors to avoid confusion. Add some music. And don’t abandon the game — it has great potential! https://static.ldjam.com/raw/fbf/06/z/67df7.png https://static.ldjam.com/raw/fbf/06/z/67df8.png
Oct 8 12:42:14 32m 39s Living ♥ 0 Great reference to *Hollow Knight* and stunning pixel art at the end, but otherwise, it's hard to call this a game.
Oct 8 13:27:35 45m 21s Rummaging Raccoon ♥ 3 The game really lacks an in-game explanation of the controls. It unfolds very slowly, the controls aren't intuitive, and the font is too small. But overall, it's a good game, with pleasant graphics and music. Most importantly, the core message — promoting the green movement — is excellent. My respect!
Oct 8 14:14:42 47m 07s Mouse House ♥ 1 The best game I've come across in the last 24 hours! Fun animations, engaging gameplay, and pleasant music and graphics. 10/10 🔥 🔥 🔥
Oct 8 14:25:09 10m 27s Chanterune ♥ 5 This is one of the best games I’ve played on this site! The unique mechanics, which I’ve never seen before, and the well-thought-out level design deserve praise. 👏 However, I think the boss fight feels a bit out of place. The fight itself is fine, but the human boss doesn't quite fit the game's style, even though it's well-designed. Please keep going; I'm sure the game has great potential! 🔥
Oct 8 14:54:09 29m 00s DR.SPIDER ♥ 2 A little spider broke my computer, so I went to bed. And that’s how it goes every day. 😆
Oct 9 10:50:35 19h 56m An Itsy Bitsy RPG ♥ 1 One of the few games that has no flaws. The mechanics are original, I haven’t seen anything like it before. I had a lot of fun playing it and got hooked for a full 20 minutes. 😆 Keep up the great work! Wishing you success!
Oct 9 10:57:46 7m 11s Endless dream ♥ 1 **English:** Guys, I couldn’t play your game properly. After all, Figma is not a game engine; you should consider transferring your work to something like Ren'Py, and it would be great if it could be playable directly in the browser. But as far as I can tell, you have some beautiful artwork. Don’t give up on your creativity, and I wish you success in all your endeavors!
Oct 9 11:03:58 6m 12s Maze Bat ♥ 2 For a game made solo, this is a very decent result. I like your ASCII style. Respect from me!
Oct 9 14:18:03 3h 14m Apparatus ♥ 3 😎 😎 😎 https://static.ldjam.com/raw/fbf/06/z/68495.jpg
Oct 9 18:44:07 4h 26m Micro Wars ♥ 1 @cliva Haha, it looks like I'm not the only one who found myself in a similar situation :)
Oct 13 11:54:22 89h 10m Leafkin Quest ♥ 1 Dude, it amazes me how you can do something like that on GameMaker alone 🤯 . Your game impressed me, I spent 30 minutes of my life on it and I don't regret it. **Strengths of your game:** - Graphics - everything is done in a uniform style, and the style itself is pleasing to the eye. Gorgeous!!! - Variety of enemies and levels - yes, there aren't many types of enemies, but they don't get boring so quickly. - And the levels seem to be procedurally generated, which is very good! - Variety of mechanics - if you figure out how to combine them properly, you can become a skilful dude in this game 😎 - Sound effects - feel like an integral part of the game **Not the strongest points:** - Lack of music - it is woefully lacking - Lack of a store - you have coins, but nowhere to spend them. I'm sure that all the shortcomings are only due to lack of time, after all, this is Ludum Dare! A lot of work has been done, I want you not to abandon your game, it has great potential!
