| May 1 07:24:50 | The Delivery | ♥ 2 | That was quite impressive. The scenes were basic but functional, and they conveyed the mood very well. Getting them all done in 48 hours is an achievement in itself. The mood was great, I was nervous about going into the basement! | |
| May 1 07:32:26 | 7m 36s | Delivery | ♥ 1 | I really like the basic mechanic here, and it makes for quite a fun gameplay loop. I did glitch my way through a wall at one point, and another I couldn't release the package I was holding (but I managed to get rid of it by fobbing off a customer), but I liked it overall |
| May 1 07:51:00 | 18m 34s | Hotel Frenzy | ♥ 2 | This game was fantastic. It's such a snappy, beautiful design and it's incredibly fun. I thought at first that the speed of the movement and the any-order delivery would remove any challenge, but the design of the levels really makes you think, absolutely brilliant. That said though, it looks like you didn't create all the assets yourself in 48 hours, so I don't think this is eligible as a compo submission if I understand the rules correctly. It would be a fantastic JAM entry though. |
| May 1 08:11:15 | 20m 15s | AstroFreight | ♥ 1 | This was fun. I appreciated the descriptions of each job and how they matched the cargo. navigating back was a little dull though, maybe you could spice it up with some sort of fuel mechanic or something. I quite enjoyed it though, and thank you for putting in the button to turn off the music. While it was perfectly fine, it was a little annoying by job four! |
| May 1 08:32:48 | 21m 33s | Pizza Friday | ♥ 1 | It took me a few turns to understand the rules completely, but once I did I found it to be quite fun and a very interesting mechanic. The presentation is also delightful, the music was pleasant, and I appreciated the pencil sounds. I had quite an interesting final round where I needed a pizza to progress and only had one row left, so it was re-roll until pizza or clock and it was quite tense! Very well done, I may take inspiration from this for future entries |
| May 1 08:41:31 | 8m 43s | AstroNews Dispatch | ♥ 2 | At first I thought this was impossibly difficult, but once I got the hang of the controls it turned out to be manageable and quite fun. The main challenge was getting between the planets fast enough to not smash straight into them. Good job! |
| May 1 08:56:40 | 15m 09s | Elite Delivery. Pizza Dangerous | ♥ 1 | I feel a bit sorry for the population of these planets, getting only a single pizza between all of them :) I loved the aesthetics, and the idea of throwing pizza slices at the enemies is genius |
| May 1 09:30:05 | 33m 25s | Derry | ♥ 2 | It looks great, and is super cute. The music is very calming, and I like the floating instructions. I liked the mechanic too, and I carefully built my plant staircase toward the floating checkpoint. Then I fell off at the final jump and rage-quit I'm afraid. It may be less punishing if you could survive a fall, at the start at least, and perhaps harvest your plants |
| May 1 10:14:44 | 44m 39s | Solar Express | ♥ 1 | This was fun, and waiting for the orbits to align to reduce fuel cost is a really neat idea. I also liked the information about each of the celestial bodies |
| May 1 10:23:59 | 9m 15s | Package Panic | ♥ 1 | Great entry. The tutorial is excellent, the art style endearing, and the music catchy. The game loop is fun, though the first time I played it I skipped the tutorial and didn't realise I could rotate blocks and so filled it quicker and sent out more trucks, which meant I got a higher score than doing actually trying to fill the trucks |
| May 1 10:40:55 | 16m 56s | Taent | ♥ 2 | Thanks for supporting Linux games! I liked the simple aesthetics, where the parcels are at first the only splash of colour. It was impressively creepy for something so minimilist. |
| May 1 13:32:30 | 2h 51m | Milky Way Mail Day | ♥ 0 | Wow this looks and sounds great! The boss character is very well drawn, and the music is fantastic and easy to bop along to while playing. The game itself is super hard! I'm not sure if I was missing a trick or just being rubbish but it took me quite a few tries to get each level, and it felt a bit random when I did. |
| May 1 13:43:57 | 11m 27s | Silence is just a pipe dream | ♥ 3 | The backdrops looked great! Sometimes it was a little difficult to figure out where a click would send me, perhaps a different cursor or some cursor text would help |
| May 1 13:55:39 | 11m 42s | Dingsi | ♥ 1 | Extremely trippy. I'm afraid I could only find six screws and my giant robot will remain undelivered forever. I appreciated not losing screws when I died, though I did slightly resent my friend not telling me that the water was poisonous before I went in :) |
| May 1 14:06:03 | 10m 24s | A normal day in Uncanny Alley | ♥ 1 | This was very cute. I have to confess I didn't recognise the lower two characters, but I appreciated the animation on the other two, that must have been a lot of work. The theme was clearly evident too, even though there didn't end up being much game to it it's a promising start! I tried to cheat and work out who the characters were from the source but I didn't much in there, did you miss a file perhaps? |
| May 1 14:28:36 | 22m 33s | Joy | ♥ 2 | Visually stunning and very clever, but it is a bit tedious to actually play. That said I did play it all the way through (even restarting after getting stuck in the bench), so it must have been compelling enough! Well done |
| May 1 15:44:17 | 1h 15m | Skyway Delivery | ♥ 2 | This was a solid effort! The minimalist style of the city was appealing, as was the music. The core gameplay isn't really sufficient to sustain 10 deliveries I don't think without something else going on. I'd also like to see a bit more variability in the physics; at the minute terminal velocity is reached very quickly which means there isn't much risk and no way to really speed up deliveries with risky manoeuvres |
| May 1 15:52:05 | 7m 48s | Unicast Network Simulator | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed this quite a lot. The theme is excellent, it looks beautiful, and bonus points for pygame! I also ran into the problem with dense node clusters, but my third map was interesting and I hung out on it for quite a while. Good job! |
| May 1 15:54:30 | 2m 25s | AppleDeliveryWorm | ♥ 1 | I didn't manage to run this, it complains about a lack of unityplayer, and if I throw it in another unity game's directory it complains that it is missing "LudumDare53_Delivery_Data" |
| May 6 08:52:38 | 112h 58m | Ensomniac | ♥ 1 | Very cool game. I liked the arcing making getting the shots right a little more challenging. I did have some crackly audio sometimes, I'm not sure if that's a me problem or not. |
| May 6 09:13:43 | 21m 05s | Andromeda Delivery Service | ♥ 1 | Hilarous and silly game that is really fun. I loved how the engine sounds complimented the music |
| May 6 09:23:00 | 9m 17s | Disruptive Shipping Services | ♥ 0 | The soft shading is beautiful. On my 5120x1440 screen the view is extremely zoomed in, but it looks great if I crane my neck backwards. In addition to what others have said, the colour-based gameplay may not be accessible to all; all the houses and boxes appeared to be the same colour to me. |
| May 6 09:31:21 | 8m 21s | Bord | ♥ 0 | Super cute, super frustrating. I'm afraid I abandoned the bord to its fate |
| May 6 09:38:47 | 7m 26s | Drifty Delivery Service | ♥ 1 | Oh wow this was super difficult! I managed to deliver two packages which is probably as good as I'm going to get. Perhaps colliding with a wall could give us some damage rather than game-over? |
| May 6 09:45:30 | 6m 43s | Delivery City | ♥ 1 | My favourite part of this was the cute pixel-art buildings. Well done! |
| May 6 10:14:08 | 28m 38s | Medieval Messenger | ♥ 0 | The map looks amazing, all the tile types are perfect and they go together great. I got a bit stuck trying to deliver a package to the King of Southampton after he just gave me a job, he kept telling me to get on with it. It almost made me want to not deliver his package! |
| May 13 16:07:08 | 173h 53m | Sermon Delivery Simulator | ♥ 1 | I like the social commentary. You win the game by saying whatever gets people most fired up! That said the gameplay is a little dull. If you let me forcibly eject the white supremacists I'd be much happier! |
