Apr 27 06:43:10 Deepest Sword ♥ 0 Wonderful graphics, and really clever game mechanics! It has a lot of the little things you would expect from a well-polished and finished game. It's a little too difficult for me, but I enjoy my time with it. Great job!
Apr 27 06:48:53 5m 43s Johnny Dreams Bad ♥ 1 The game is really hard, but I love the idea! It was a lot of fun leading the enemies towards the light and pushing them away. Congrats on your first jam!
Apr 27 09:30:03 2h 41m Deepest Space ♥ 1 Great idea using the jam as an opportunity to learn Unreal! I should do that next jam... I like the concept of using planets as a sort of "slingshot" mechanism to go deeper into space, though I'm not sure I figured out how to do it properly. I'd also suggest trying to find a way to slim down the download size, because 500mb will probably turn a lot of people away. Still, nice job!
Apr 27 09:35:47 5m 44s Blue Eye - Salvage & Rescue ♥ 1 Wonderful atmosphere, I love these kinds of games. Very relaxing and moody thanks to the wonderful sound effects. I agree with the other commenters, I was confused as to whether I was supposed to avoid the fish, but once I figured it out I had a great time! Nice job 😄
Apr 27 10:01:01 25m 14s The Spectrum Soup ♥ 1 This was a very thought provoking and eye opening experience, thank you for sharing it! It took me a moment to realize that the unlocked doors were indicated by white and locked doors were indicated by red, but once I did things went smoothly. I loved the idea of picking up ingredients tied to traits, and the ending tied it all together perfectly. Great job! A couple technical nitpicks: - Vertical mouse sensitivity seemed lower than horizontal, which was a bit strange to get used to - Continue Dialog button should probably be something like 'F' rather than 'Enter' so you don't have to take your hand off the mouse
Apr 27 21:17:14 11h 16m depthscraper ♥ 2 Very interesting and unique take on a puzzle game. Lots of fun to play and to try and get a higher score. Great job!
Apr 27 21:27:08 9m 54s Ore Hoarder ♥ 1 I love it! Reminds me of Motherload, one of my old favorites. It would be great if you could provide a WebGl version, so more people could play it, though I don't know how hard that is to do with Game Maker Studio 2.
Apr 27 21:34:41 7m 33s Deeper and Deeper ♥ 1 I like it! Kind of reminds me of fighting the wall of flesh in terraria. I agree with the other comments that the movement mechanics could use a little tuning, but I still had a fun time 😄
Apr 28 05:08:37 7h 33m Rooted ♥ 1 Very interesting take on combining resource mining + puzzle, I had a lot of fun with it. A couple of nitpicks though: - The font was pretty difficult to read, itlo okedl ike textwa soddl yspaced 😅 - The buttons that required you to click on them did not clearly indicate that they were buttons, I was stuck at the intro screen for a bit trying to figure out how to progress by mashing the keyboard. Still, great job!
Apr 28 06:06:25 57m 48s The Tourist ♥ 1 I loved the atmosophere and the visuals (though performance is pretty spotty throughout). I think you did a great job with the sound effects - and it really sold the ending. Great job!
Apr 28 06:11:41 5m 16s Mystical Island ♥ 1 Clever idea, and a great take on the theme! I feel like there's not a ton of player agency - you click on a square and something happens to you, but you have no way of knowing the potential consequences or how to influence those consequences. I'd love to see this expanded with either more information provided to the player, or diferent things they could do to influence the outcome. Still, good job!
Apr 28 06:40:14 28m 33s Afraid to Turn ♥ 1 What a wonderfully polished, well put together game! There's an amazing atmosphere and mood, and the artstyle is beautiful. I like how it can be started, understood, and beat within 5 minutes. Great entry!
Apr 28 06:52:37 12m 23s My Little Tree ♥ 0 What a wonderfully relaxing experience. The trees you can create are absolutely beautiful. Great job!
Apr 28 07:11:21 18m 44s Dreep - Drilling Deep ♥ 0 Tons of fun, the core gameplay loop of a Motherload-style game is just so addicting 😄 I kept digging further and further down trying to find an end - is there one!?
Apr 28 08:10:23 59m 02s Bumpy Drilly ♥ 1 Had great fun, but I wish there was more to upgrade than just speed/light. Played all the way to the end! I lovedhow you changed up the mechanics a bit there.
Apr 28 08:23:07 12m 44s Magic Frontier ♥ 2 What a wonderful puzzle game! Normally I'm not a big fan of puzzle games, but this one kept me hooked. I think the excellent game-feel had something to do with. Definitely one of my favorite games of LD48 😄
Apr 28 08:33:32 10m 25s The Deep North ♥ 1 Lots of fun, great art and a lovely mood. I lost when a monster pushed me into the trees and I got stuck 🙁
Apr 28 08:52:56 19m 24s The Bothnia Trench ♥ 1 Aww, it ended so quickly, I was so excited to see the story continue! I'm disappointed there isn't more, but that's a sign that you made something really engaging. Great job!
Apr 28 09:01:57 9m 01s Rocket digger ♥ 1 What a clever take on the genre! I had a lot of fun exploding my way through the mine, great job 😄
Apr 28 09:07:11 5m 14s Dig it up, dog! ♥ 1 This is hilarious and adorable. What a fun little experience. Great job!
Apr 28 09:14:27 7m 16s Run Miner ♥ 1 Fun, simple platformer with really cute pixel art. I felt like the gravity was a bit too intense (or the jump was a bit too weak) and the short music loop drove me crazy, but I still had a fun time 😄
Apr 28 09:48:38 34m 11s Deep Space ♥ 0 Really fun game! I spent a while trying to get all the upgrades - but I feel like the speed upgrade is misleading and almost a death sentence/downgrade.
May 1 08:37:13 70h 48m Nuclear blaze ♥ 1 Wow, what a masterpiece for a LD submission! An absolutely polished and enjoyable experience from start to end - if only there were sound, but it's clear you spent that valuable time polishing up everything else. Great job!
May 1 08:43:19 6m 06s Asterisk ♥ 4 Wow, what a wonderful experience! Kudos to the voice actor for doing such a professional job. The game was beautiful, polished, and clearly well loved. I had some strange audio issues that caused the game to lag ocassionally, but aside from that it was a great time!
May 1 08:53:56 10m 37s ROOTS ♥ 2 This might be my favorite submission! It's very relaxing, absolutely gorgeous, and has that "just one more round" addiction. My only complaint is that I felt like a lot of runs could just be stacked against you from the start and end very early, leading to a slow start in the beginning. I still love it though, great job!
May 1 09:01:22 7m 26s Deep-fry Deeper ♥ 1 This was a very cute, quick game! I spent some time trying to get a perfect (at least as perfect as I could get it) score. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to turn off tutorials, to speed up runs. Nice job!
