| Oct 6 02:18:49 | Particle Accelerator | ♥ 1 | Very good and challenging platformer! It's cool that you managed to make so many levels in such a short time. It took me a while to get used to controls and to the momentum mechanics, and even now that I have finished the game I don't completely understand it. I mostly just smashed keys randomly until it started to work. 😁 Seeing that you are going for a retro feel, I could suggest to add some cool post-processing effects like bloom and CRT effect. It will look awesome with your game! 2020-10-05T22-08-14.png | |
| Oct 6 03:52:35 | 1h 33m | wipestuck | ♥ 1 | Cool and weird interactive experience! Big props for custom engine and Linux exclusivity! 🐧 |
| Oct 6 05:06:34 | 1h 13m | maximum loopage | ♥ 0 | Nice racing game with cool pixel-art graphics. It would probably be fun to play it in multiplayer, but there weren't any players unfortunately. Maybe you could add some bots, so the game can be played in single player as well. |
| Oct 6 06:18:05 | 1h 11m | StackInTheLoop | ♥ 3 | Cool rally game! The controls are nice and driving feels satisfying. I also like the simple graphics, and the music as well. I think this game really needs a restart option, because if you messed up a run you have to wait for the timer to finish. |
| Oct 6 18:33:38 | 12h 15m | The Loop of Death | ♥ 0 | Nice top-down shooter, it's cool that you created such a big level with variety of environments. I like the graphics style and the music is nice. The game unfortunately started to lag for me when there were lots of enemies, and the guns feel a bit underpowered against all them. |
| Oct 6 18:46:50 | 13m 12s | Loop de Loop | ♥ 0 | Very cool idea! I like the puzzles, simple graphics and sounds. I got stuck at the hole after completing the falling blocks section, I don't know if it's intentional or not. screenshot.jpg |
| Oct 6 19:09:24 | 22m 34s | Loopsed In Space | ♥ 1 | Cool concept that makes fun of mobile games market. The coins for some reason get counted only after a second you collected them, and if you died immediately after then it won't count. And I feel a bit dumb, because I actually collected 50 coins. It took me forever... |
| Oct 6 19:18:26 | 9m 02s | Collateral Damage | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea, graphics and sounds! I enjoyed it a lot! I think you should make it possible to restart the game on Space, so you don't have to move your hands every time on losing. |
| Oct 6 19:26:11 | 7m 45s | WhileLoops | ♥ 1 | Awesome idea! I actually was thinking about making a game about a programming loop, but it wouldn't be half as good as yours! |
| Oct 7 04:06:23 | 8h 40m | DIMENSION LOOP | ♥ 1 | Yet another awesome game from you! I love how you keep player's interest to the game with various creative gameplay changes, constantly adding something new and unexpected. And it perfectly fits the theme! |
| Oct 8 19:00:51 | 38h 54m | Colorful Memories | ♥ 2 | Very touching game with a deep meaning. Got me thinking about many things. I got only one issue, a sentence on the end scene wasn't completed, looks like the text was out of bounds or something like it. text.jpg |
| Oct 8 19:30:20 | 29m 29s | Loop Fare | ♥ 1 | Fun little game. I like the simple gameplay and the upgrade mechanics. Though I had a few bugs. 1\. For some reason it wouldn't let me collect more than 30 coins, even though I had all stash upgrades. 2\. It looks like once you unlock an upgrade, you can buy it an infinite amount of times, even if you don't have enough money. I was able to make my account negative this way. https://static.ldjam.com/raw/b34/43/z/39b7c.jpg 3\. Also, at one point there was no way for me to avoid fire hydrants. https://static.ldjam.com/raw/b34/43/z/39b78.jpg |
| Oct 9 03:32:54 | 8h 02m | Johnny Lootem's Going Loopy! | ♥ 2 | Wow, fantastic game! I love everything about it - very cool graphics, music, lots of unique enemies, and awesome dynamic gameplay with cool upgrade system. It really keeps you playing until the end. The game was a bit difficult at first, but then it just started to rain scraps at me, hundreds upon hundreds, I could easily upgrade my ship to the maximum capacity and buy an insane amount of rockets, which made it a lot fun! My only critic is that the controls are a bit difficult, the ship moves too fast and too smooth. But it adds some fun challenge I guess, so not necessarily a bad thing. It will be awesome if you release a Linux version, I would like to keep this game in my native library! 2020-10-08T23-16-35.png |
| Oct 9 04:02:48 | 29m 54s | Uncover The Loop | ♥ 1 | Nice little puzzle game, the graphics and physics need a bit more polish, but otherwise it's not bad. I liked the atmosphere. I wasn't able to get the code, because I couldn't read clues (I have a glitch in Unity games with text not rendering when playing under Wine, it's not a problem with your game), but I solved all the other puzzles. |
| Oct 10 07:12:23 | 27h 09m | MUGEN | ♥ 1 | Nice little game, maybe a bit too challenging. Hitting a single wrong-colored enemy seems to undo all your progress. I would make the success/failure ratio closer to 1:1. |
| Oct 10 16:39:27 | 9h 27m | Dead Hand | ♥ 1 | Very immersive game with cool command-line interface! If you ignore the typos, the announcement messages felt very real. And the slowdowns were really scary at times. I think you need to add the possibility to view previous emails, because there is no way to get the delay code later unless you copy it somewhere. P.S. Entering the shutdown code doesn't actually cancel the strike and you can continue playing... It looks like a bug, but it's kind of convenient, given the theme. 😁 Screenshot 2020-10-10 122038.png |
| Oct 10 21:21:24 | 4h 41m | Loop the Loop | ♥ 1 | Nice rhythm-based game, very original idea! I think a little explanation of all the abilities would be nice, I still don't quite understand all of them (except for hammer). And I played on Linux by the way, the game runs great! |
| Oct 10 21:32:24 | 11m 00s | Mind the Gap | ♥ 1 | Funny little adventure game. I couldn't figure out how to convince the boombox guy to stop his music. But it's okay, the music was cool. :-) |
| Oct 11 03:52:16 | 6h 19m | Progress. | ♥ 2 | Wow, such an awesome game! Very unique and smart played idea about collecting points to enable only certain controls. It was really fun to *progress*! Loved the ending. I think it would be nice to be able to skip the intro messages, since they can take long time, especially when you restart a lot (when platforming, for example). I played on Linux by the way, the game runs great! |
| Oct 11 15:46:17 | 11h 54m | Codebusters | ♥ 1 | Awesome puzzle game! The dialogues are funny, and the mechanics is very interesting. The puzzles are challenging but not too much - just like I prefer it! thanks_for_playing.jpg |
| Oct 11 18:40:30 | 2h 54m | Maze Service | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea about restoring the database. Unfortunately, I couldn't play on Linux using Wine, it seems to read the file (judging by the logs) but nothing happens when you walk between the rooms. There aren't any objects like depicted on screenshots. But I understand the general idea and it's pretty cool! I found an amusing bug, you can make the character spin. 😄 It looks like it is incorrectly affected by rigidbody physics. out.gif |
| Oct 11 20:17:37 | 1h 37m | black_box | ♥ 1 | Very cool and addictive game. It was fun running around the ship and fixing it. I think I got to the end, though I'm not completely sure. It says "leave the loop" but I can't think of anything other than quitting the game. 😅 2020-10-11T16-06-31.png |
| Oct 12 23:10:38 | 26h 53m | Soy Content | ♥ 0 | Props for using [Bevy](https://bevyengine.org/)! It's a very promising engine that I want to learn once it gets more stable. The movement in this game is a bit too slow, and I would prefer higher mouse sensitivity. Head bobbing is way too aggressive, you need to lower it a bit (I ended up disabling it). The models are great, but I think they really need some colors. The game just feels too lifeless and insipid without them. But maybe you were going for such style, I can't really tell. I like how you made the rooms loop, very well fits the theme. I couldn't get out of the "Content" room (it had no doors), so I assume it is an ending. But this can't be right, because the screenshots have outside house and the shop, which I didn't get to see in the game. Maybe you're just teasing us. 😛 2020-10-12T18-46-58.png |
| Oct 13 17:06:14 | 17h 55m | Tunnels | ♥ 1 | Awesome art style and sound effects, and cool gameplay mechanics that fits the theme pretty well. I like how you unlock movement abilities one by one, reminds me of Ori and the Blind Forest. I managed to complete the game before inserting the 3rd stone, since my character already had the necessary abilities. 😀 thanks_for_playing.jpg |
| Oct 13 20:08:12 | 3h 01m | Tunnel Racer | ♥ 0 | Very cool and atmospheric tunnel runner! I love the neon graphics and the way the tunnel is generated. Some music and a score system would make this a complete experience! |
| Oct 22 21:52:59 | 217h 44m | Recursion | ♥ 0 | Very cool and scary PSX-styled game. It follows the theme pretty well and I felt tension the whole time. The only problem for me was the monster sequences. They felt very awkward, because I kept running into obstacles. Especially when I had to run backwards and shoot, that was really hard. |
| Oct 26 19:22:35 | 93h 29m | Dynamics Corporation | ♥ 1 | I liked the intro a lot, it felt very natural, I didn't mind it being long. Though it would be nice to be able to skip it after your hard drive gets reset. I wouldn't figure out that you can climb the boxes if not for @lazenman's comment. Really nice, I love how much work you put into the surrounding area, how vast it is, even though we only get to see it at the very end. I think the UI could be smaller, it takes half of the screen, which hurts the experience a bit. 2020-10-26T14-37-44.png |
| Oct 27 02:24:34 | 7h 01m | In A House | ♥ 1 | Nice room escape game. Though the music choice is really weird in this one! I would advice you to use windowed fullscreen mode, because it is usually much more responsive than actual fullscreen. 2020-10-26T22-16-47.png |
