| Apr 22 00:35:42 | To Save a Princess | ♥ 1 | Hey I tried out your game, and I will say it's a pretty bold choose to try and do an rpg for a jam! I ran into loading errors in the shop fight and the bat fight, so I was not able to continue past that point. I do like how you can game over when talking to the king tho, that was funny. You made a good attempted keep up the good work. | |
| Apr 22 00:59:35 | 23m 53s | Hatching Rush | ♥ 0 | I played your game and I got to say it is fun, but also very very hard. Because the screen is not wide enough to see what is coming next. While you are still in midair a rock can come into view and whamo! The big rock did not seem to have any collision, and the hitbox for dinosaurs we play seems a bit on the big side. Other then those little things you have the makings of a good game! I love the art, and the theme was clearly involved. Good job! |
| Apr 22 01:31:47 | 32m 12s | Giant Blobs From Mars | ♥ 1 | I made it to level 4. In fact at the time of writing this the trees are still being eaten in another tab. That being said my only criticism has already been said by other comments. When you cover the field it turns into a waiting game. But other than that you did a solid job. Everything works, the music is good but can get a bit repetitive, the presentation looks nice, and the theme was well used. Very solid jam entree. Good work! |
| Apr 22 23:25:13 | 21h 53m | Monster Zoo | ♥ 2 | I played this for way to long. I was more making a gauntlet of horror for the visitors to make it through. Simple simulator game where you make your own fun. my only criticism is there was no sound or music which I'm sure you are aware of and just didn't have time to do. Over all I like your game a bunch! Good work. |
| Apr 22 23:36:17 | 11m 04s | Escapade | ♥ 1 | That was a lot of fun! I played it a few times and found different ways to solve each obstacle. I love games that let you do that! The theme was there the idea was good and the game play was well explained in the beginning. Good Job! Solid entree. |
| Apr 23 00:01:41 | 25m 24s | Treeia | ♥ 0 | I like the game play, the theme is well implemented. I will say that on my screen the game was to zoomed in and I could not see the info in the top left corner of the game. Could have just been my computer so no big deal there.I was a tough game... I died... a lot. It also took me longer then I would like to admit to figure out you can pick up the machine gun. But I had fun throughout! Great job! |
| Apr 23 00:23:00 | 21m 19s | Devil Devour Alive | ♥ 1 | Remember the 90's??? This feels like it jumped right out of an old online flash game site from 1999, and that is not a bad thing. The game is straight forward. It's a fair skill based high-score game. Looks good, sounds good, uses the theme well. I do think your game would benefit from little things like different and varied sound effects and possibly some screen shake. Other than that good job. |
| Apr 23 00:35:44 | 12m 44s | Mountain | ♥ 0 | Fun game. It's simple but challenging, I got as far as I could, but i'm not sure if there is and end, but that's okay. I would recommend the use of some sound effects and music. I see this is only your second jam so I want to tell you good job! Keep up the good work. |
| Apr 23 02:13:18 | 1h 37m | The Birb | ♥ 3 | Mirroring the other comments your look and atmosphere of your game is top notch. Most of what I think has been said, but I will say I like that you can run off a ledge and still jump. From a programming prospective I have had trouble getting this to work well, and i applaud it's use. I do wish there was more, it being a jam and all it's to be expected, but it feels like we scratched the tip of the iceberg. Good work! I hope you continue to work on this. |
| Apr 23 02:23:50 | 10m 32s | Lively | ♥ 2 | It is the nature of the beast when it comes to jams. Sometimes it's better to present a clean working concept, than a broken, rushed together build. Anyone who has participated in jams before knows how the crunch effects many aspects of a game. It's clear what you were going for, and it was a bold choice. I applaud what you were able to accomplish. Good Job. |
| Apr 23 03:21:16 | 57m 26s | Bones to the Party | ♥ 4 | This is a silly fun game and I love it to death. I will say it is hard to focus on the moving spot light, and the arrow keys prompt below. I would've liked to see it appear above your head, but it's a minor nitpick. Also the changing camera angle was a nice touch. a solid jam entree for sure. Good Job. |
| Apr 23 04:04:25 | 43m 09s | Tumbleweed | ♥ 2 | Wow! There is not much to say that other comments have not already said, but I'll give it my best try. I played through the game twice. Once as intended and once to purposely break the game. I didn't find to much wrong with the game other then some collision problems which is even more impressive from a programming point of view. I got to say it was fun both time. The game is a shining testament to knowing how to use your tools. A+ Great job! |
| Apr 23 16:39:52 | 12h 35m | From Inside The Machinery | ♥ 1 | lgjame game.png That was good story telling. Good challenge, will still remaining simple. I will say while there is not a ton to do the conversation kept me interested to see the end. I would have loved to see some animations but this is a jam so it's understandable why there aren't any. Other then that good job! |
| Apr 23 16:57:13 | 17m 21s | Final Interrogation | ♥ 2 | ldjampic.png That was fun. I got to say I glad I figured it out in my first go. I feel you put enough information into your game to make it more then just a guess. Other then a few typos (I'm guilt as well) great writing and story telling for such a short game. Good job! |
| Apr 23 17:13:58 | 16m 45s | WordChain | ♥ 1 | ldjampic1.png I don't like word games because I've never been a strong speller, but I had fun with your game. It let me take my time and didn't punish me for wrong answers or even down right guesses. Also that music is great! It reminds me of the intro to The Tick! one of my favorite shows growing up! I did run into a bug, but you had already listed it so it's all good. Great Job! |
| Apr 23 17:23:48 | 9m 50s | Shelter the Flame | ♥ 1 | ldjampic2.png Why a ghost needs fire? Why a ghost needs 3 fires? How is he so good at keeping them lit? Not important. I had fun with your game, it was simple yet challenging. I would have liked to see and indicator for which cloud was raining harder other then just more rain drops. Maybe some lightning could come out??? Other than that good job on the game! |
| Apr 23 17:43:36 | 19m 48s | Dragon Eggs: Greatest Hits Edition | ♥ 1 | ldjampic3.png Well That was fun! I played the computer, and my brother fun both times. I have made a checkers game in the past with an cpu opponent, it was not easy... like at all, and that was just Checkers! Very impressive with your game! Great job! |
| Apr 23 17:56:26 | 12m 50s | Economic Bubble | ♥ 2 | Someone think of the economy! That was fun. a simple game yet comical and timely. I like animations as well. ldjampic4.png The face of fear! Great job! |
| Apr 23 18:16:56 | 20m 30s | No Peeking | ♥ 1 | ldjampic5.png That was some Sisyphean level SCP stuff right there! I like the look of your game for sure, but lets focus on the audio for a second. The heart beat getting faster the longer the canister is out is a nice touch. The distortion on the music when you look at the creature is well done. My favorite part is when it says "End of dream immanent!" and the game end... the game literally ends! But my question is who was really the one dreaming the creature or you??? Dun! Dun! Dun! Even though there is not much to "play" in the game the mood is on point! I hope you take this idea and expand on it further. Great Job! |
| Apr 23 19:01:38 | 44m 42s | Arcane City: Alive | ♥ 0 | Well I got them to sign the book. That was a trip, good writing and use of music. I like that there was some choices in the story, and that it effecting the outcome. I got all the endings I believe. I was hoping for some more cosmic horror, but this being a jam it's understandable that there was not more. though I was looking foreword to human faced rat man. Good job! |
| Apr 23 23:15:09 | 4h 13m | Convicted | ♥ 2 | That was a lot of fun! That was so far the funniest game I have played. I tell you what I played through it several times so I could see the different outcomes and it was hilarious! If it had a bit more polish and a few more options and animations I would but that game. Good stuff. ldjampic6.png |
| Apr 23 23:23:34 | 8m 25s | First Love / Late Spring | ♥ 0 | Well I played your game. That was funny. "Minimalism" mad me laugh. My two criticisms you are probably aware of, the game gets an error if you click the heart or exit after you are out of matches. And every time you do finish talking to someone the game closes, forcing you to watch the intro and title cards. Other then that I liked it a bunch. |
| Apr 23 23:48:03 | 24m 29s | To the Moon and Back... | ♥ 1 | Well That was intriguing, it was no house on the run from the cops (; but I like what you have made. Simple story telling at it's finest. the pacing and amount of tension building for such a short game is on point. Good work! |
| Apr 24 00:13:46 | 25m 43s | CRAZ | ♥ 1 | Well That was a fast paced top down shooter! Reminds me of Hotline Miami, but with a twist! I found the method that worked the best was shoot a guy or two, swap, clean blood, and repeat. Safe? Yes. Fun? Not as much as playing greedy killing as many as you can before you swap at the last second. Great fun and good job. |
| Apr 24 04:01:05 | 3h 47m | D'ough | ♥ 0 | Not going to lie, this was tough. I like the concept, I love the music and the idea of a sloth making sourdough. I just had trouble starting. Even clicking on the cook book only helped so much. I would recommend some simple arrows to show you where things are and in what order to use them. Just once, then set me free into the bread making wild! But other then a bit of a confusing start, Good job! |
| Apr 24 17:29:14 | 13h 28m | Oak Defenders | ♥ 2 | Well that was a load of fun! The game play loop is simple and fun, controls handle well, and the music was good! I had fun. Great job! ldjampic7.png |
| Apr 24 17:40:33 | 11m 19s | Lily vs. the Swarm | ♥ 1 | That was fun, I love a good scrolling shooter, I would like to shoot faster, but It's not really a complaint. Other then that the art is cool, and the music works well. Good Job! |
| Apr 25 06:27:28 | 12h 46m | DODGE IT | ♥ 0 | ldjampic8.png Well that was a lot of fun! I actually got to 55 on my second go but didn't take a picture, then die around 30 for a bit. 49 is the next best I could do. I love the simple yet fast pace game play, will say that difficulty ramp is almost 90* tho. I also want to ask if you beat the game your self or just sent this beast into the wild? I feel with some time I could get that higher, but 100 may take some time... A lot of time. Great job! |
| Apr 25 21:32:09 | 15h 04m | Why Baby? | ♥ 2 | Well that was fun. I would say if you were to continue this I wish I could see a Emperors New Groove character arch for the dino. That would be amazing. Great Job! |
| Apr 30 22:43:04 | 121h 10m | Spare-n-Slash | ♥ 1 | Well that was fun. Very bold choice for a 72 hour jam. I see what you were going for, and I liked what I saw. I just wish you had more time to work on it. But for what you managed to get working was impressive. Good Job. I hope to see more from you in the future. |
| May 8 03:21:19 | 172h 38m | Keep IT Alive! | ♥ 2 | That was a silly fun game. It did take me a moment to figure out what was happening, but one you get that out of the way the game is a funny Blast to play. Good Job. |
| May 9 03:59:16 | 24h 37m | PICKLE on Mars (with Crab) | ♥ 1 | That was fun but a bit tough. Not that my game is not hard as well, but I found the difficulty was not in the type of game that you made, but the speed at which you and the enemies move, and the enemies random spawn. I felt I was running into them at mach 1. I feel if the enemy sprite was a tad bit bigger and maybe the crab had variable speed it would be a tighter game gameplay wise. But it's a Jam and it was still a fun game to play. Good Job. |
| May 10 18:51:46 | 38h 52m | Cthulhu: The Cult Must Not Die | ♥ 2 | Well that was fun. The idea was well executed, and worked well. While the game was fun hands down my favorite thing was the disappearing pillars! High marks on that one. Not much to complain about, my character got hung up here and there, but that's fine. I do wish some thing came out of the whole though, but again this is a jam. All and all a solid Jam entry. Good Job! |
