| May 5 09:45:35 | 28m 16s | Kill The Money | ♥ 1 | Very cool game, the graphics are pretty and it's fun to play. A few things (that other people mostly said already): - it's quite long and boring to kill the enemies with the first gun when they are floating above the player's height - I got hit too easily by the spikes - shooting with the mouse feels a bit cumbersome when there isn't really any aiming (I'm playing with a trackpad on a laptop). it could be nice to have the option to shoot with the space bar or something. You said this was "only level one", so I'm looking forward to the rest! |
| May 5 10:22:09 | 36m 34s | Chains & Ore | ♥ 1 | The game is overall quite fun, with an interesting concept. It's really impressive that you managed to do that in just a week-end! Are you planning to release it as a full game? I think there's potential :-) I have a few comments: - In my first playthrough, I jumped with the slaves down the pit on the right of the start of the first mine, and everyone died. There's no way to know that there are spikes down that pit. This is especially frustrating because you can't just "restart" the level (you can, but you lose time and resources). - At some point in the first mine, I got the slaves up a lift and realized too late that I had sent them back to the start of the level, which made me lose something like a minute or two. This is quite frustrating. - It took me a long time to manage to get the slaves through this opening, because if you are too close to the wall when you jump it doesn't let you through, and if the lift is too high you can't pass: Screenshot from 2019-05-05 11-59-00.png - (just being picky now) pressing E and D at the same time is a bit cumbersome :P! |
| May 5 12:06:13 | 1h 44m | Overburnt | ♥ 1 | The game is pretty nice, I liked the graphics and it was fun to play! However, the main original features (the fatigue) had no impact on my decisions. I completely ignored it, and it never went beyond 60%. Another remark: it's hard to see the difference between an empty slot and a slot with a wooden sword. |
| May 5 12:43:23 | 37m 10s | Bullet Vomit | ♥ 1 | I loved the mood and the graphics of this game. I love minimalism done right, and this is definitely a great example of that. The main downside for me is that I found the game a bit repetitive pretty fast. |
| May 5 13:14:52 | 31m 29s | Psukhe-survival | ♥ 0 | Hey! Your game seems awesome and I really wanna play it. Unfortunately, when I run `tsc`, I get the following error: ```error TS5023: Unknown compiler option 'types'.``` |
| May 6 11:11:16 | 21h 56m | Till Breath Do Us Part | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool game, it matches the theme really well :-). One improvement could be to add an arrow that points to the remaining enemies, so we don't lose time walking around the map looking for the last remaining foe :P |
| May 6 19:18:47 | 8h 07m | Green Goo | ♥ 1 | I love the originality of your entry! It's really fun to play around with gravity in this way. One thing: when there were many green orbs, the game slowed down a lot, but I think the water counter still decreased at a "real time" pace. |
| May 6 19:29:28 | 10m 41s | Hell's Business | ♥ 1 | Nice entry, the story made me laugh :P I found the camera a bit annoying, I often jumped just to move it up a little, so I could see what was there. I think it should just center on the character. Also the jump sometimes didn't work, I'm not sure why (or when, sorry for the completely unhelpful bug report :D) The monster bodies just staying around are pretty fun, I feel like maybe you could do something with that, e.g. use them to activate a pressure plate or something. |
| May 6 19:37:10 | 7m 42s | Bora Bora Or Bust | ♥ 2 | Nice little game, it's quite an original idea :-) One thing I can think of to improve it visually is to plot a graph of the exchange rate. It would look pretty cool (at least to people who think graphs are cool :P) |
| May 6 19:53:11 | 16m 01s | Tough Business | ♥ 1 | Nice game. Not that hard, I thought. I only had to restart once. Maybe I was just lucky? |
| May 11 18:00:26 | 118h 07m | Game of Fields | ♥ 0 | I like the idea of making a board game on the computer like that, it's not something that I've ever seen in a game jam. The graphics make the experience quite "real" too, so good job on that. Unfortunately, I felt the game was quite boring. It's mostly random, which I don't really enjoy, and when played alone, it feels weird to have the bots' turn take that long. Still, the game looks good and is really well done overall! |
| May 12 08:04:13 | 14h 03m | Dental Dosh | ♥ 0 | Nice game! I just wish there was a bit more to do while the wave is happening, once you've finished building your towers. |
| May 12 08:15:31 | 11m 18s | Last Stand | ♥ 1 | I usually don't like turned-based strategy too much, but this game was really fun to play! Also, pretty hard :D |
| May 12 08:29:13 | 13m 42s | SERVUS BONUS | ♥ 0 | The game looks cool, but I couldn't get it to work correctly on Linux. When I launch it, I get the main menu, but when I start the game, it fades to black, music start, and then it never fades to the actual game. |
| May 12 08:44:38 | 15m 25s | Buckubus: suck 'em dry! | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool game. I agree with yall, the theme really sucked, and it's cool to see that you made a nice game anyway. The concept is quite original, I could see it becoming a nice game outside of the jam if you added a bunch of levels. One thing that frustrates me is the hitbox when sucking projectiles. I often get hit when I thought I would just absorb it. |
