Apr 30 03:07:09 An American Blood Clot in Techno Athens ♥ 1 I really loved the animations of the blood clot and how each level was pretty much it's own self contained mechanic that built upon each other to finally beat the last level. Also the music was totally jamming
Apr 30 04:13:57 1h 06m Darkest Decision ♥ 3 for a game with such a dark theme I found myself laughing a whole lot. Wait do I have dark humor....
Apr 30 05:12:29 58m 32s Snek Farm ♥ 3 the music is really charmful and relaxing which really fits with the theme of farming. I thought most of the games in this jam would be very intense due to your life being a currency but I just felt charmed moving my snek around planting some delicious strawberries. My only feedback and maybe it's just b/c I'm old b/c I was told the sounds in my game were way too loud. But I can barely hear the sound effects over the music (but I love the music)
Apr 30 05:34:39 22m 10s Pew Pew Crew! ♥ 3 this was probably the funniest game I've played yet. Whoever did the sound effects for the crew is amazing. I love the concept of how different crew members do different things so you become worse b/c you have less crew. I made it to level 9 and couldn't really get past that level I'm sure if I tried more I would beat it. Overall the game looks and feels very polished. I love the look of the different levels with the space theme
May 1 01:32:33 19h 57m Fortress Knights ♥ 1 the intro part to the game made me think I was about to jump into a gameboy battle royale that was actually really cool. I did like the concept of building and breaking bricks. It seemed like the level was pretty pretty good tutorial level to teach the concepts, of course game jams you always run out of time to do more so it was nice to see something pretty fleshed out. It was a little difficult to do the brick laying but I got the hang of it The main thing I would of loved to see would of been some sweet music to match with the aesthetic and sfx but It's understandable that music is not easy to make. Either way I enjoyed the game and how you went full into the gameboy look and feel
May 1 01:37:48 5m 15s Mr Moneybag ♥ 1 this game was very lovely. I really appreciated the color coding for things and how you could tab to see information about all the numbers. That alone was really slick and smooth. Because of the color coding it was really easy to understand the game and progress. I tried to imagine coin sounds while I was playing the game haha. Really cool stuff though.
May 1 02:46:36 1h 08m Life Delivery Service ♥ 1 oh gosh. I feel like a monster. I couldn't resist running into all the people in the one level with a park. I just had to do it. The change of the music is simply great. But it was like I had a split personality after seeing the failure message. I was like no I must save the people I must be a good citizen and do my job. I have people counting on me. I dunno why but I might have a sick sense of humor but I was laughing the entire time. I Had a great time playing the game. Does it actually loop through to the beginning
May 1 02:58:08 11m 32s Gacha ♥ 0 I'll admit I didn't understand the game at first probably b/c I never played a gacha game before. But then it just started clicking. I really really wish there was some music to match the tone of the game especially the sad moments but the art is beautiful I really love it and love the cozy nature of the game. And the replay-ability to catch all the toys was a fun touch. I just hope I don't get addicted to gacha games now lol
May 4 04:10:23 73h 12m NECROCAT 9000 ♥ 2 The opening intro and sfx made me laugh out loud. Probably one of the more funny games I have played so far. So definitely a great job making the game fun and funny. at first I didn't realize the strategy but once I learned how to use the vet and the mail man along with the others I was really zooming along and I was doing good for awhile. I don't think I've seen any games so far have cut-scenes. I was really impressed by the presentation in this game. The only issue I had at first was just kinda remembering which number key represented which thing but after getting a hang of that it was pretty cool. I couldn't tell if the enemies had different speeds or health mostly b/c I was just trying to get the heck away haha.
May 4 04:24:58 14m 35s Knock Knock... The travelling soulsman ♥ 1 Oh my gosh I love the theme music in this game. I found my self humming it along. Seriously there is so much charm packed into this cute little game. And the intro animation and title screen are superb quality. Looks like that of a full title release. I totally failed with my first customer and I think there was a slight bug where when I picked choices for dialogue I could accidentally break the window haha, but it was easy to work around. Thank you for making me laugh and have a really enjoyable play through.
May 4 04:39:14 14m 16s Spare Life ♥ 1 I tried using an xbox one controler at first but I think maybe the game is designed for mouse and keyboard so once I switched to that I knew what I was doing. I didn't really notice what abilities I was losing but I did have fun with all the different weapon types and was especially cool that you could interact with the grenades and kick them around. I had fun blowing up the enemies and killing them haha. The guns felt powerful.
May 4 04:49:42 10m 28s The 7 Cents Deal ♥ 2 The game is probably not what I would wanna play but with the music the art and the charm it somehow made doing math fun. That's a big accomplishment in my book. I got a score of 154.1 and 19 purrfects (love the pun). I think the one thing I wasn't sure on was when I'd get some cats who had the exact change already and they turned into an angel. I wasn't sure if that was supposed to happen lol But either way this was a very well presented and fun little game. Great job!!!
May 4 05:01:54 12m 12s Big Facinating Mutants ♥ 2 This game made me laugh and gave me a serious sam vibe. I dunno if there are rounds but I never passed the first round. I was really wanting to get uber powerful ahha but either way my favorite was the shotgun. Blasting the bananas was really hard though haha. One other strange issue When I played non fullscreen the shop didn't fit. So I made it full screen I could see all the items in the shop. But running fullscreen made the game run choppy. It ran well non fullscreen though. You probably already knew haha it's a game jam game everything isn't going to be perfect.
May 4 05:21:52 19m 58s Lifelust ♥ 3 My favorite part was when I got an upgrade that killed me. I dunno why but I find it funny that with this theme a lot of games you can literally kill yourself by buying things. I thought the game was fun. It was pretty simple and kinda reminded me of a rhythm game at first. I liked the music and I really liked the little shop the power ups UI looked really cool. I see you want to add more enemies. I think that will really spice up the game b/c the 2 enemies by wave 10 I was ready for another new type of enemy. But for this jam it's pretty good. I think maybe the parallax speeds could of been adjusted, something felt a tiny bit off but I couldn't place it. But the background looked really cool
May 4 20:47:57 15h 26m My Memories ♥ 1 I was feeling so confident then I made it to the boss and I died haha. Cool game especially considering you just learned unreal4. I would of loved to have the knockback effect that the boss had on all the smaller enemies. The controls felt smooth. I did have to do a circle pattern to attack and avoid enemies all at once it was kinda fun though. The story parts were interesting too. I didn't think I'd be seeing a ton of story in games but it's a nice touch
May 8 03:46:44 78h 58m People Poker ♥ 2 LOL so all the guys are naked haha. I was like wait are my guys naked. I dunno why but that made me laugh. The game itself was a bit hard I got the concept but it seemed pretty difficult. Maybe I'm just not patient enough to make it by. I did make it off the edge of the table once and due to the difficulty it was very satisfying to save my one little dude. I would say the game wasn't the most fun game but b/c it was so silly and funny, I did have fun playing it. I am pretty sure you had fun making the game.
May 8 04:12:31 25m 47s All Become One ♥ 0 when I read the description I was really expecting so much less. I ended up building such a giant city that I think I caused the game to crash haha. I had so many towers and there were raider bodies everywhere. I think for a game being unfinished as you stated this was in a very playable state and gave me lots of options. I didn't realize I could consume the trees at first but once I knew I could do that I was realizing how all the systems worked together. I can see how music and sfx would of added to the experience but everything in the game worked together well even without those things. I was curious what you are using to lock the mouse to the window that was a pretty cool feature. I noticed there was a .dll file, but wasn't sure if this was something you implemented or something anyone can get to use in their gamemaker games.
May 8 04:35:41 23m 10s Escape from Hell ♥ 1 very lovely pixel art. I basically just grinded to get super powerful so I easily killed the big knight. But that was actually satisfying. I was expecting maybe something more but this is a gamejam game so this was just right. Had fun playing
May 18 02:14:33 237h 38m The Tail of the Serpent ♥ 1 pretty good. once I got to level 5 I just started doing random things to to try and disconnect a piece. I think I didn't fully get the hang of it but I'm sure I could of eventually figured it out. I liked the aesthetic as well. I dunno why but I've been seeing a lot of snake games lately. I am loving all these cool interesting ways to expand the game. 25 levels seems like a lot of content for a game jam game. Really cool that you were able to pack in that many levels in such a short time.
May 18 02:34:09 19m 36s Dear Substance of Kin ♥ 2 So I don't even really know what I just played haha. I loved the beautiful pixel art. I am amazed how much detail and quality there was in a jam game. This could pass for final art in a full retail game. The gameplay wasn't really that fun to me, probably b/c I didn't really understand what I was doing. But the music and the art kept me going to see more of the pretty beautiful art. I made it a shrine and started levitating and then the game just closed out. I'm not sure if that's the intended ending. Anyways this is truly amazing. I am not an artist so It blows me away to see such beautiful art.
May 18 02:49:27 15m 18s Pucamuc ♥ 2 LOL I hate this game. Just kidding I don't hate it, but Originally I tried to play it in the html 5 version and for some reason it was so laggy I couldn't even play. I loaded up the windows version and it was silky smooth ran perfect. I dunno if it's my computer or if the html5 version just isn't that smooth. The controls were hard but I guess that's what makes the game unique. If it was just like a normal platformer than it wouldn't of been as interesting. I feel like this game would of been awesome to watch a streamer play and hear them yelling out curse words haha. The graphics were consistent and the music and sound effects fit the game. I thought it was pretty good overall
May 18 03:12:59 23m 32s The Trade ♥ 0 I hate you lol. I really hate you. This was something way different than anything I have played. It was done pretty well actually. The presentation was top notch.
May 18 03:41:47 28m 48s Inflate Me to the Moon ♥ 1 The game was short but polished. I had fun playing a wario ware style game. I honestly not sure how it related to the theme but I didn't care
May 18 03:49:28 7m 41s Our Dear Friend ♥ 1 oh boy this was a hard one. I could barely see anything so it made it even harder but I guess that's just the theme of the game. I loved the grappling mechanic the most it was fun to shoot and grapple but the difficulty made it harder to enjoy. I think it's b/c I'm a bit more of a casual game player so I'm not as skilled especially with mouse. But over all it was a pretty nice jam gam. Everything felt consistent and looked good and controls were easy to use
May 18 04:04:45 15m 17s Seize the Clay ♥ 4 I am honestly surprised how much fun I had making pottery. It actually reminded me of highschool art class doing the same thing basically. Loved the charm and look of the game. Really relaxing cozy game
May 20 04:24:44 48h 19m Umbra ♥ 1 I really love the aesthetic and it seems like you had a lot more planned with all the items and such. I will say the sword was the only weapon I was really able to have any chance of killing a good amount of spiders. The music was really peaceful considering I was killing a ton of spiders haha, that made me chuckle. I imagined myself as this peaceful person who just felt very relaxed while taking out nasty spiders all day if I understand correctly the game was just the one area , but hey it's a game jam so time runs out. I had fun playing it. I used a gamepad and it felt like it controlled pretty well
