| Aug 14 01:25:32 | Misadventures of Crowley Flatcheeks | ♥ 2 | That was an excellent game! Dare I say one of the top Ludum Dare games I've ever played. I loved the plot and graphics. I enjoyed that it feels somewhat urgent - what with the planet blowing up and all - but still peaceful. I'm very thankful you didn't make it a timed. A few nit-picks: The rotation speed is way too fast; I wish I could get a better view of the pieces of planet flying into space because it was beautiful; I didn't like how the character slides away from people while talking to them. | |
| Aug 14 01:39:36 | 14m 04s | Countdown | ♥ 1 | Interesting concept, but the controls were more frustrating than fun. Also I died but it didn't seem to register my death. |
| Aug 14 01:50:48 | 11m 12s | Outrunning Space! | ♥ 1 | 5 stars for innovation! That is really a creative solution. Now I'd like to see a game jam where the theme is to make a game entirely in one line of text. |
| Aug 14 02:07:34 | 16m 46s | Spaceabon | ♥ 1 | I don't normally like puzzlers, but I found this one very engaging! The mechanic is very fun, and I like the space station setting. |
| Aug 14 02:15:54 | 8m 20s | Climb | ♥ 2 | home1.png Safe in my new home! This game fun for a bit, and the graphics are really charming. |
| Aug 14 02:26:53 | 10m 59s | Overload | ♥ 1 | killhumans.jpg A game where we kill all humans? Sign me up! 😄 But seriously... Interesting concept, really nice graphics and music. But I spent most of the time closing menus that I accidentally opened when trying to ~~kill~~ _click on_ humans. Fullscreen option would be really helpful, as well as some way to see how close to doom you are. |
| Aug 14 02:38:06 | 11m 13s | Running out of Space | ♥ 0 | Neat puzzles, and surprisingly nice feeling on the platforming. Unfortunately I made a block push me into another wall when trying to beat a puzzle, and I got stuck there. |
| Aug 14 02:52:28 | 14m 22s | Popcorn Mayhem | ♥ 1 | Time to pick a new snack! microwave popcorn is obviously too dangerous. How many homes do you have to buy? How many cats must die? 😸 I really like the graphics, especially the main character, and I liked the popcorn sounds. I wish that the popcorn was a little bit slower, and/or I could jump a little higher. I couldn't beat level 3. |
| Aug 14 02:59:58 | 7m 30s | CubiCo | ♥ 2 | I liked the graphics and you did an amazing job of introducing each concept with an easy level. The music was a bit loud and repetitive, so having a music on/off button would be nice for such a long game. |
| Aug 14 03:06:41 | 6m 43s | Warehouse Mayhem | ♥ 0 | Am I punching the blocks Mario-style? What's my goal? Confused... It seems like only a few blocks were pushable. |
| Aug 14 03:21:18 | 14m 37s | Space Warehouse | ♥ 1 | Once I figured it out, this game was a blast! Buying and selling tetris pieces was a lot of fun. The graphics were perfect -- I just wish I knew what the colors meant. The UI didn't work well at fullscreen and the click/placement was a little off sometimes, but otherwise it seemed very polished. Nice work! |
| Aug 14 03:24:53 | 3m 35s | Capacity System | ♥ 0 | I really appreciate the spazzy graphics and sounds -- very high marks for mood! But the gameplay was a little too painful for sticking with it for too long. |
| Aug 14 03:27:03 | 2m 10s | Delivery Boi | ♥ 1 | Seems broken in Chrome? 😠|
| Aug 14 03:38:13 | 11m 10s | Noah's Help! | ♥ 0 | I made it to the 3 giraffes and 5 lions level. That was a lot of fun, really nice sounds and graphics - felt like a professional game. |
| Aug 15 05:14:27 | 25h 36m | The Space Station Is Running Out Of Space By Crashing Onto The Planet Below | ♥ 0 | That is a really enjoyable experience. Simple but captures what it would be like to be stranded in zero gravity. I made it through a few levels, but got stuck on the bend with spikes at the top. I can't quite figure out how to grab the wall. Do I have to be going real slow? |
| Aug 21 02:08:10 | 140h 53m | Merchantile | ♥ 0 | Like others said, it's not clear what is happening when I click "Buy Small"... Small product? Seems like it takes up space and earns me money after a few seconds, but nothing changes in the graphics to indicate anything. I'm not sure if the Expand button works or if I just need a lot of money? |
| Aug 21 02:31:05 | 22m 55s | Heirs Kingdom | ♥ 1 | I like the music and graphics and concept... but I must be terrible at playing it because I keep knocking down all the posts before I even get started. Is there a way to rotate the wood planks? |
| Aug 21 02:37:40 | 6m 35s | Balls Deep In Lava | ♥ 2 | Graphics and sound were good, and the blob-burning animation was very satisfying. I found the game too hard for my tastes though -- might be more fun if I could open the game full-screen and see farther away and have time to line up my shots. |
| Aug 21 02:54:43 | 17m 03s | As the world burns | ♥ 1 | Solid game! I especially liked the use of the theme and the sound. The difficulty level was good for me; I ultimately got caught in a room with no way out due to the fire, and got 15425 points. |
| Aug 21 03:24:40 | 29m 57s | Memory Mayhem | ♥ 1 | That was pretty innovative and a great use of the theme. Like others said, it was a bit too fast for me. Would be nice if it started out slower before increasing to that speed. But really well done. Blue screen of death was a nice touch too. |
| Aug 21 03:34:23 | 9m 43s | Captain Starbeard and the Curse of the Wonky Equipment | ♥ 1 | I felt like I was confused, and yet I won... so either I understood or it was too easy. It would be great if the power grid didn't let pieces on that didn't fit, because it's hard to notice that a piece went red in one spot. I also would like to see the 3 ship stats above the power grid because I got confused thinking that the right-side panel was the important one. Neat concept though -- I could see it working well as a mini-game that's part of a larger game. |
| Aug 21 03:52:01 | 17m 38s | Disaster at Starbase 7 | ♥ 1 | I saved all of existence! 😄 Final score 53700. Despite being somewhat simple, this game was one of the most fun ones I've played so far. I liked the creeping space-time blocks, and the map layouts were good at slowly ramping-up the difficulty. Some more variety in enemies would be nice, and some actual benefit for the energy boost would be nice (my energy recharged fast enough that the boost never really helped). Not that it was bad, the main character could benefit from a better running animation since you spend so much time looking at him. |
| Aug 21 04:01:20 | 9m 19s | The Fountain At The City's End | ♥ 0 | 🤔 A very unique tale... But as WrenPirate said I wish there were more choices to keep me engaged; needs more interactivity to go along with the fiction. |
| Aug 22 01:34:14 | 21h 32m | Escape from the tentacles | ♥ 0 | I beat the Easy level but not sure the other levels are possible. The graphics are really nice, and the gameplay is pretty fun; I just wish there was some variety in tactics, and some sound. This is definitely a game worth continuing with! Seems more like grape-jelly-blob than tentacles though, no? |
| Aug 22 01:48:34 | 14m 20s | Day Three | ♥ 0 | I wanted to love this game based on the premise (farming) and the graphics (amazing 💕 )... but it was just too difficult and too fast. The days whiz by and the plants die quickly, and then there's no way to recover. Some things I would change: make time go by slower; maybe give a timer to show how much time is left in each day; have the seed salesman give away a few basic seeds for free (so that if you screw up with your first few seeds you have another chance to recover). Doomed: doom.png |
| Aug 22 03:20:47 | 1h 32m | Cluster | ♥ 1 | Beautiful graphics, and a very good use of the theme. I only wish my attacks have a little more weight behind them, and the enemies seemed impacted (beyond their cute faces) so I could tell I was making progress hurting them. |
