| Apr 20 04:46:00 | AAAVVV | Very nice. I just finished replaying VVVVVV on my phone post-humble-bundle, so I'm digging it. Music works well, too. | |
| Apr 20 04:51:00 | 5m 00s | Amidst the Shadows | Very spooky. I had trouble ... not dying. Loved the atmosphere, as well as the voice log. |
| Apr 20 05:05:00 | 14m 00s | Dematerializer Ultra | 790 credits! 100 years of prosperity! Nice! <br/>Excellent sound design and well thought-out mechanics. It felt a little like Seas of Scred and a little like Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, both of which are great, so nice job! And you're right, it is unforgiving. A practice in patience, really. :) I felt that it lacked a sense of progress - once I saw the inventory was scrolling I wasn't sure if I was progressing or just filling up until I died. |
| Apr 20 05:30:00 | 25m 00s | Quiet Riot | Nicely done. Love the visuals, and the gameplay is pretty challenging. More complex than it seems at first. I also love all the stuff the king is saying. Plague is NOT a problem! |
| Apr 20 05:35:00 | 5m 00s | The Messenger | I see what you did there. Very clever. <br/>I'd opt for a higher contrast between background and foreground elements, as it was a little difficult to tell what I was jumping on at a few points. Nicely done! |
| Apr 20 05:41:00 | 6m 00s | Ani-melee | Phoebe!! <br/>I was playing alone, and still had a lot of fun. <br/>Phoebe was my FAVORITE! |
| Apr 20 05:46:00 | 5m 00s | Super Recoil Gun | Wow, that's hard. Or maybe I'm tired post-compo ... either way, nicely done! |
| Apr 20 05:55:00 | 9m 00s | Mystical Youth Amy | The weapon has a really solid feel to it - the sound effects and explosions make it really fun to use. Nicely done! Kept me engaged longer than most shmups. |
| Apr 20 06:02:00 | 7m 00s | Space Cowboy | I love the mouth-sounds! I had like that same wind one in mine! I had a little trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do, and kept failing for reasons I couldn't understand. What do they say when they slump over? |
| Apr 20 16:53:00 | 10h 51m | Randomsmith | Very silly. Basically my day job. |
| Apr 20 17:01:00 | 8m 00s | Clarinetto | Wait, so who did I find in the woods?! |
| Apr 20 17:07:00 | 6m 00s | Absorption Demo | I got the same missing dll error as well (Windows 7) |
| Apr 20 17:13:00 | 6m 00s | Robot Restores Nature | Wow, that was surprisingly beautiful. Love the way the plants grow and change. Sound fits really well, too. |
| Apr 20 17:16:00 | 3m 00s | Squid Gun | Cleverly done. Steep difficulty curve. I like the graphics - the bright colors are very nice. |
| Apr 20 17:20:00 | 4m 00s | Bad and Breakfast | All the screen shake! Love it. |
| Apr 20 17:24:00 | 4m 00s | Charged With a Mission | Had a very jazzpunk vibe to it. I was a little unclear as to what exactly it was that I did to the character at the end ... :) |
| Apr 20 17:28:00 | 4m 00s | The Earl's Owl | I love the way the owl looks! Those eyes! Very clever concept. Haven't really seen anything like this before. |
| Apr 20 17:31:00 | 3m 00s | Tic-Tac-Blow | Cool. Took me a bit to figure it out, but it's a clever design, and well implemented. :) |
| Apr 20 17:37:00 | 6m 00s | Sunlight Puzzle | What a clever puzzle game idea. It was really twisting my brain around. Nothing like it. |
| Apr 20 17:40:00 | 3m 00s | Ballsack Battle | What the heck. I love it. My, um, balls got all twisted up. :) |
| Apr 20 17:45:00 | 5m 00s | Tungsten Orbital Destroyer | This is why we can't have giant laser satellites. Thanks, James Bond. <br/>I liked it a lot. Movement on the sphere was very intuitive, which I could see it not being. Graphics were awesome. I think the problem you were running into with the webplayer is Unity's default quality settings for webplayer, which is set to fastest. You can change those in Edit > Project Settings > Quality. |
| Apr 20 17:48:00 | 3m 00s | Ludicrous Battleaxes | Gold medal! Awesome idea - it really makes you think as you're moving around. I bet multiplayer would be fun :) Also, I like how you're not just a watermelon, but a watermelon with flailing axe arms. |
| Apr 20 17:53:00 | 5m 00s | Cube Invaders 32 | Haha, that last guy was MAD! Clever idea. It was made more difficult by the cursor resetting to center after every shot, instead of staying in the same place (A holdover from tetris as opposed to Space invaders, so I can see why you did it, though I ended up just using the space key as a fire button) |
| Apr 20 18:01:00 | 8m 00s | TraGun | Clever concept. Excellent graphics. Very challenging. A little buggy as well - I moved the left panel in the tutorial room too far to the left and I thought I'd found a hidden room, but I fell out of the world. Also I couldn't aim up and down at first (with mouse or gamepad) and when I restarted, my player was upside down (but I could move and aim, just with controls reversed). Anyway, I really like it. Keep it up! |
| Apr 20 18:04:00 | 3m 00s | Wired In | Neat. Geometry Wars meets ... uh, Spiderman, I guess. Thanks for the epileptic-friendly mode! |
| Apr 20 18:20:00 | 16m 00s | Tactical Module Circullation Device | Phew, that is very tough! I like the idea - feels a tiny bit like Super Crate Box. |
| Apr 20 18:23:00 | 3m 00s | GearTech0 - Daquaris Chadwick | Love the music! That's awesome! It's a clever idea, but with a stiff learning curve. Never really seen anything like it, though. Kinda like tower defense, kinda not. :) |
| Apr 20 18:27:00 | 4m 00s | Stop the Goblin Army | 139! Very fun. Car controls exactly the way I expect it to. Strangely satisfying to knock over the gobpins. |
| Apr 20 18:29:00 | 2m 00s | Beats High Mountains Down | Hmm, it kept crashing right after the Godot splash screen when I tried to move the mouse or click. |
| Apr 20 18:30:00 | 1m 00s | Sss | Clever idea, and well-executed. It's simple, but it does everything it needs to. |
| Apr 20 18:35:00 | 5m 00s | LUV GUN | 4950! Took me forever to figure out that I can move as well as aim :) Love those tank controls. Surprisingly bloody - hasn't anyone heard of crosswalks? |
| Apr 20 18:40:00 | 5m 00s | No Light Without Dark | At first, I killed three, and I was like "oh, this is easy". And then like 40 of them started coming at me. It got my heart going! |
| Apr 20 19:04:00 | 24m 00s | A Bug's Death | I feel like a terrible person now. :) Nicely done. |
| Apr 20 19:06:00 | 2m 00s | Driven Insane | I wouldn't say that he made it to work SAFELY, per se. :) Interesting idea, and solid execution. Good audio as well. |
| Apr 20 19:07:00 | 1m 00s | Eternal Forklift | Hmm, couldn't get past the title screen either. I only had two controllers plugged in, though, which may be why? |
| Apr 20 19:14:00 | 7m 00s | Throw them out! | Phew, that's stressful! Quite difficult as well. I spent a whole round banging on the door trying to figure out what to do, and then I read the title. :) |
| Apr 20 19:35:00 | 21m 00s | Mirror Mirror | Nicely done! Excellent graphics and intuitive and complex gameplay! |
| Apr 20 19:42:00 | 7m 00s | Beep Boop | Wow, brilliantly designed. The way that you make each area impassible until you figure out a new way to use the bubbles, and then you have to use that technique from then on! EXCELLENT level construction and difficulty curve. |
| Apr 20 19:48:00 | 6m 00s | Avenging My Gran, the Famed Botanist | Gran! Those darn shrubs. Excellent use of puzzlescript. and, of course, I loved the story. "Killed, just like my gran!" |
| Apr 20 19:49:00 | 1m 00s | Rage the Stage | same here, the link is broken :) |
| Apr 20 19:59:00 | 10m 00s | Granny Hates Cats | Very funny, and fun once I got the hang of it. I was just freezing them at first, and then I right clicked. SO MUCH CAT BLOOD! |
| Apr 20 20:02:00 | 3m 00s | KittySwarm | Quite fun. I really liked the environment art (love that parallax) and the scared wolf sprite. :) I also liked seeing the kitties roll around crazily after hitting something :) |
| Apr 20 20:16:00 | 14m 00s | SSZB - Save the soul of Zlaya babka(evil old lady) | Where does she get all those TVs? :) |
| Apr 20 20:23:00 | 7m 00s | Ion cannon | Wow, excellent design. It really takes a lot of thought, and the difficulty curve was well constructed as well! |
| Apr 20 20:35:00 | 12m 00s | Flail Rider | Phew, that is hard! Realistic, too! Well, in the sense that your car will be wrecked if you run into just one pesky building. The giant flail was slightly less realistic. My car's flail is nowhere near that big. :) |
| Apr 20 20:38:00 | 3m 00s | Udom Nebdon | Wow, that is spooky! Also, amazing graphics and a true recreation of the feel of Alone in the Dark. Nicely done. |
| Apr 20 20:50:00 | 12m 00s | Loquacious Lepus | That music. That's awesome! <br/>Nice job. I like the bears especially! |
| Apr 20 21:33:00 | 43m 00s | Nuke Whaling | I get a real Ridiculous Fishing vibe from this. Excellent execution. |
| Apr 20 21:43:00 | 10m 00s | Head Sword Ninja | Those quivering legs ... :D |
| Apr 20 22:12:00 | 29m 00s | DAGDROM | Had a really nice Floor is Jelly vibe to it! |
| Apr 21 02:14:00 | 4h 02m | SHiFT | Clever - I like how you use the gravity switching mechanic as a weapon. Wouldn't have thought of that, certainly. And I agree that it borrows from vvvvvv, but I really like that you can switch in mid-air, something I always tried to do in vvvvvv but couldn't. Nicely dev'd! |
| Apr 21 02:19:00 | 5m 00s | Tongue Lash | Well, that is terrifying. Really nicely done - excellent animation, fitting audio, and very engaging level design. The slight cracks you're getting around the sides of your skybox - those I think can be fixed by tweaking your skybox import settings. Try changing mapping, fixup edge seams, and the filter mode. Nice job! |
| Apr 23 00:14:00 | 45h 55m | Gravity Redux | Short and sweet. An excellent mechanic - took me a moment to figure it out (I kept trying to click and drag), but once I got the hang of it, I was very engaged. I could see it working really well as a mobile game as well (tap or double tap, or something?). Nicely done! |
| Apr 23 00:18:00 | 4m 00s | The Warlock | I walked around for a while, but couldn't seem to find anything or do anything else ... that said, I like the walk animation and was excited to play more. |
| Apr 23 00:21:00 | 3m 00s | Butterfly Effect | Okay, that was awesome. Literally laughed out loud multiple times. Excellent timing. |
| Apr 23 00:23:00 | 2m 00s | Holy Sheeit | Controls were a little wonky (I kept trying to move sideways), but otherwise the gameplay was solid. I liked the enemy death animations. The multiplier had a very geometry wars feel to it, which is a good thing as well. :) |
| Apr 23 00:26:00 | 3m 00s | Stop! In The Name Of The Law! | Nice. Very clever execution of theme, solid gameplay. A lost the case :) And is that music generated with otomata that I hear? |
| Apr 23 00:28:00 | 2m 00s | Bottle Bash | Very nice level art! |
| Apr 23 00:32:00 | 4m 00s | Lazy Hack & Slash | Yeah, don't be sad! You've got a solid base here and a really good idea. If you've got the will, you could totally expand this (I could see it working super well on mobile!) Also, set filter mode to "point" in your texture import settings to get clean pixel sprites :) |
| Apr 23 00:37:00 | 5m 00s | It Came From The Sea | That's great. Quite fun. I love the monster building screen - some excellent and funny choices. Visuals are crisp. It was a little hard to tell what was hurting me, but it was very fun to destroy buildings and fire trucks. |
| Apr 23 00:40:00 | 3m 00s | Social Sass | I love the battle mechanic. It's really clever, and all the added hash tags on the battle chirps ... so funny. :) |
| Apr 23 00:46:00 | 6m 00s | You're a Sorting Hat, Harry! | I also love the house name generator. I'd really like to play this as a full game :) |
| Apr 23 00:49:00 | 3m 00s | Misspelled Zombies | Wow, that's actually a pretty great way to teach spelling. It was very tough to switch back and forth between mouse and keyboard, but otherwise, this was very solid. Excellently done. |
| Apr 23 00:55:00 | 6m 00s | Zolf | This is fun. Couldn't figure out how to kill zombies (I kept expecting the golf ball to do it, but it didn't seem to), but I really like the concept. Quite hard, especially when the ball gets caught on a wall or in a corner. |
| Apr 23 00:57:00 | 2m 00s | Street Of Disrespect | Very cool concept, though it made me a little uncomfortable to play. Maybe that's the point? |
| Apr 23 00:59:00 | 2m 00s | Backfire | I agree that it was tricky to figure out how to play at first, but it's a cool mechanic that I've not seen anywhere else. |
| Apr 23 01:07:00 | 8m 00s | France is Bacon | This is really great. Excellent execution of them, wonderful art, and (as a frequent user of incompetech), very familiar music :) |
| Apr 23 01:13:00 | 6m 00s | Snowball's Chance | Woohoo! Survived the night! A lot of really excellent design decisions. Enemies carrying fire and shrinking (and thus becoming harder to kill), the snowball/size relationship, and the snow and the ground getting rolled up - I especially like this last one. Besides the excellent shader work, it really challenges you to try different routes around the level and the feeling of anxiety increases. |
| Apr 23 01:17:00 | 4m 00s | Mystic Stickup | Haha, very clever. Makes me wish my |
| Apr 23 01:26:00 | 9m 00s | I'm sorry, I'm jealous | Clever gameplay, though the petty jealousy plot left a lot to be desired :) |
| Apr 23 01:31:00 | 5m 00s | Ghost 39 | I like the cheery music and the bodies scattered over the floor. The color palette is excellent, as is the art in general (though I could do with more contrast between foreground and background). Quite fun to play, though very difficult, in true bullet hell style :) |
| Apr 23 01:51:00 | 20m 00s | Grief | Nice recreation of Meat Boy playability. Did NOT like the fridging at the beginning - I almost stopped playing before I got to the gameplay. But the gameplay was fun! So, I guess I'd suggest a different story if you continue developing it. :P |
| Apr 23 02:04:00 | 13m 00s | Guide 2 Where? | Whoa. Just, whoa. |
| Apr 23 02:26:00 | 22m 00s | Mortpuno | Wow, THAT made me uncomfortable ... |
| Apr 23 02:59:00 | 33m 00s | Floats | holy heck that gets hard. I actually liked it a bit more than rymdkapsel. |
| Apr 23 03:13:00 | 14m 00s | Kitten Defense | Noooo! Out of food! This was really fun, and an EXCELLENT use of the theme. We're not firing kittens out of rocket launchers or anything, we're using them in a way that is logically conceivable (if not all that probably). Really great. |
| Apr 24 00:11:00 | 20h 58m | Frazzle Dazzle | Awesome. Loved the gameplay - solid and fluid. Tutorials were excellently embedded - I barely noticed I was learning from them. Music and sound effects all used excellently. |
| Apr 24 00:19:00 | 8m 00s | Ring Retorter | Very well done. Nothing wrong with borrowing from the greats. Didn't love the use of the word bitch - seemed unnecessary and needlessly vulgar. Obviously what words you use is up to you, but I was sorta in Monkey Island mode, so I was expecting that pg rating :) |
| Apr 24 00:33:00 | 14m 00s | Bonfires | I wow, I'm really enjoying this. Yes, I'd love to play the full version. Most game get by on atmosphere HALF this good. |
| Apr 24 01:02:00 | 29m 00s | NEG [controller req] | Feels like N+ in multiplayer mode, which is awesome :) |
| Apr 24 01:10:00 | 8m 00s | In for a pound | Very nice. It's got solid gameplay and great atmosphere. The name is what gets me, though. In for a Pound. Gosh. :) |
| Apr 24 01:21:00 | 11m 00s | Armory of W.A.T. | Oh, a gun that fires guns! Oh, I can fire it a lot all at once! Haha, I'll just do that and win easily! <br/>... <br/>Oh, right. Guns fire bullets. <br/>[dies] |
| Apr 24 01:53:00 | 32m 00s | Bribe Them | Wow, that was a lot more fun that I thought it would be at first. I mean, my clicking finger is tired, but that was stressful and fun. Idea - each function could be mapped to a keyboard key, but the game would only allow you to press one at a time? Just to avoid clicker-finger fatigue! |
| Apr 24 02:08:00 | 15m 00s | RELIC | Love the atmosphere and the story! |
| Apr 24 02:13:00 | 5m 00s | Revenge of the Clones | I love the way it scans through the level you've just beaten. And the fountains of blood, of course. |
| Apr 24 02:19:00 | 6m 00s | Bomb bringer | I love the altitude mutliplier. Made it way harder because I was going for 5.0! |
