Apr 28 14:59:00 In Too Deep Couldn't run it on Linux (Fedora 20): ./intoodeep: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Apr 28 17:12:00 2h 13m Layers A lot of fun to play, even if it's a tried-and-tested concept. The way the theme is included is brilliant.
Difficulty curve is quite steep, but overall, a lot of fun
Apr 28 17:21:00 9m 00s Save your tribe! Fun, but repetitive
Apr 28 17:39:00 18m 00s Honey Bundles Interesting concept, kind of difficult to grasp how to do things, perhaps a tutorial of some sort would be nice?
Apr 28 18:31:00 52m 00s Mine Climber Very tricky, ice climber-esque gameplay. A lot of fun.
Apr 28 19:02:00 31m 00s Moon Mole Massacre Not enough content, it gets very repetitive very quickly.
It runs smoothly however, and the music is alright.
Apr 28 19:56:00 54m 00s *The stairs Excellent game, don't know what zedutchgandalf was talking about, it runs perfectly under wine.
I was wondering how you managed this within the 48 hours, but then I saw it was a jam entry. Regardless, nice work.
Apr 28 20:08:00 12m 00s Sea Fighters Reaonsably addicitve and cute game. Nice thing to while away time.
Apr 28 20:19:00 11m 00s Yadig - Yet Another Digger Inspired Game Pretty decent game, had an issue where the player disappeared a couple of times.
Runs fine on Mavericks.
Music would have been nice, and a few more mechanics to play around with, perhaps cave structures or something.
Apr 28 20:23:00 4m 00s Light and Hate Very hard game, but very nice idea.
Apr 28 20:26:00 3m 00s Fish Goes Fishing Compiling on OS X gives:
zsh: no such file or directory: ./configure
g++ -std=c++11 -fpermissive -c main.cpp
In file included from main.cpp:11:
./Game.hpp:12:10: fatal error: 'SFML/Audio.hpp' file not found
#include <SFML/Audio.hpp>
^
1 error generated.
make: *** [main.o] Error 1
Apr 28 20:30:00 4m 00s Clobsters Would be nice to see some network play so us lonely people could play without frantically searching for a friend, other than that, my only other complaint is the controls feel a little "floaty" at times.
Very original concept and a lot of fun to play around with.
Apr 28 20:36:00 6m 00s Ben Eath the Surf Ace Pretty fun, no matter what I did I didn't seem to be scoring anything, and the physics & controls were a bit fiddly.
Other than that, nice game.
Apr 28 20:41:00 5m 00s Ocean WildLife Nice, dark game.
The level design is nice, even if there is in effect only one design with a few objects moved around a bit.
Dynamic lighting is very pretty, and all of the resources are done to a high standard.
Apr 28 20:45:00 4m 00s Mermaid Scientist Massacre Cute and short, very fast pace, would like to see more, and more variety, perhaps saving various other unfortunate test subjects.
Apr 28 20:56:00 11m 00s Ghost of the trapped Miners Massive performance issues make it almost unplayable.
For what I played though, it seemed decent enough. Graphics were nothing special, sound less so, there was some fancy lighting and the mood set was very nice.
Confirmed to run on OS X though, if you distribute it with the same run.bat with the .sh extension people on OS X and Linux would be able to run it, since the syntax for Java does not change across platforms.
Apr 28 21:11:00 15m 00s Like a Bird in the Sea A lot of fun, and kind of refreshing.
Nice questing system, though it might be nice to see your current quest or something.
Apr 28 21:20:00 9m 00s Broken Heart Beautiful game. Nicely done.
Apr 28 21:32:00 12m 00s The Pond Easy enough to continue by placing many food pellets in, but at the same time a beautiful simulation.
Water physics are marvelous and the song fits it perfectly.
Apr 28 21:37:00 5m 00s Beneath The Skin Nice use of the theme, mechanics were a little floaty but was fun to play.
Apr 28 21:38:00 1m 00s ShipMates "Bad file length" on web player, "File not found" on OS X download.
Apr 28 21:44:00 6m 00s High Hopes Interesting concept, a little strange.
Apr 28 21:50:00 6m 00s Funzi Islands Pretty fun, music seems to have a glitch where it becomes robotic after a while though, which was a little irritating.
Apr 28 21:57:00 7m 00s Fathoms Nice idea, graphically very pleasing. Sound could do with work, though what's there is decent.
Gameplay is a little shallow, needs more content, perhaps harder difficulty levels.
Apr 28 22:03:00 6m 00s Descent| A lot of fun, smart level design, and pretty difficult.
Apr 28 22:12:00 9m 00s Miner Matter Excellent physics, nice graphics - my only complaint would be the lack of sound, it gives depth!
Apr 28 22:15:00 3m 00s Descent Addictive, simple and nice soundtrack (although short, could have done with a little more development)
Apr 28 22:17:00 2m 00s Everybody Hates Water Levels Pretty hard, plays pretty well though.
Apr 28 22:25:00 8m 00s DownDown A lot of fun to play, quite addictive.
Apr 29 17:59:00 19h 34m Carnival Warfare Fun, albeit repetitive, doing the same actions over and over.
Apr 29 18:12:00 13m 00s It Came from Beneath the Surface: Wormgun A lot of fun to play, in all it's simplicity. Nice level design, nice physics, although a steep difficulty curve. Needless to say, I died a lot.
Apr 29 18:20:00 8m 00s Defy Hades Beautiful visuals, beautiful sound, plays well.
A joy to play.
Apr 29 18:46:00 26m 00s Roots Controls are not as concise as I would have liked them to be, but a very innovative entry.
Sound would have been nice.
Apr 29 20:30:00 1h 44m Octopi: The Descent Very abstract and kind of cool.
Controls were not great, though.
Apr 29 20:32:00 2m 00s Uno The Mind Reader Pressing space crashes the game under Wine (v1.6-rc5 on OS X 10.9)
Apr 29 20:45:00 13m 00s Charly's Psyche Very abstract and strange entry. I liked it a lot, though it got repetitive very quickly. Not sure whether there was much more to it than walking around and smashing objects, which I did for about 20 minutes. People have mentioned finding things though, so I guess there was more.
The web version was a little laggy.

Apr 29 21:02:00 13m 00s Advanced Cave Crawler Fantastic. To think you wrote this using vim within 48 hours is incredible.
Some stat tweaks would have made it perfect. Dropping your sword or shield is rather punishing, and gold is too sparce.
Apr 29 21:10:00 8m 00s Obolos The only complaint I really have is the speed of movement. It goes so incredibly slowly! However, beautiful, atmospheric game. Love it.
Apr 29 21:19:00 9m 00s Animus Robotis Seems to run fine on my Mavericks install - probably something to do with Java version. (I ran it under Java 8)
Images are pretty nice, nice development of levels as well. The only real problem was the "flatness" of the levels: They feel very one-dimensional.
Apr 29 21:21:00 2m 00s Mask Very innovative, I love the mechanic.
Apr 29 21:25:00 4m 00s Beneath the surface Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Can't load library: /var/folders/70/9my2nv792yn72xw4k_5fcv100000gn/T/libgdxross/3741154320/liblwjgl.dylib
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1817)
at java.lang.Runtime.load0(Runtime.java:809)
at java.lang.System.load(System.java:1083)
at org.lwjgl.Sys$1.run(Sys.java:70)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at org.lwjgl.Sys.doLoadLibrary(Sys.java:66)
at org.lwjgl.Sys.loadLibrary(Sys.java:95)
at org.lwjgl.Sys.<clinit>(Sys.java:112)
at org.lwjgl.openal.AL.<clinit>(AL.java:59)
at com.badlogic.gdx.backends.openal.OpenALAudio.<init>(OpenALAudio.java:70)
at com.badlogic.gdx.backends.lwjgl.LwjglApplication.<init>(LwjglApplication.java:80)
at com.badlogic.gdx.backends.lwjgl.LwjglApplication.<init>(LwjglApplication.java:64)
at com.hexa.bts.Main.main(Main.java:15)

Did you forget to package the LWJGL OS X natives?
Apr 29 21:30:00 5m 00s Submarine Warfare I didn't really enjoy playing it. It felt kind of clunky and incomplete.
Apr 29 21:35:00 5m 00s No Hawking Lack of sound was disappointing, and often spawned with about 5 of the enemies shooting at a rapid pace at me.
It felt kind of shallow, though the physics were pretty decent and graphically it wasn't bad.
Apr 29 21:39:00 4m 00s Dark Moles! Very, hard, couldn't pass the second level. ALso, very repetitive and not very original.
That said, for a first game it's pretty decent.
Apr 29 21:53:00 14m 00s ThisDarkMttr Beautiful. Web version is a little laggy, but still easily playable.
Whatever it was, I enjoyed it.
May 1 17:37:00 43h 44m QP : Fix the leak! The physics seemed kind of lousy, the bucket often getting stuck or swinging seemingly randomly. It would have been handy to have a progress bar down the side, and the menu graphics weren't great.
However, the mechanic was incredibly innovative and not something I've seen before, the music was fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat, and it was a decent enough experience.
May 1 17:46:00 9m 00s Above and Below Decently fun, albeit repetitive.
Music is good.
At first I was very confused, I didn't know how to look through the menus and when I started playing I ended up with this spinning dizzying effect. After a while, I noticed I could score highly by running around in circles. Great.
A simple but pretty fun game, I guess.
May 1 18:05:00 19m 00s Epsilon Adventure The game is beautiful, and a fantastic puzzler. The music is atmospheric and fits the game perfectly. My only real complaint is the floaty physics. It doesn't really feel "tight" enough.
For 48 hours though, this is fantastic, and I think it would probably sell as-is, if you wanted.
A lot of fun, and very polished.
May 1 18:31:00 26m 00s Drowning in Problems Quite an interesting entry, and nothing if not innovative. There is beauty in it's simplicity, though it also restricts it in terms of scope, as it's very short and dragged out by time delays.
May 1 18:38:00 7m 00s Dungeon Escape Kind of dark and moody game, but the graphics are severely lacking, as is the fight mechanic. It also gets kind of repetitive. The movement also feels kind of clunky.
The ceiling and wall textures are decent, but enemies feel very flat.
Level generation is pretty impressive.
May 1 19:35:00 57m 00s Fish Photographer Simulator Very pretty, in both visuals and sound. However, gameplay feels rather shallow - it doesn't feel like there's much to do. Perhaps add a photo gallery, and different locations, such as coral reefs, ponds, aquariums, etc, and require a certain amount of points to unlock more locations.
May 1 19:43:00 8m 00s Beware The Balrog Looks nice and sounds nice. The mechanic is pretty fun too. Just doesn't go anywhere, when you get to the bottom it continues on forever.
Plays well under wine, not sure why OS X and Linux binaries weren't provided though, seeing as it's made in Unity.
May 1 19:48:00 5m 00s Birdfish A very interesting mechanic.
Audio would have been nice, it adds a lot to a game.
Water didn't seem to render on OS X?
It became repetitive after a while, perhaps some sort of upgrade mechanic could have worked.
May 1 19:57:00 9m 00s Crabathon Pretty classic platformer - physics are how they are expected to be, which is always nice. Graphics are decent, though kind of blocky. Music & sounds are pretty good.
A solid entry.
May 1 20:03:00 6m 00s Deep Descent Solid, with an original mechanic. physics are good, music is good, graphics are good. Nothing is perfect, but everything is done to a high standard.
Fun to play.
May 1 20:06:00 3m 00s In The Blood Very dark, I like it. Quite an original mechanic, sound is good, graphics are impressive.
Could have done with some more depth, it does feel very repetitive, doing the same thing over and over.
May 1 20:13:00 7m 00s SUBLEVEL ZERO Beautiful retro-styled visuals, and matching sounds. Level design is pretty good. I didn't really have a problem with the controls like others seemed to have done.
If you expand it and add different regions to explore, perhaps some Corneria-esque maps or asteroid blets or something, this could be fantastic.
Didn't really see the theme coming through in this, but a great game, nonetheless.
May 1 20:23:00 10m 00s Deep Maze A novel idea. I loved the graphical style and the platforming/puzzling balance was handled almost perfectly.
Perhaps use less patterns, they were difficult to remember and I ended up screenshotting them at the beginning.
The collisions seemed slightly off, I could jump through the ceiling.
Very impressed with what you did, although more content would have been nice.
May 1 20:29:00 6m 00s Killer Without Color Itneeds some form of music and sound effects. The mechanic is original, but somehow makes me feel bad abaout myself every time I kill. There's no limiting factor, it seems I can't die and there's no time limit either.
The seal AI is fantastic - some more "enemies", environments, and some sounds would have made this.
May 1 20:32:00 3m 00s Rubar My first impression of it was that is was "sluggish". I don't know if this was intentional, but everything happened far too slowly.
A few of the mechanics were alright, but some expansion and other features couldn't go amiss.
May 1 20:39:00 7m 00s Planitia Physics felt horrendously broken, jumping definitely needs work, and there should be a limit to reach.
The selling mechanic was decent, and ore population is done nicely.
SFX were half decent, they're not great by any means, but they were there, which is more than can be said for so many other games.
Music would have been nice.
May 1 20:46:00 7m 00s Scuba Sam Music was well done, mazes well constructed. Images could do with some work, and the abrupt closing on losing was a little unexpected. Some variety in levels and perhaps particles could have helped a little, but definitely not bad.
May 1 20:52:00 6m 00s Iceberg - Beneath the Surface A lot of fun to play - could do with some graphical juicing up but that's a lot more easy to fix than a broken gameplay mechanic. Restarting the level rather than the entire game might have been good, but it was fun regardless.
May 1 21:00:00 8m 00s Beneath The Memories The story kept me gripped, and was very amusing. I think I found a literal "easter egg".
Solid physics, good music, and decent enough graphics - some variety couldn't have hurt, perhaps some old mining tracks or something.
A very very good entry, though. The voice acting was great, even if it sounded slightly unnatural at points.
May 1 21:07:00 7m 00s The Fields Very pretty, although the background breaks the immersion somewhat. Smart, but the deaths were seemingly random, and felt punishing for something not under your control.Movement felt kind of slow, as well. I know it's tactical, but it could have moved faster.
Very impressive game, though.
May 11 18:12:00 237h 05m Dark Escape A very interesting mechanic, yet infuriating. Good interpretation of the theme, it just needed more atmosphere, the sounds became irritating and the game didn't look fantastic.
May 19 16:05:00 189h 53m And the Moment Is Gone I want to like this, but it feels very repetitive and very little way forward. Perhaps if there was a general hint as to how to continue, and more variety in situations.
May 19 16:14:00 9m 00s Not All Of Them Died (And They had Beef) OS X version doesn't seem to work.
May 19 16:20:00 6m 00s Wunderheilung A lot of fun and wonderfully innovative. My only complaint is that there were so few patients to serve.
There also seemed to be a bug where the mouse was invisible after dropping the magnifying glass - this was (temporarily) fixed by pressing esc, wiggling the mouse around a bit, and then moving it back into the game.
May 19 16:31:00 11m 00s Space to go Looks and sounds beautiful, translation could be improved, I guess, but it's a lot of fun regardless.
May 19 17:19:00 48m 00s Black Bile, Inhuman Circuits Absolutely hilarious and fantastic placing of music. Well written and enjoyable to play.
Ever considered writing a full novel?
May 19 17:28:00 9m 00s Beneath the Surface I feel horrible! ;_;
Wondering why there was no options to leave some people be, killing everyone felt pretty brutal.
Well written and beautiful atmosphere. Well done.
May 19 17:34:00 6m 00s SWAN QWOP Doesn't include the LWJGL natives for OS X, it seems.
May 19 21:03:00 3h 29m The Leeway Brothers' Bohemian Debut Of A Lifetime Pretty smart idea. With a little more expansion and variety it could be a lot of fun.
