| Aug 27 03:37:00 | Live On Out | I find the backgrounds very distracting, especially when they start scrolling. I'll give you credit for changing levels from boring to awesome towards the end. | |
| Aug 27 04:03:00 | 26m 00s | Super Tree Evolution | I know there is some kind of trick to growing the plant but unfortunately I couldn't figure it out. I found the details of the growing plant to be too broad and doesn't really pinpoint if I'm doing good or bad. Basically, more details of the growing plant (in-between animation) would have been more helpful. |
| Aug 27 04:19:00 | 16m 00s | Bullet Evolution | Would be nice to get some sort of indication that I had powered up instead of periodically looking at the bottom to look at what had changed. Otherwise, nice shoot-em-up. |
| Aug 27 04:29:00 | 10m 00s | AInts vs Robots | What program did you use to create this game? I'm unable to run the game as it kept on getting a critical error message before I even get the chance to play. I'm using windows 7. |
| Aug 27 04:45:00 | 16m 00s | Enzyme | Simplistic, but that's a good thing. Although, because the only thing that changes in game is the difficulty, the game sort of misses the mark theme-wise. Still, this game makes a great brain-teaser. |
| Aug 27 05:06:00 | 21m 00s | End Humanity! | Pretty fun game! I liked playing it. <br/>I have to admit: the mechanics for leveling up your creature isn't too new after playing several flash games with paying something to get something better routine at each end of level. |
| Aug 27 05:26:00 | 20m 00s | Fend off waves of zombies with your evolving gun DELUXE | While paying somethin' to get somethin' is nothing new regarding evolution, the game is more free to allow you to upgrade at any time. Only problem is the waiting until the next batch of "zombies" raining down when I quickly defeated the zombies. The game's simple, direct, and enjoyable. |
| Aug 27 05:50:00 | 24m 00s | AntiVirus | Seems to work on my Windows 7. <br/>I couldn't get pass the part where I get to shoot. The game is mean with poor hit detections. :( |
| Aug 27 06:14:00 | 24m 00s | Foodvolution | Boo, logging in to google to download?? Oh well, it was worth it. Very fun game, and -- like my favorite food -- I really wanted more! Good work. |
| Aug 27 06:31:00 | 17m 00s | Platformation | Not bad, despite being incomplete. I could sort of see where you are leading with the theme: go somewhere, something changes. I would have enjoyed more of it though. |
| Aug 27 06:49:00 | 18m 00s | Conway's Revenge | "Conway's Game of Life" is so remarkable yet so difficult to figure it out at a glance. At least this version is more free to try things out. |
| Aug 27 19:25:00 | 12h 36m | Mutate Now! | I sort of had troubles trying to figure out how to play at the start. After finally getting the idea, the game turned out quite enjoyable. Funny humor too. |
| Aug 27 19:32:00 | 7m 00s | Graphics are overrated | I couldn't download. |
| Aug 27 19:42:00 | 10m 00s | Virus Mr Smith | The game has a nice idea to clone yourself and control the clones to reach challenging obstacles. <br/>Having the editor to work while you play is a neat idea; just it needs tweaking to prevent cheating. Maybe have a limit of the blocks to create or taking existing blocks and place them somewhere else? |
| Aug 27 20:11:00 | 29m 00s | the Evolution from zx81 | I like the game play in a retro way. (Dating to the Atari ages.) Challenging, but it is a good challenge. |
| Aug 27 20:14:00 | 3m 00s | Probes of fury | I got a title screen and then a blank light-blue screen. <br/>I'm using Windows 7 64bit |
| Aug 27 20:33:00 | 19m 00s | Morph, Virus, Morph! | Controls are very sluggish, making itself a challenge for the game. Still a nice concept. |
| Aug 27 20:34:00 | 1m 00s | Egocell jam | Download links are broken. :( |
| Aug 27 22:01:00 | 1h 27m | Dr. X's Rainbow Arena | Would have been nice to play using the keyboard in mouse. Otherwise, after finding the right controller, the game's pretty fun. |
| Aug 27 22:27:00 | 26m 00s | The Silver Spire | Very fun game. Hit detection is a bit off, but considering the game is simple and forgiving, I can let that slide. That one item underwater cannot be eaten. If that was your way for putting an end to the game, you sir are a tease! Lol. Good work on the game! |
| Aug 27 22:50:00 | 23m 00s | Beyond The Lava | Installation is such a pain. :( |
| Aug 27 22:52:00 | 2m 00s | Operation Tek | Download links are broken. |
| Aug 27 23:00:00 | 8m 00s | Space Sheep: Cyber-Genetic Wariors | Really nothing new in terms of gameplay. Although, I do like the idea of shooting "bullets" with "bullets" so that would eliminate the swarm of shooting bullets. |
| Aug 27 23:10:00 | 10m 00s | Paradigm Shift | What I enjoy most in this game is the changing levels. I'm not amazed at the battle arena in the end because I find that too dull. I enjoy the colorful artwork though! |
| Aug 28 00:14:00 | 1h 04m | Cubevo | Magnificent! I really love the strategic and puzzling approaches in this game. <br/>Just to let you know, I did get stuck in one of the trees when I was making such a sharp turn around it. I wasn't able to get myself free and had to restart the game again. <br/> <br/>"Cubevo" definitely have some potential! |
| Aug 28 00:24:00 | 10m 00s | IO VUOLE ZEN | You forgot to program the left button in one of your games... or didn't you? Lots of variety in this game, and that's a good thing. A little difficult, but manageable. At least... according to me, I did complete it. Whoohoo! |
| Aug 28 00:39:00 | 15m 00s | Defense Of The Space Station Guardian | I find the window to be too big for me; I'm losing some important information at the bottom. <br/>Aside from bugs and glitches, this is not a bad game idea. |
| Aug 28 00:53:00 | 14m 00s | Super Robocade | I'm mostly more interested in games with original or new concepts. Still, while this game borrows the concept of "Mario Bros.", this is fun. |
| Aug 28 02:24:00 | 1h 31m | Peanuts! | So funny! :D It's much like the other game "Lemmings" except you can control them physically. |
| Aug 28 02:44:00 | 20m 00s | Curse of Hardai | Very nice concept. Although, the game loses its fun fairly quickly after playing five or more "mixed" rounds. That is when I start seeing the same "mixed" rooms again and again. You definitely need to add more kinds of rooms to keep the game fresh as possible. <br/>One more thing, the typical mixing patterns that I found were purple+gold, purple+green, and purple+green+gold. Why there's no green+gold mixed rooms? :( |
| Aug 28 03:00:00 | 16m 00s | Evolution of the Flying Pinatas | So much candy... I know those red/yellow circles causes the fly pinatas to multiply, but do they multiply from colliding each other according to kind? If that were true, that would definitely add a little more difficulty; just a little bit. <br/>Good game by the way! |
| Aug 28 03:23:00 | 23m 00s | Revolution | The game's difficult. The enemies are sure making their weapons feel more powerful than how I used them. :p <br/>I'm not well with the controls, it just seems too awkward. |
| Aug 29 04:20:00 | 24h 57m | a day to remember | Good idea. Allowing a dinosaur to observe something and then try to adapt to those observations is actually a nice feature. <br/>Ba-ba-boom! |
| Aug 29 04:51:00 | 31m 00s | The Gift/Curse Of Evolution | I have to be careful not to stomp over the very first tree spout; otherwise, no trees will grow at all. I'm not sure if that happened to be a glitch. <br/>I love the idea to explore the area and have things change around you. |
| Aug 29 04:59:00 | 8m 00s | Dirt Ball | I'm unable to run the file core.jar. I have java installed, but what version of java do I need to have? |
| Aug 29 05:09:00 | 10m 00s | Ugg's Travels | I'm getting some serious glitches with this game. The character seems to be moving faster than the scrolling screen, causing collision problems. I hope it's just me, but I did have .net framework 4 and xna installed |
| Aug 29 17:43:00 | 12h 34m | Bachelor Bee alpha release | Just a few notes... <br/>The stats are either in my way to enter flowers or out of view when viewing a flower's stat at the bottom-right corner. <br/>Also, I have occasions that a new flower appearing at another flower's position. <br/> <br/>Overall, I really like the idea. Although, it does get a bit tedious after awhile of playing. |
| Aug 29 17:59:00 | 16m 00s | Evolution Mutation | I'm having an issue of having the main character move faster than the scrolling screen. When I go to the right-most level, I'm hidden away out of view. <br/> <br/>Also, it is very grim for the need to kill something in order to get something. Is it a bad thing? No, but it would had been better executed instead of "executing" somewhat cute creatures. (Yeah, I'm a softy :3) |
| Aug 29 18:47:00 | 48m 00s | Jim's Quest | Pretty cool game except I can't really see how it fits the evolution theme. I know you have to collect DNA, but I think my player remains the same throughout. |
| Aug 30 00:15:00 | 5h 28m | LudumDareEvolution | Fun game, but I had to open this window up so I could find what keys does what. So, a little bit of a learning curve for controls. I like the idea to go back levels so you could power up. |
| Aug 30 20:44:00 | 20h 29m | Flower Farmer | I do have some difficult trying to read the descriptions since my screen is only 1024x768 wide. There are also text overlapping other text, making them harder to read. <br/>I'm not sure if I'm playing this right, but I was watering all of the plants everyday. I wonder if that could be a bad thing. If so, then that's a good challenge; but you really need to make watering easy because just clicking each one is too tedious. <br/>I do like the idea, but more could be added to add challenge; such as over-watering could make them smell bad, bad smell attract bugs, bugs eat flowers, and so on. I know nothing about flowers, so I couldn't give out more realistic ideas heh. |
| Aug 30 21:01:00 | 17m 00s | Build that tower! | It's a little confusing to play this game at first and I can't quite figure out why you need to "build" a lumberjack or "builder". <br/>It does take a few tries to get the idea in full. The costs of something should had been more clearer to be honest. |
| Aug 30 21:07:00 | 6m 00s | Universe Exploder | The window's too big for my screen. I'm using 1024x768 |
| Aug 30 21:10:00 | 3m 00s | Selective Breeding | Me too. I already got .NET 4 and XNA 4 and the game still isn't running. |
| Aug 30 21:41:00 | 31m 00s | Evolution of a Planet | I think there's no more after getting sugar and oxygen. This game is too smart for me otherwise. I would like a better visualization for fusing elements such as a picture of some atoms exchanging their protons. Otherwise, I would need to re-learn about chemistry. |
| Aug 30 21:50:00 | 9m 00s | Click Red, Eat Rest | The game works for me I think. I was able to click to keep the character up and down. Although, the game really spams a massive amount of ghosts and red squares that makes it hard to get or dodge. <br/>Personally, I don't see any sense to this game. :/ |
| Aug 30 21:53:00 | 3m 00s | Intrystious Triangles | Too many missing files. :( |
| Aug 30 22:00:00 | 7m 00s | Mutant Hover Kittens | I really don't know how to play. This game needs more instructions. What do the colors red, green, and blue represent? |
| Aug 31 02:21:00 | 4h 21m | Evolution Redux | I couldn't see much that matches the theme. Although, you did a nice work on your game. |
| Aug 31 02:39:00 | 18m 00s | Extinction Exhibition | It's only fun for awhile. Afterwards, the game seems to play by itself. Even though the idea is nice and kind of funny to play, it's hard to see this as an actual game by itself. |
| Aug 31 02:49:00 | 10m 00s | Homo Vermes | Fun game, but it's a bit buggy. There are pieces that suppose to fit but inadvertently turned into a block. |
| Aug 31 03:02:00 | 13m 00s | Creature Ranger | The game is a bit too hard for me unfortunately. I know there is supposed to be some strategy around, but I couldn't see it. |
| Aug 31 03:07:00 | 5m 00s | Sadistic Sid | I guess this game sort of fits the theme... |
| Aug 31 03:23:00 | 16m 00s | Nucleus | Pretty good game. Nothing too new about leveling up your character through, but the game is still pretty good. |
| Aug 31 03:41:00 | 18m 00s | Neon Spores | The enemies sure can populate very quickly. Of course, I <br/>The controls for the ship is a bit slippery, but I guess it's all part of the challenge. <br/>Still would have been nice to have an actual ending. |
| Aug 31 04:03:00 | 22m 00s | At First Glance | Nice story and game. I guess you were trying to make levels more complex as the climax in the story (or love) gets complex. Otherwise, it suits the evolution theme to me. |
| Aug 31 04:14:00 | 11m 00s | Platformer Evolution | I can't really see how this fits to the theme in terms of change. While the levels do change, that is too much of a cliche to count as something evolving. Don't get me wrong, the game's fine, but the game's unforgiving when I lose. |
| Aug 31 04:17:00 | 3m 00s | Super Ultra Mega Brain Adventure Saga of Ultimate Destruction | Cool game. I like how you can program your character to move. |
| Aug 31 04:40:00 | 23m 00s | Robot Build Fight! | Cool idea. It's just that it's confusing and it could have been better represented. I keep on forgetting what's input/output and which robot is me. :/ |
| Aug 31 05:56:00 | 1h 16m | Doyle Kane and the Hat of Elements | It's not all bad. The idea for using your weapons is very nice. The idea for using them often to level up is actually awesome. |
| Aug 31 06:11:00 | 15m 00s | Unstable Planet | While I'm fascinated with the alterations of the same level, the game does loses its fun quickly. I was looking for something with a little more action and variety instead of wall jumping through the same -- yet slightly altered -- areas again and again. |
| Sep 4 03:04:00 | 92h 53m | The Evolution of Cthulhu | Nothing new toward concept. At least the game is enjoyable after the first time playing. Was this game supposed to have online players? |
| Sep 4 03:32:00 | 28m 00s | Karl | I'll give you points for funny dialogues :D |
| Sep 7 03:35:00 | 72h 03m | Escaping Ludum | Nice try, considering this is your first time participating. To be honest, I don't see anything relating to "evolution". If there is, I couldn't find it since the game is too hard; the life system isn't working properly. |
| Sep 7 03:41:00 | 6m 00s | LimiT | Cool idea. I'm hoping for a bigger area to find more food so I don't have to wander around the same area constantly. Otherwise, I could see some great potential with this work. |
| Sep 7 03:52:00 | 11m 00s | Garbage Man: Return to Earth [HD] | It takes patience to get the feel of the controls. I had some frustrations with it at first. Afterwards, the game was fun for awhile, almost like "Katamari" except you needed important items. |
| Sep 7 04:00:00 | 8m 00s | Involucion | I had to keep checking back on what the three bars suppose to represent. Definitely a nice simulation game after you resolve some of the flaws that most users had provided already. |
| Sep 7 04:09:00 | 9m 00s | Shape of Evolution | First, the first level is boring. Having to use the same weapon to defeat the x's after one minute becomes too much of a chore. <br/>Second, there should be a way to switch weapons. <br/>Third, an idea to recover after a short period of time would be more helpful during later rounds. <br/>Overall, nice game. |
| Sep 7 04:19:00 | 10m 00s | Virus Evolution | I'll give you bonus points for retro DOS feeling with the ASCII characters. :} <br/>Game-wise: after fiddling with the options, the game feels like it can be played forever unless you set the viruses to stay within the bounds. <br/>I wonder if the sounds produced in the game could be played with the PC Speaker? |
| Sep 7 15:33:00 | 11h 14m | Evolution Revolution | There should be clearer instructions about playing this game. I know you use space to fire and move with WASD after finding out the arrow keys does not work. <br/>By the way, what does the blue bar represent? |
| Sep 7 22:04:00 | 6h 31m | Mutate? Exterminate! | The game does get too chaotic after 1/2 minute or so. I would have enjoyed the game better if it weren't for the confusing control mechanic. I would like to aim to where my mouse cursor is at as I move and shoot. Instead, the cannon seems to only turn when I move the mouse; which happens to feel awkward. One more thing: Why no autofire?? :( <br/>The game does have what it takes to make it fun to play, but the controls needs to be more fluid and tight. Oh, and bonus points for humor on the "sexual reproduction." |
| Sep 12 02:50:00 | 100h 46m | EvoBlob | Niiice! Great idea to turn your blob into anything it "touches." Okay, the blob eats them, so I won't feel to sympathetic. <br/>In addition, that's awesome that the whole family pitched in towards developing the game. |
| Sep 12 03:00:00 | 10m 00s | Land of Piiu | The fun drains way after playing the game for the few minutes as the repetitiveness pursued. The enemies don't appear that often and the scrolling seems to be too slow for me. |
| Sep 12 03:16:00 | 16m 00s | Worm | Unfortunately, I really don't understand the game. :( This is one of those games where a tutorial would definitely show how to play the game properly. However, I do say there are some logic to this game, but again, it is hard to see that. |
| Sep 12 03:23:00 | 7m 00s | Cell War | Nice concept none of the less. |
| Sep 12 03:33:00 | 10m 00s | Space evolution | I liked the game's concept, but it just seems impossible to play it correctly. I kept on losing after placing a few buildings. Money was always the issue for losing and I have no idea how to make money when I'm losing money for doing nothing. |
| Sep 12 03:47:00 | 14m 00s | Neanderthalis | The interface is confusing. I was pressing semi-randomly to get things working and craft a few things. <br/>The game's idea is fine, but needs more. |
| Sep 12 03:58:00 | 11m 00s | Tower of Babble | LoLz. I love how you use l33t 2 solve puzzlez. I do see how this fits the evolution theme after looking hard at your game. The more answers you solve, the more l33t it get5. |
| Sep 12 04:07:00 | 9m 00s | Glob Experiments | When I get circles to grow too big that it covers the entire game, I must have been doing something wrong heh. <br/>I'm not sure if setting negative values is part of the game. <br/>Cool idea though, but there should be an objective as well as a tutorial. |
| Sep 12 04:23:00 | 16m 00s | Glider Drop | I like the challenge on keeping the blocks populated. What I feared on for this game is what happens next after I get the maximum score. Would I play it again after that? Maybe not, so it would be ideal to think of some more challenges while keeping the game's original concept. <br/> <br/>While it will going to take me some time to learn some strategy on reproducing the red blocks, I'm hoping for tutorials to teach me the basics in the future. |
| Sep 14 20:58:00 | 64h 35m | ReConstitution Hill | While I really like the idea for moving around on the map, this game was hard to have fun for one reason: the game's camera view. The camera really hates me. When I'm shooting, it tends to say "eff you, I'm turning this way so I can make you mad!" Controls are okay, but I find it awkward to hold down shift while I move with WASD. I kind of wished the bullets were a bit more lethal. |
| Sep 14 21:02:00 | 4m 00s | evolutionalpha | Hmm... can you explain how you play this game? I can move, shoot, and take control of the creature that I hit, but I don't see the concept. |
| Sep 14 21:14:00 | 12m 00s | Kitten Evolution | I'm only going to rate based on your actual level design. After playing several custom ZZT levels, this is incredibly basic at best. Sure, there are some unique interactions such as the gate, catching butterflies, and knocking over plants (I think), but they are not enough to make this stand alone. <br/>Meanwhile, I'm looking VERY HARD to find something relating to evolution. While I found the texts saying "you are a kitten" to "you are a tiger", I find that rather effortless. <br/> <br/>Just to clear things out, I do like to see ZZT levels, but the levels needs to be A LOT more unique. |
| Sep 14 21:24:00 | 10m 00s | Just a Theory | I do find going back and forth a bit tedious, thus diminishing the fun factor considerably. I like how the game gets progressively difficult after collecting more notes. Also, I dig a few humor after collecting those notes. |
| Sep 14 21:29:00 | 5m 00s | Only The Fittest Shall Survive | Nice try, keep up the good work. |
| Sep 14 21:41:00 | 12m 00s | RPS Evolution | I really think this uses the rock-paper-scissors format; except you have colors. I find this game enjoyable after learning how to play. VERY trippy colors I may add! |
| Sep 14 21:47:00 | 6m 00s | Belle | Shame :( I wanted to give this a try. |
| Sep 14 21:53:00 | 6m 00s | EvoRVB | Controls are delayed a bit, which made the game a tad difficult to win. I do like the idea for powering-up by overlapping moving... dogs? (Using my imagination.) I suppose petting those dogs would make you better, heh. :) |
| Sep 14 22:03:00 | 10m 00s | Darwin's Island | I do see enemies that act differently each time I restart the game. I wonder if that was how you made the game work? Otherwise, it is a cool idea to have enemies of different attributes appear at those same spots. |
| Sep 17 01:08:00 | 51h 05m | Lab (R)Evolution | I like how the maze changes from time to time. Thankfully, when I get impatient, I can just tear down the walls with the space bar; but that would make the game too easy. A limit of how many times you could break the wall would be idea. <br/>Good thing you have enemies in this game, but they need to be a bit tougher. Maybe allow them to break through walls as well when they go against a wall for a few seconds? <br/>Good game overall! |
| Sep 17 01:25:00 | 17m 00s | Mech attack | Obviously too influenced in Minecraft, but I will try to be fair. (FYI, I was wondering if I would see a creeper in it. :/) While I do see some changes in level design, that only occurs when I start a new game. The dragon fight is just too hard, so I didn't bother. I find the music to be humorous, but I'm guessing that wasn't intentional. <br/>Nice try game-wise, but I'm looking for something more different. |
| Sep 17 01:35:00 | 10m 00s | Dungeon Thingy (Unfinished) | This kind of game is not really new compared to other rogue-like games. Actually, I think all rogue-like games are like that. :p <br/>Anyhow, it's a shame that you couldn't add more, but your game was nice to play for a while. |
| Sep 17 01:47:00 | 12m 00s | Darwin Fitotherapy | Heh, the game is a bit silly, but it was fun to play! |
| Sep 17 02:00:00 | 13m 00s | Catching Life | Short and sweet. After learning how to play the game, the game turns out to be simple. I like the idea on building your rocket base and then lift-off to the nearest planet. |
| Sep 17 02:14:00 | 14m 00s | survival of the fittest | I find that I'm playing the freezing level more often than any-other levels. I believe there are only three in total. I find the punches to be useless as it doesn't do any damage to your enemies. Although, I do see the health-bar drop at some cases. I take it that if your animal isn't adapted to the level they lose health, right? Otherwise, good job with the game, but it definitely needs more entertainment. |
| Sep 18 00:26:00 | 22h 12m | Megavolve | I sort of get the evolution theme: the guns power up then you move to the next level. Obviously the game is influenced by Megaman, which is not bad IMO. I would like to see new things through and the powering up the gun doesn't seem new to me. Still a good game to play. |
| Sep 18 00:42:00 | 16m 00s | Dinolution | The controls should be a bit more responsive, but this is a very nice game to say the least! |
| Sep 18 00:55:00 | 13m 00s | Parthenogenesis | The food is a bit of a pain to get since it tends to speed up as it gets near me. :/ <br/>Nice idea for the game however. |
