Apr 24 15:49:00 Eye Quest Nice music and visuals. I spent forever turning all the fruits red :(
Apr 24 15:59:00 10m 00s Lililput Gets quite hard quite fast, but love the music and visuals.
Apr 25 05:04:00 13h 05m Little City Loved every second of it.
Apr 25 05:17:00 13m 00s Circuit Enjoyed the minimalism.
Apr 25 05:43:00 26m 00s ZUNZANDA Really fantastic presentation. Great music, story, dialog. Gameplay was fun, but the penalty for dying was too high. Pacing would've been ok if I could just restart the current wave.
Apr 25 05:55:00 12m 00s Castaways Like missile command, but actually fun.
Apr 25 09:23:00 3h 28m Stupid Ants I liked the concept, but the best move was always just to remove all the boxes and let them roam free.
Apr 25 09:56:00 33m 00s Survivor The hitbox is brutal but I couldn't stop playing.
Apr 25 10:02:00 6m 00s Dr. Biology's Educational Game Nice puzzle mechanic. Gets quite hard really fast though.
Apr 25 10:16:00 14m 00s Recluse Fantastically clever.
Apr 25 10:33:00 17m 00s There is a Picture Totally captivating. Nice work guys.
Apr 25 11:36:00 1h 03m Short Life in a Box Really impressed with how interesting it was to play even with such basic visuals. The progression, discovery, and opening-up as you gain new abilities was perfect.
Apr 25 11:55:00 19m 00s Lonely Hated Rock Love the visuals and animations. Gameplay was almost too frantic, but I had fun.
Apr 25 12:21:00 26m 00s Microscopia Brilliant concept. So simple and engaging.
Apr 25 13:25:00 1h 04m Cows and Stuff Not gonna lie. I laughed.
Apr 25 16:40:00 3h 15m The Two of Us Really nice art. Dig the color palette.
Apr 25 17:11:00 31m 00s Moon Base Controls were a little tough, but the concept is nice and the art/animation is very charming. Nailed the theme.
Apr 26 04:40:00 11h 29m Creature Collect Like the visuals and the way the tutorials are done. Controls were a little too sensitive.
Apr 26 04:45:00 5m 00s boing SMASH Had fun playing as both characters. Pretty tough when player 2 is on the left side :)
Apr 26 04:53:00 8m 00s Rally Mites Feels unfinished, but the graphics and music are quite nice. I also got the PNG error, but it loaded and played fine (OSX). <br/> <br/>Thu Apr 26 13:48:37 JST 2012 WARN:class org.newdawn.slick.opengl.PNGImageData failed to read the data <br/>java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Unsupported format for this image <br/>...
Apr 26 05:08:00 15m 00s Rockland The slow reloading was confusing, especially without sounds. And the rock ammo HUD reads backwards to me. The X stands out more than the grey square. Finally, I expected hiding the hole would prevent the birds from stealing, but it had no effect. <br/> <br/>Visuals were cute though and I liked the intro text. No problem running on OSX.
Apr 26 05:13:00 5m 00s Mini Marauders! Wow that's hard. Spawned in a tree once. I liked the simplicity though and it does have a nice frantic feel.
Apr 26 05:19:00 6m 00s Tiny Religion If you're interested in supporting other platforms with C#, look into Mono: http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page <br/> <br/>It's not XNA, but there may be other cross-platform .net game frameworks.
Apr 26 05:24:00 5m 00s Epic Robot Battle For Territory I also played single-player. Some sounds and AI would really help. I like how you use the city's people as a health indicator. Very rewarding to knock them all out.
Apr 26 05:42:00 18m 00s T in Y World Fantastic music and really fun puzzle gameplay. Loved it.
Apr 26 05:53:00 11m 00s Tiny Flat Not much of a game, but the art is great and dialog funny. Compo version didn't run on VMware due to fullscreen setting, but post-mortem windowed version was ok.
Apr 26 05:58:00 5m 00s Micro World Very basic gameplay but it was fun enough to replay until I completed it. I appreciate that there's a goal I'm working towards as opposed to just playing until I die.
Apr 26 07:35:00 1h 37m tr-3012 Audio is crackly on OSX. Interesting idea extracting gameplay out of a sequencer, but it's not much of a game at the moment.
Apr 26 07:49:00 14m 00s Ok...Now this is akward! Great dialog, great story, great art. Not much gameplay, but still fun. Nice work.
Apr 26 08:14:00 25m 00s The World in a Bottle Quite impressive with the two game modes. The bottle mode is especially clever, but I wasn't able to do much of anything useful there. Love the art.
Apr 26 08:23:00 9m 00s The Tiny World of Buzz Some explanation of the controls and the objective (in-game) would be nice. Also, dying or completing the objective just freezes up confusingly.
Apr 26 08:35:00 12m 00s Desire Clever puzzle concept, but too many squares for one board. It's hard to keep track of what everybody wants with so many people. Always-visible icons depicting desires might help. <br/>At some point I started dropping people randomly and found my scores were at least as good as when I considered each placement carefully. <br/>Nice artwork. Worked fine on OSX Lion.
Apr 26 08:39:00 4m 00s All That Are Lost Will Be Found Nice moody visuals. Love the wall climbing. Got cornered fairly quickly by the enemies.
Apr 26 08:50:00 11m 00s Tiny World! Fun little platformer with solid controls. I enjoyed exploring. Would've liked some way to see what keys/coins I had. Great pixel art.
Apr 26 09:02:00 12m 00s Earth Evacuation Really wanted to see some short descriptions for the buildings before buying. Some buildings replenish some stats, but it's not clear which does what, or why. Also I think it could benefit from showing current stats separately from cost stats. <br/> <br/>Visuals were nice and I like the upgrade paths for each building. Had fun playing for a bit but didn't manage to get enough houses in the end.
Apr 26 09:09:00 7m 00s Good Cell, Bad Cell Like others, I had no idea who was good or bad and couldn't quite work out what was happening with the cells. The firing delay was interesting, but the cells move so slowly I didn't need to compensate. Ran fine on OSX Lion.
Apr 26 09:13:00 4m 00s Predicament Amazing pixel art and charming story. Nice work.
Apr 26 09:28:00 15m 00s My Little Planetoid I liked the simplicity and the visuals fit well. The progression is also well done; it was really satisfying to have all those satellites flying around. Biggest annoyance was the world rotation while mousing over the ui.
Apr 26 09:37:00 9m 00s Interplanetary Rescue Interesting concept with the intermingling gravity. Was pretty hard to rescue the people though. Mostly they just zoom right into a nearby planet.
Apr 26 09:46:00 9m 00s Incredible Story of All Living Things Took me some time to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. Still not quite sure. There's really not enough feedback. Didn't work in Safari (OSX), but worked ok in Chrome.
Apr 26 09:50:00 4m 00s Planet Trot Pretty basic gameplay but I really like the look of this one. Great presentation. Nice job on getting the 2D assets to look and feel so 3D.
Apr 26 10:05:00 15m 00s microchip Nice glitch aesthetic and fantastic graphics. Locks up Safari at intervals (OSX) but works fine in Chrome.
Apr 26 14:12:00 4h 07m Extensionism Wow, very nice puzzle mechanics. Visuals were perfect.
Apr 26 14:19:00 7m 00s Tiny Toy Nice music and mood. I wasn't able to understand the mechanics but won by pure chance.
Apr 27 05:08:00 14h 49m Away from Home Surprisingly fun despite the wonky controls and lack of in-game instruction. I also had no idea about the plants until re-reading this entry text and still don't know what use they are. I missed one of the parts somewhere and was sufficiently stuck on many planets to give up. The structure of visiting planets from your ship is nice though.
Apr 27 05:13:00 5m 00s Nanonaut Nice pixel art and great audio. Controls drove me a little nuts though. Can't fire while moving and when turning, he always takes a step forward so you can't turn in place.
Apr 27 05:33:00 20m 00s Lost Expected more LD games to use this aesthetic honestly, but yours is the first I've seen this time. I'm a total sucker for this minimalist style so I enjoyed it. The collection/switch/key aspects also made it more interesting than similar games which are mostly about exploration. Nice work.
Apr 27 05:45:00 12m 00s Niña Nueve Lovely pixel art and really nice mechanics.
Apr 27 06:02:00 17m 00s Tiny World Adventure Nice retro aesthetic. Wouldn't mind playing many more levels in this style.
Apr 28 04:26:00 22h 24m Imuno Didn't run in Safari or Chrome, just shows a black box (OSX Lion). Gets farther in Firefox, but on Level 2 clicking the "CLICK HERE --&gt;" green square does nothing. Looks like it could be fun, but couldn't play.
Apr 28 04:47:00 21m 00s MailDrop Pretty nice controls for a one-button game. Reminds me of those cheap RC toys from the 80's that by-default drove straight ahead and had one button to back-up-and-turn.
Apr 28 04:58:00 11m 00s CursorVsMan Love the concept. Not much of a game at the moment, but very creative. <br/> <br/>I was messing around with the arrows and got an exception (OSX Lion): <br/>Traceback (most recent call last): <br/> File "LudumDareTinyWorld/CursorVsMan.py", line 397, in &lt;module&gt; <br/> curses.wrapper(main) <br/> File "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/curses/wrapper.py", line 43, in wrapper <br/> return func(stdscr, *args, **kwds) <br/> File "LudumDareTinyWorld/CursorVsMan.py", line 290, in main <br/> stdscr.move(cursor.row,cursor.col) <br/>_curses.error: wmove() returned ERR
Apr 29 04:43:00 23h 45m Cruel space Nice visuals but ran quite slow on my mac, even at the lowest setting. I really like the use of dark/light and the planet transition concept. The upgrades added some nice depth.
Apr 29 04:50:00 7m 00s A Tenthlings Quest The gameplay's not really there, but great presentation. Intros, art, and music are all awesome.
Apr 29 05:03:00 13m 00s Millinaut Love everything about the visuals. Perfectly charming and really captures the gameboy aesthetic. The puzzle mechanic is also very good. Nice work.
Apr 29 05:28:00 25m 00s Crystalbots Easy, but lots of fun. Played straight through to the end. Upgrades kept me hooked.
Apr 29 05:35:00 7m 00s microrail Nice mechanics. Very cool to build the big puzzle from smaller ones.
Apr 29 05:54:00 19m 00s Robots Are Red, Violets Are Blue Loved it. Awesome controls, great concept, lovely art &amp; sound.
Apr 29 06:15:00 21m 00s so small Bizarre story that kept me hooked. Lovely art.
Apr 29 06:27:00 12m 00s Tiny World I like the COA-style as well. Some of the writing felt a bit run-on and needlessly wordy. For a large block of text, pressing up skips the text instead of scrolling up. But as mentioned, you probably shouldn't have such large chunks of text at once. I enjoyed it though and wouldn't mind playing a more polished version in a better text engine.
Apr 30 07:40:00 25h 13m Angle Isle Great graphics, controls, &amp; audio. Nice work.
Apr 30 07:54:00 14m 00s Big Space Tiny Man Very cool that they can climb onto you. Could use a bit more in the gameplay department, but I got a chuckle out of the sun and moon.
Apr 30 08:06:00 12m 00s Block Bros Charming presentation. Gameplay is simple but surprisingly fun. I was able to get the boats to go across land by entering/exiting them quickly. Neat bug :)
