Amazing. Just wish it was easier to see and appreciate the art while focusing so intently on the bars.
This should be under 4k.
Really solid entry! Professional, attractive, and well-scoped!
Very nice look and feel! Simple mechanics are easy to jump right into. Graphics and humor are right up my alley.
Great job on the graphics, audio, and staying on theme! Solid gameplay concepts, but seemed to drag on for too long. That said, I also made a Tamagotchi-style game and feel that I had issues with it dragging on, as well. Tough genre for fun factor -- at least you gave players a little more to do in your game than I did in mine. ;)
Very relaxing to play and a great feel overall. Well done!
I was confused at first, but once I figured out how to get a solid start, everything went well. I didn't ever figure out what to do with fruit, though. It was a very neat toy for a little while. Some sort of variety or objective might increase replay value!
Cute, fun!
Fun and interesting to watch it grow. Nice, simple colors to look at and really nice zooming effect. Very zen -- doesn't require any score keeping. Would have given a much higher overall score with some nice music, especially if it was dynamically generated based on the growth of the shapes; the sounds of a growing city!
Really love your paper drawing art style and music. Great little bit of gameplay! Not sure I would be able to sit through an entire puzzler like this, but if it turned out to be more of an adventure game I'd love to see something larger!
Screen shots look great, but Firefox and Chrome won't run this version of the Unity Web Player!
Really enjoying this one! Well balanced, intuitive, and very attractive!
Very cool to see where this landed at the end of the weekend. Thanks for including me in testing through its development! Solid overall entry. Graphics are pretty solid throughout, though definitely easiest to digest on level 1. They could stand for enemies and hosts to pop a bit more on 2 and 3 -- maybe more contrast between NPCs in level 2 and hosts could stand out against the background a bit more in level 3. Great job nailing both themes! See you at the next meet-up!
Really solid entry! Very straight forward, fun, and challenging. Will share this one with my friends. :)
Requires outdated Unity Web player. Can't play. :(
Great job jammin' this out guys! Music was awesome (though a little loud compared to the mood of the artwork). Given more time for development, I could see this idea turning into something with longer days, relate-able objectives, some cute NPC interactions and background story, and more variety to upgrades. Could be very Harvest-Moon-esque. See you at the next meet-up! ;)
Fun little physics puzzler. Could definitely see this going somewhere.
Very neat idea! I couldn't figure out how to deal with the knight. Ogres provided good cover for the little guys, which was nice, but still not worth it once the knight spawned.
Solid gameplay and an excellent job tackling both of the themes! This is the first of the compo games I've seen that actually made it fun to play with just two buttons (out of just a handful that I've looked at). Straight forward controls, the game responds intuitively to input, and the sound and graphics are clean. Well scoped!
@paraboxx It only takes a couple minutes to grow a fully grown adult person, as long as you keep all of your vitals above 80%. They won't grow if they aren't nourished. ;) It takes much longer to let them die.
Yup, I hate my controls! If I pick this project back up after voting ends, overhauling the controls will be first on my list! Just wanted to say I covered both themes, even if just out of spite for everyone who pushed me into a two-button corner. >:-D
Nice job with your graphics. I like how easy everything is to recognize and the flower animations were really nice to watch. Max score of 74 -- I enjoyed getting up to speed and moving fast! Would be nice if horizontal controls were gradual -- could be done by applying body.acceleration.x when input is held down, resetting that acceleration to 0 every update, and maybe increasing horizontal drag a bit. Always nice to see someone else build with Phaser! :)
I played the post-jam version first, so I'll say I was sold before I played the harder jam version. Great scores all around, especially for audio and mood! Would have given an extra star for fun if easy mode made it in for the jam. ;) Really well done all around!
