LD46 — Keep it alive

Oh, the Connection! by Igor KinGamer 2020-05-08T17:16:06Z

The 3 puzzles in this game felt like a perfect learning curve. Not too hard to make me give up, but enough to keep me thinking. If there were more levels, a rewind feature might make it much better. But because it's so short, no rewind also means no accidental solutions (you need to understand what you're doing). I liked the hexagonal grid. This feels like a demo of a full game.

The Show Must Go On by Jedeen 2020-04-21T02:10:31Z

That was really fun! The website graphics were a little wonky with my screen dimensions and I couldn't get the title cards lined up where there were supposed to be, but luckily that didn't affect gameplay at all, casue once it started I was having a great time. I really think your take on the theme was quite clever and I really enjoyed the mechanics of the game!

Displacement by ryannielson 2020-04-21T04:03:00Z

This was so fun, and a nice new take on this type of puzzle game that I haven't seen before! Nice job with the level design and difficulty curve on this, it felt really good

Surge by loginaut 2020-04-21T03:52:27Z

This was really cool! I think the music was a great selection for this game, it had a nice mechanical vibe and kinda creeped me out (in a good way) and kept me on the edge of my seat!

Ducky's Day Out by Kosmo 2020-04-21T02:28:31Z

This game looks really fun to try! Sadly, it seems that the graphics aren't positioned quite right when playing from a monitor with a different resolution so it wasn't playable for me past the second level :( Ducky.PNG If you're able to fix this somehow I'd love to try it out so I can give you a rating! I think if you enable full screen on itch.io it may behave better. The mechanics made it seem like it'd be a fun puzzle game.

Pump It by Dizzy 2020-04-21T02:36:31Z

This was a really fun take on a classic rhythm game! I like that it started out slow to get used to it before it really ramped up. Ps. great first time with Godot! This game jam was my first time with it as well, I hope you enjoyed your experience with it!

ZenTuree by wischi 2020-05-08T02:31:24Z

I can see advertisements for this game already: "Just like a tree, minus the tree!" It's surprisingly satisfying to comeback once in a while and watch the tree grow because I watered it. It looks pretty good at the end too.

Fly Trap Dash by Ben Toosey 2020-05-06T21:40:29Z

Really pleasant art & music for a game jam. I do like how relaxed it feels, even though it difficult. I would suggest increasing the food time limit if you ever want to make it easier (speeding up the character might ruin the relaxing mood).

DOC+ORS by bixarrio 2020-04-21T02:19:19Z

Those graphics are beautiful, I was already blown away by the main menu! Gameplay seemed really fun but I wasn't very good at it so I couldn't get to deep into it. I was a little confused on which professional to use for which case, but other than that I thought it was really great!

Don't Let the Flame Die Out by Zeta4mStudios 2020-04-21T03:10:10Z

I really liked this as a fun little puzzle game. It kinda gives me vibes of something that would be in the club penguin arcade room lol

Inverted Dungeon Crawler by PoeticMonkey 2020-04-21T03:37:30Z

The dungeon and the lighting looked beautiful! This game looks like it would be a lot of fun with time to incorporate more levels and traps

Planty's Day Out by CitDev Chris 2020-04-21T01:59:39Z

Amazing art and graphics! I also really like the interesting game mechanic that comes from needed to drop the plant to heal it and to shoot. The flying enemies confused me a little bit since they were at kind of anawkward height to shoot and I wasn't sure if I was hitting them, and they also didn't seem to hurt me.

Nightmare Knights by Low Mana 2020-05-06T22:20:00Z

I think the knight bears should be faster than the other bears because it's not quite useful enough to buy. But it's really cool how you're making an army of teddy bear to defend from the monsters.

Garden of Error by Soulcube 2020-04-21T02:59:31Z

The visuals in this game are incredible! I also like the opening text XD However, I found the game a little to confusing to be playable. The main things that confused me were the purpose of the checkmark with the slider, why my aliens would seemingly die at random, and why I lost when I still had aliens. Also I found a small bug where you can buy food that you haven't unlocked yet just by clicking where it would be. I think if I understood what I was doing a little more, this game looks like it would be quite fun and interesting to play
