Really awesome game! First I've given a 5 in either audio or humor. It controls very well, runs smoothly, and is quite fun to play over and over again. Great entry!
Wow, the music and graphics in this game are really well done! They both match up for that "exploring a computer" fell quite nicely. As for gameplay, I thought the BUGSQUASHER9000 handled nicely. The only other thing I would like to see in this game is an instant restart option once you are out of fuel and/or weapons instead of needing to die. Other than that, good job!
[whoops button hit twice]
Ok premise, but I did not think the light gun was used to its full potential. Light markers weren't that useful, and the graphics of the blocks in the light were kind of glitchy in the first place.
Really good game! Pixel art well done, difficulty ramps up, follows theme,. Only complaint is shooting noise, but at least you have sounds.
Build game link is no longer up, and I don't have GameMaker. Could you update it please?
Very nice game! Feels Bloons-TD-esque, but your towers need to be recharged. I would like it better if you didn't need to click on the generator, but :man_shrugging:. Also, I would like to see where I am placing a tower / have the ability to cancel placing a tower. Other than those things, great job!
I don't know about this game. The water and background art style is good, but the boat, fish, and boots don't match that style. The controls are clunky (why does it take so long for the line to shoot out?), the sounds are a bit irritating, and the game would be much better if I could actually catch something.
Great concept for a game, but a bit underwhelming.
It mostly is a point-and-click shooter with cool glowy visuals, but there are some bugs that make it not so fun. The GUI glitches out when you restart, the ghosts sometimes lie down on the floor, and there aren't enough levels to make use of the generator functionality.
Still quite good for an LD game.
There's not even a game here...
Cool style, and cool gameplay! Couple concerns though: enemies just coming in like that at once feels weird, maybe have spawns in the corners instead. Second, aiming was just plain wierd; when you went in a diagonal (two keys pressed at once), the last key you pressed wasn't always the way you were facing.
Overall, however, Ultimate is still a really good game.
Wow, another super-underrated game! I loved the intro animation, graphics, music, gameplay, pretty much everything about this game. Rhythym based games are hard to get right, but this one hits some key points.
Only one concern: I saw Barkley talking on the right while I was playing, but was too focused on shooting people to read it. Maybe a tutorial or slower paced wave could give the player some time to read that first, but I understand that's hard to do in a limited amount of time, especially when there is so much attention to detail everywhere else.
Great work!
Project does not seem to exist; could you try sharing it/updating the link?
Wow, this is a really good game! The alien death sound effect just cracked me up, and the randomized levels reminded me of the replayability of something like Jetpack Joyride. I agree with @hairaz in that this is one of the only games that seems to have a balanced energy meter, so good job!
