Tetformer by PickyDogFish 2021-10-05T15:49:17Z

A interesting concept: creating your own platforms in a platformer is cool. With a bit more visual polish and a few tweaks (e.g. increasing the speed of the character/blocks), this game has great potential! Nice work putting this together over the weekend and well done on your first solo game :D

Un's Table by IndigoWolf 2021-10-05T17:18:19Z

Game made me giggle. 10/10 animations and sound. The movement and and picking up etc took a bit of time to get used to, but your take on the theme definitely made up for this!

The Walls Are Tumbling Down! by zubspace 2021-10-05T17:07:01Z

Had great fun with this. Loved the sound effects and the bullet mechanics. As a fan of TBoI I appreciated the difficulty - the game is challenging, but in a good way! I love the vibe of the game and it is really polished. As others have said, the first level is quite big. But it was satisfying to finally get all of the coins :) Nice work!

Unicycle Balancing by Adiwan 2021-10-09T13:24:41Z

This game was chill and really fun! The mass of the objects falling seem to balance out fairly well on average, so I didn't feel there was much strategy to the game other than to keep directly above the rope. Perhaps some sticky objects or objects with a higher friction might change this, or possibly even some obstacles on/around the rope. Even so, I had a really good time cruising along and there's something really satisfying about moving along with a big stack of objects. Really enjoyed the general vibe of this game. Nice work!

Willy on a Wheel by POBIX 2021-10-05T16:13:34Z

This was super fun! The game is pleasantly hard and the music is great. Squishing zombies was satisfying, I just wish I could say that I was squishing them intentionally! Loved the art too. Great work!

Careful Deer by Beth 2021-10-05T17:13:41Z

Loved the sound track and theme of the game. Mostly ended up just swinging the limp legs around, but occasionally managed to yeet the deer in the right direction, which was extremely satisfying. Seeing the keys on-screen was a nice touch and helped figure out which buttons did what (not that that helped much in the end haha!). Great work :)

Chihuahua Revenge by Grigri Games 2021-10-05T17:23:48Z

The artwork was fantastic. Escaping a bunch of enemies with RMB was really satisfying, and punching in the Were-form was extremely satisfying. It was quite hard to hit enemies who weren't on the ground, though I think that added positively to the challenge. Enjoyed the sound and music too. Good job :)

The Nuclear Ball by 0X_VOID_X0 2021-10-09T11:41:45Z

Wohoo! That was so much fun. Really enjoyed playing through that and nice work on your first game jam. Loved the animations and the look&feel of the game. The magnet move mechanics were nice and I like that the obstacles weren't grid-based. Would be cool to have metrics shown at the end, e.g. time to complete each/all levels or number of deaths.

Banana Martyr by Kassout 2021-10-05T15:12:39Z

Really enjoyed this one! Running up to a monkey and punching it is super satisfying. The sounds, animations and general vibe are great too. Nice work!

Overpowered by njs 2021-10-06T21:05:40Z

Enjoyed this game! The hit boxes were a little funny sometimes, and it was hard to see the cursor on some terrains, but the mechanics were nice and well balanced. Killing a whole hoard of mini guys with the RMB spell was super satisfying. Very glad I played and especially impressive considering this is your first game. Well done mate!

Missed Spelling by Gryhyphen 2021-10-09T10:28:01Z

A challenging but addictive game! I love the music (it sounds like a delicious mix between The Binding of Isaac sound track and the wide Putin meme sound track lol) and the way the tempo changes when you spell a word. Still not completely clear on when I am meant to be mis-spelling words though, as I hit an error in the tutorial (`Uncaught RuntimeError: float unrepresentable in integer range`) so dived straight into the game.

The concept is really fun and I enjoy the fact that you aim for letters that you *don't* want: though unintuitive at first, I think this is the brain-bending bit that makes this game really fun. The retro-style graphics are cool and I think given more time, it would have been cool to polish them further. Nice work on this!

Pasta Run by AARC_Noa 2021-10-05T15:38:53Z

Enjoyed playing this game. The concept and mechanics are simple, and the gameplay is really fun. Loved the music and sound effects too. The levels were a good difficulty and the frustration of missing a pasta square by a fraction of a second is real. Given more time it would have been cool to develop the graphics further to better match the theme!

Gravitational Shift by OneSmallBoy 2021-10-05T16:00:59Z

You've made a fun game! Appreciate the in-game tutorial and liked the sound effects and mechanics. I found the music didn't quite match the theme, but the simple graphics work well and the puzzles were fun and creatively composed. Nice work!

Running Keys by cip 2021-10-06T20:51:35Z

I really like this game! Easy to understand and get stuck in. A simple idea well-executed, with a clever tutorial and title screen. As mentioned, it would be nice if the keys were a little more responsive, and I sometimes found that even spamming a key wasn't enough to get the square to hop to the next one. Also, if the rate at which the blocks fell increased as you played, that would be cool (not sure if this is already the case, but not that I noticed as I was playing through this). It would also be cool if words occasionally appeared in the string - this could be a cool typing trainer! Nice work.
