@blaster391 thanks a bunch! i tried to cut the gun lag down but something was causing really nasty jitter when i lowered it any further. need to work out an issue in the math to make it feel more responsive, but the good news is that it doesn't actually affect aim, just a visual thing.
the crop watering was planned to take much longer, i just completely ran out of time to balance the growth time vs rain frequency (i didn't even end up with time to finish the crop models! argh!) so i made sure it was short enough to make sure everything worked.
@robopossum thanks! it was really planned for two people to work on the whole time, but that didn't pan out. originally was supposed to have much longer crop cycles, weeds taking over your farm all the time, random asteroid impacts (this was coded, but depended on the weeds to finish)... and finished models.
