LD35 — Shapeshift

Panzerantix by CptDustmite 2016-04-17T12:43:00

Really awesome game. Well done! Agreed with speeding up the turn animation.

Günther's Abduction by franklyn 2016-04-18T08:40:00

Well done with the music. Figuring out the controls wasn't too difficult but I also got the right-click issue. I also didn't understand why the shapeshifting happened or what effect it has.

Virgin Blood by bogdan.tana 2016-04-18T10:52:00

Fun game. Liked the graphics and the level design.

The Core by Syldarion 2016-04-18T09:34:00

This has potential. The keys are a bit clunky. I also think you need to expand on the art a bit in order to give your game a ethos. Maybe dumb down the difficult for the beginning. Would also be awesome to see visuals when attachments are built. Also try introduce features gradually so players are not overwhelmed with features at once. e.g. demonstrate jumping, then shooting, then enemies, then attachments, etc.

Yours, Monster by FloatingGhost 2016-04-18T12:42:00

Haha, funny concept. Like the idea and enjoyed playing.

Turbo Transform by Robber 2016-04-18T15:45:00

Not bad at all. Enjoyed the graphics and the camera work a lot. Oh and then there was the amazing music! Well done!

dröm by Danny Gallagher 2016-04-18T10:47:00

Very beautiful! Good mood and relaxing :)

The Shapes of the Druid by BluShine 2016-04-18T10:33:00

Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles. The graphics is simple and I like the level end animations. Loved how things got interesting at Level 6. I have one issues with the controls where they cause me to sometimes overshoot my movement. Was slightly frustrating but the interesting puzzles kept me going.

Rebellium by Anti 2016-04-18T11:53:00

Enjoyed the music. Start out a bit more zoomed out will help put things into perspective better. I do feel tit is missing something innovative that makes it different or have something to do with shape shifting. Still you did a great job. Ran perfectly on Windows.

Under and Above by Xinelu 2016-04-18T08:59:00

Wow this looks awesome. Working and the graphics and the controls a bit. I suggest the player turning not to be so instant but rather smooth. More visibility would also be good and perhaps a few mission objectives. Makes my think of Star Control II with the added shapeshift fun. Keep this going please.

Flames and Shifting by Jordan 2016-04-18T08:36:00

Looks good. Liked the music and the sounds!

Imaginary Dungeon by brunocoimbra 2016-04-18T11:44:00

Didn't really know what to do. Attacking didn't seem to work either. While trying to figure out what to do, the monster attacking me through the walls was quite scary. Needs a lot more work. I suggest maybe trying something simpler next time and work to improve from that.

Endless Runner by isaque.picao.sanches 2016-04-18T12:50:00

Really cool discovering the gameplay. Nice job! I enjoyed it and the puzzles are engaging. I also like that it is graphically minimalist.

A walk to the top by JK5000 2016-04-18T11:57:00

Anyone else struggling to run this? I get a missing .dll file when I run the .exe file. Perhaps I'm missing something regarding UE? Tried both 32bit and 64bit versions.

A magical shapeshift by Berserker_Chris 2016-04-18T07:36:00

Haha, had fun playing. Got to the wizard then couldn't help died due to laughter. Well done.

Shape Shifters by Autovelop 2016-04-18T10:36:00

Thanks for playing! I don't know how I missed that restart on the last level, sorry about that. I will put in in-game instructions and add more levels as soon as possible.

Shape Shifters by Autovelop 2016-05-07T08:17:00

@Freank, sorry for only coming back now, but you are more than welcome to add it. :)

Scevus by rosden shadow 2016-04-18T08:49:00

Fun game and good concept. I always enjoy survivals. Had no issues running it.

Shapeshifting Ice Hockey by LavWa 2016-04-18T08:44:00

Played windows version. Had very had time playing and the controls are a bit clunky. But I like the retro'ness of the game. Just finesse it a bit. The scoreboard is only visible in the first few seconds of a match. I also don't understand the point of shapeshifting.

Shieft by nicso 2016-04-18T12:59:00

Wow that was pretty awesome. Great graphics, loved the puzzles but most of all I loved the concept. Really well done.

Exhuman by Arvydas 2016-04-19T08:03:00

Great progress for a game of this scale. Enjoyed the graphics and gameplay. Well done to everyone involved.

Poly Shape by pabloruizroldan 2016-04-18T07:21:00

Looks great but the controls are causing frustration. I think it will also be better to gradually discover the challenges as opposed to getting stuff like the cliffs so early. I hardly had time to get use to the controls.

Black Heart by luquio 2016-04-18T08:53:00

Cool game well done. Loved the music most. Graphics was also good. Had no issues running the game on windows nor did I struggle long to figure out the concept.

Shifty Shapes by simon 2016-04-18T10:41:00

Looks great and pretty fun. Slightly frustrating getting use to the angle when I need to jump up a platform. Music is great and good potential to grow. The world and how it shape shifts into objects and platforms look amazing. Really great job.

ShapeShifter by csimpsonweb 2016-04-18T15:52:00

Cool game. Try make the sounds a bit softer. I suggest you also work on level design and try to gradually introduce mechanics. I also missed some music :) Hope this helps.

SImple Shift by CasualCat 2016-04-18T15:56:00

Very nice! Enjoyed the concept. Not a big fan of the reflexes games but to each his own. I only got to 10 seconds. So try introduce the challenges gradually so players get use to the controls. If it is to easy for pro players with good reflexes, then try introduce a difficulty level. Music was also well done. Thanks for your submission.

The duck Reborn by TheDuckCompany 2016-04-19T07:54:00

Funny game, enjoyed the different morphs. Was a bit hard to figure out at first. I suggest gradually speeding up the movement to help new/young players get use to the mechanics. I respect that you guys did it in C++ for Windows and Linux
