Awesome.
This is such a great jam entry! I absolutely loved it. The movement is a bit choppy sometimes tho, so you might want to take a look at that.
I'm very bad at this. Nice game tho, with a very unique concept and great athmosphere! Well done, and good luck this LD!
Very very nice! The music is very fitting, and gameplay feels smooth. Overall also nicely polished. Well done!
This fits the theme perfectly! Difficult but entertaining. Good luck in the voting!
Fun game! The only thing I miss is a shop with upgrades, then it's a perfect game to spend a rainy afternoon on.
Also, I got a pretty nice score:

Well done!
I agree with everything @moski said and couldn't say it better myself. The mechanics feel great but the levels felt a bit big. The audio is also good. Well done!
As someone who spent half his childhood playing tower defense games, I must say I like what you guys have been able to make in the past 72 hours! The game is challenging but well balanced, and the turret AI is a nice twist on the genre. It also looks nice in my opinion. The audio can get annoying when there are lots of turrets firing at once, but other than that I don't really have any criticism. Solid submission, I enjoyed playing! Good luck in the voting!
Looks and sounds great!
Movement is a bit buggy, and I'd prefer it if you bind a keyboard key to the perspective switch and lock the cursor, cause I kept clicking out of my window. Besides that I enjoyed playing! The grenade is very satisfying to use hehe
Thank you both! The text was a last minute thing, we felt like we had to include it but had no time to make it so that the text displays at the right times/sections. That's definitely coming in a future update, and we certainly aren't done with this game yet, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested!
Thanks! The text will be fixed in the version uploaded right after the voting ends, and we're also adding music and more levels in future updates! (These will be after the voting is finished, we can't add those features right now, the rules don't allow for that.) Thanks for playing and voting!
@moski thanks for the kind words, and for leaving a review! I'm sorry you had an issue with windowed mode, I probably should've put in a keybind that lets you quit with the "escape" key or something like that, and I probably will do that tomorrow if the rules allow for it.
Future updates (post Ludum Dare) will include menus and such, as we're planning on fully fleshing out and polishing this game and adding many new levels. If you're interested, you can follow us on glowigames.itch.io for updates!
Also, we do plan on participating in the next Ludum Dare jam(s), and I saw in the comments below your LD40 submission that your team Whales and Games is quite well known on this site, so we'll probably meet again next time! See ya!
@logicon211 our intention with the theme was originally something like "the more letters/words you have, the more difficult it gets", but I have to admit we liked the typing commands concept so much we kinda lost track of the theme, hehe.
Your issue with keypresses not registering might be due to too many keys being pressed at once. My laptop keyboard, for instance, can only register 3 simultaneous keypresses. I don't really know a fix for this, so the only option is to type a bit more slowly if this is indeed the case. :/
You're right about the music. Sadly we did not have enough time to implement it, but that will be coming in a post-LD update on glowigames.itch.io/inperito as well as fixed text cues, and a whole bunch of fun stuff. We're going all the way with this project, and we'll see where it gets us! If you're interested you can follow us on itch.io, and we'll definitely be around for the LD41 jam!
@arkthalohs thanks for leaving a review! The tutorial text is bad cause we ran out of time, but it will be fixed when the jam voting is over. (The rules don't allow implementation of new features during voting.) The doublejump is a long command but it's also a very good one, so that kinda balances it out  Also, you will remember the commands better if you play the game more
@versatile-box thanks! That means a lot to us! We're definitely not done with this project, and we'll give it the polish it deserves after the voting round, so follow us on glowigames.itch.io if you're interested!
@roy87 Thanks! we don't have an indiexpo page, sorry. You can follow us on itch.io though!
@wakka2 I don't own a mac and don't know how to fix this problem, but I added a webGL build so you can play the game in your browser!
@natwomb and @wizzardmaker thanks for playing! The tutorial will be fixed in a post-LD update, but we can't update it now, because that's against LD rules. Make sure to follow us on glowigames.itch.io and also both me and @maxwell here on the LD site if you're interested in seeing where this game goes.
I'm impressed. I like it when games are difficult but not punishing, and this does it for me. Also great aesthetics, it looks and sounds great! There is a little bug where W and A didn't work the first time I booted the game but I couldn't reproduce it. That doesn't take away from a great game tho. Well done!
Nice game, I love the lighting! Good entry.
I experienced bug where the entrance to the room I spawned in was open, so I could get out of the map. Besides that, this is a fun game! I liked sneaking around looking for treasure, and the game looks and sounds good as well. Well done.
The snake sound is a bit weird in my opinion but everything else is great! The mood is amazing, and the shadows are awesome. Well done!
Can confirm, the link is broken.
https://itch.io/profile/lukas-harman this user has no posts, maybe he deleted his game?
Can you link us the ldjam page for the other game you worked on?
