Great addictive game
Nice work — the prep felt unnecessarily long for how easy the core was, but everything else was top-notch.
really awesome sound and visuals
This was really neat to play - I definitely felt like a worker in Severance haha. I played for a while, but I'm not sure if there is a designated end or if it just keeps going.
My one suggestion would be to wipe the stats between rounds so you have a new goal to complete. My number kept stacking and I had like 500/80 required, I was able to survive some shifts without doing anything.
Really fun and addictive game. The only problem is the tutorial length
It gets absurd when you remove everything. :smiling_imp: Screen
I like the art and the atmosphere. I would have liked the later goals to be even harder. Great Entry
I really enjoyed this, reminds me of a simplified Papers, Please. It would be nice if pulling up the manual paused the game. Also, I think you can increase the difficulty. I had more than double the initial quota after my first shift. And the way you scale up point requirements will never catch up to a player who is paying attention to the text. The concept is strong, and if you plan to develop it more you can definitely lean into the word scrambling and word ambiguity more. Nice work :)
very nice. reminds me buckshot rulette
The game is really addictive and fun ! After some time, the parsing have some bugs with the rules about letters being prohibited, so I've stop playing since it was becoming frustrating :') Nice game !
Love the atmosphere and graphics. Reminded me a lot of Papers, Please as others have mentioned.
Love games like these!
Made me feel bad in a good way. I'm curious what this does to people, whether it reinforces or breaks biases.
Love the atmosphere, this game destroyed my brain after shift 3
I think it would've been better to have each work shift start at 0 points and require you to get to X points, rather than having to "work" for a set amount of time. One problem with the current system is that if you very well on shift 1 and get a lot of points from it, you can essentially AFK the new few levels and still beat them.
Good game, but a pause during the usage of manual would be nice.
It's not only very atmospheric, but also a cool idea for educational material for non-English speakers to practice. And me too felt like I'm truly inspector
Nice work, sound and visuals <3
Great atmosphere and it started out really fun, getting into a groove. It was really clear what to do and whether I had made a mistake. I liked that rules were *removed* which messed with my head a bit (in a good way.)
I think I hit a couple bugs: - A "deny all Cs" rule didn't seem to be getting checked properly. - My score didn't reset between rounds which made it basically impossible to lose after a while
I think it would have made for a better jam game playing experience if the game had a definitive end after a while, instead of just piling on more and more "letter-suppression acts" but I understand if there wasn't enough time.
Loved the atmosphere and the lore gave a very dystopian vibe. Fun game, but wish there were more rules about things that werent letter as those were more interesting.
