It was so cuuuute I loved the particle effects!
interesting concept, kind of stressful if the energy runs low and your not sure if you find the next resource fast enough. nice job :)
Art style very is unique. Also, those dialog boxes remind me of Gameboy Color games for some reason.
I really liked this game
I liked the style, the graphics. Controls are a little sluggish. Also after some caves, I lost the goal. But as concept I like your intro.
Cute little adventure, i like it! Sounds and music would improve the aesthetics many times, it's a pity they are not there
Very nice wholesome little game! Enjoyed quite a bit and it was very relaxing
Cool vertical maze idea, except I got stuck due to lack of energy. Art's good, by the way.
Amazing vibes! Love how dark everything feels, I think the energy loss might be a bit too aggressive right now it was hard to get around and I got stuck at a certain point without a way to get more (at least not that I could find). But I liked how you told a story along the way!
Very nice game! the art and the story were nice. I got a bit lost at the beginning, but i consider it a good sign xD. I liked how you had to use going faster ability. One thing is that I got sometimes a bit stuck to the walls or the ceilling, but a bit of wiggling always solved it.
@hnkxobka and @deruitda - I'm sorry you got stuck - I'd be interested to know where. I tried to design the levels such that you could always go down to a crystal...
@poshaus - Thanks! I loved making the effect and getting the trail working. That was very satisfying.
@pilarius - Thanks for playing and commenting!
@sasik - Thanks! I worked hard on the art. I'm glad you liked the dialogue boxes - those were something I wish I could have added a little more artistic flair to.
@igorekkedziorek - Thanks!
@jackshadow - Thanks for your thoughtful feedback!
@jester1454 - I hear you (pun intended) on the lack of audio. That was a big disappointment for me, as well, but I ran out of time.
@deadcode - Thanks! Glad you liked it!
@hnkxobka - Thanks for playing - glad you liked the art!
@deruitda - Appreciate your comment. I wanted to give it a little claustrophobic and dark vibe, so I'm glad you enjoyed that. The energy loss feels especially fast early on, but once you get a few crystals, I feel it is less tense, but I hear you and appreciate the insight. Didn't have enough time for testing.
@eshera - Thanks for playing and commenting. I wish I could have fixed the issue with sticking to the walls - that was caused by using the same layer for walls and floors, which meant same material - and so it became a battle between sticking to the walls (higher friction) and sliding up them (lower friction).
beautiful art, well made. it would be nice to have a minimap or some way of seeing places youve already been
This game has a lot of potential for expanding to add more levels, mechanics, story, it feels like ori. Game gives some mysterious vibes. This really needs an audio for full investment in atmosphere
Nice atmospheric game, I went back to the surface despite "there's no way back" ;). I really think that you should screw the rules and just add some music, as it hurts the possible experience a significant bit. If you don't want to disobey the rules, just add a link to some dropbox/youtube to play in the background and just give this to the player as an option.
Can I ask what did you use for the map? Those are blocks or tiles? I feel like you had to draw a lot!
@boboneoone - Thanks, and I hadn't thought of a minimap, but that's not a bad idea.
@deepshark - I agree. Wish I would have had time to flesh it out a bit more. And the lack of audio was a big bummer, for sure. Thanks for checking it out and for the comment!
@hatmajaster - Thanks. Your thought about just adding music is a tempting one, but I am comfortable accepting that this is what the submission is this time around. I am disappointed, but I can see where I spent too much time on certain things that would have been missed less than music/sound effects. As for the map, I created a pretty big tile set, mostly by duplication and rotation. I did 16x16 tiles, and all told, it was 181 tiles, 8 sprites for Glim, and 8 sprites for the trail animation. That seems like a lot now that I've counted... but the basic background tiles, for example, are just 4 tiles rotated 4 ways, dark version and light version, which accounts for 32 tiles. But by having the variety of tiles, the background doesn't look overly patterned, which I like. Less time spent on the art and I could have probably done some audio. Live and learn. Anyhow, thanks for asking. And thanks for your feedback!
Excellent atmosphere of mystery and beautiful graphics. It is pleasant to play. For the fullness of sensations there are very few sounds. I liked the main character. Thank you
The wisp is cute. I liked the abilities and progression. well done.
Love the whisp animation, the fact that the character lights the environment and the idea of picking up abilities from glyphs is cool too!
I found the energy a little frustrating as I didn't know where to go next and just had to keep going back to the crystals rather than being able to explore like I wanted
The atmosphere and vibe is really good. Would have liked a minimap as I was very lost and a bit frustrated as I kept going to the same place I already visited. It might just be because I"m an idiot too lol.
Got the end, enjoyed this and felt like it was the start if something that could be really cool. The lack of any music was a real shame as it would have helped so much. I also think a little more signposting to differentiate different areas of the cave would have helped the exploration.
Impressive work for a solo dev! Sound is definitely missing to really bring the atmosphere to life. Wishing you the best of luck finishing the project!

Nice game! If you add music and sounds, it will become kind of masterpiece ^_^
I think if there was at least music the game would have a great mood. The layout of the cave was great as it easily guided you to where you were supposed to be going without it feeling forced. The graphics were great as well. I wish there was a little more but for a gamejam the size of the game is reasonable. Great job!
