fun audio, interesting graphics, appreciate the level based checkpoints, but the second level is hard, couldn't pass through it. need more easy levels to keep the gameplay engaging. No need to ramp up the difficulty, it doesn't add to the fun factor. jump could be adjusted.

pretty good game. yah Level 2 was super hard. the kick mechanic was okay. except flying up as you do it was dangerous. If the first levels were easier it would be really cool.. maybe there are only 2 levels? in that case great job.

Nicely done, definitely very challenging. The audio and platforming felt good, tough the freeze-frames when jumping on an enemy felt a bit long, maybe a shorter freeze would have felt better whilst preserving the impact. Good work and thanks for the game!
Perfect fit to the theme! Instead of the “press space continuously = two jumps, touching monsters equals death” that I'm accustomed to perceiving in gaming, I was pleasantly surprised to see that pressing space after touching monsters became a way to realize two jumps, which is a pleasant surprise in operation!
The horn audio when level starts is so obnoxiously loud. You probably know, bacause you made the disclaimer about loud audio on the page, but I find it pretty weird, since the rest of your audio is actually not bad at all.
I've found the kick mechanic very hard to work with - I was constantly missing it, especially when falling down with high speed. Maybe the collision is too small, or there's some code that makes it harder when your velocity is high? Might be a skill issue too though :p

graphics look a bit cheap, and took me a while to figure out how to kick enemies  but I liked the physics of the game

nice background music, levels are quite difficult from the start, don't know why but reminded me of meat boy and that's not bad
This was fun but hard too! The timing of the kick felt a little hard to land at times but felt satisfying when you did land it. Graphics were really nice too! Great work!
I loved this. The freeze-frame when you successfully kick an enemy is what does it for me, gives me serious ULTRAKILL parry vibes; so satisfying and fun. (also audibly laughed when I saw how the enemies frown when you knock them out, lol).
The art feels goofy but cohesive, which I really like. Kind of reminds me of the old madness combat games. Also good use of SFX / audio in general :D The only thing I felt was off is the timing for kicking enemies. I think the window is a bit too small? Felt kind of inconsistent.
Overall really fun game! The kick-jump mechanic is just so cool and very well executed.

The pogo mechanic feels fun and fresh, but I definitely agree that the radius feels way too strict. I may have not made it far enough into the game, but there doesn't seem to be a real incentive to use the pogo mechanic instead of playing it safe and waiting out the autoscroll on a platform. The enemy variety is nice and plays well with the pogo mechanic. If the balance of the pogo mechanic could be adjusted, I think this would work great as a full game.

Fun game. It took me a while to understand how to make use of kicking the enemies. I enjoyed the jump animation a lot :)

A good and interesting mini-game, I did not regret a single second that I played it, although there were some difficulties in passing it, but thanks to the musical accompaniment I passed the game with pleasure and a pleasant aftertaste, thanks for the game!
Reminded me a lot of this old game called Bouncedown (video below) - same main mechanics of descending without hitting the top/bottom of the screen. I liked the fresh take on it though with actual level design (as opposed to randomly generated endless levels) and some form of combat.
I agree with some of the above that the timing was too tight for the enemy jumps. Perhaps it would help if it allowed you to hold down space bar pre-emptively - I think the fun in the challenge is to avoid jumping too high/low and not having good timing. In any case, very well done, this was enjoyable.

Fun game. I like the different take on forced scrolling. I like the sad faces the enemies make when you kick them. Like others, I found the timing on the kick mechanic really hard to hit consistently, especially on a keyboard. I feel like I might have had a bit more success with a gamepad. I could see myself playing a lot of this if I could consistently hit the kicks. But I could not get far in the game at all.

This is a highlight of this LD for me. The main character and the game's general energy remind me of RunMan and the gameplay is OH so satisfying!! You may consider giving the player a bit more of a "grace" window and easing off on the difficulty, if you plan to expand on this project in the future.
Thanks for the game, keep on making stuff <3

super fun game. I like it very much. the 2nd level is super hard compare to level 1 & 3, passing it feels very satisfying!

This game is too hard for me , but it is well done!
Nice little game, though I have to admit level 2 gave me a lot of trouble (skill issue on my part). Really the only mechanical issue I ran into was it felt like sometimes my inputs didn't register and I would pass through and enemy and hit the saws... maybe be a bit more generous on the timings?
Fun game, but rather hard. Jumping on the enemies isn't really necessary for the first two levels. The elevator and the spinning blades look really nice and the music fits well.

Nice work! I had a lot of fun with the mechanic of timing your attack on enemies. It was a bit difficult and I died a lot, but nice job!
