The sound design is extremely good. The upgrades add so much to the game. The bosses feel pretty fun to fight. Enemies in general are really fun to kill. Overall very great game.
The particle effects on the enemy deaths were epic! Game felt smooth, only thing is I would of maybe made the bat faster! Well done!
Really enjoyed the music and sound effects on this one. At one point, I got kind of annoyed with not being able to phase through walls during the second section, but it was definitely fun defeating the first boss. Well done. :)
Haha, a funny bat with a minigun! Looks like teleportation does not work when you are too close to the wall.
What a fun game! Here's some feedback:
- I could not figure out how to aim up and down, so the level after 'greed' I could not finish - The teleporting often did not tigger, I think there was some secret countdown which should be disclosed to the player - The music is awesome! I felt hyped up when a boss was comming for instance - Speaking of bosses: Bosses?! In an LD game? Have not seen a lot of those since I first joined. Great stuff!
Very simple but surprisingly fun game. Was pleasantly surprised by the split shot upgrade, actually made me have to think more laterally about how I was using my shots. Also an impressive number of unique and interesting bosses. Needing to use the split shot to hit between the fingers at the end was very clever. Only major complaint is that dash being on Q made it very awkward to press, so it was difficult to really utilize it in combat. Also the text prompts are easy to accidentally skip. Had to press buttons at random until I found the dodge. You can see the guy above me completely missed the split shot for the same reason. But I had a good time with this one regardless. Nice work!

This is a good game, i especially liked the music. However you should've made it so that when you start shooting you cannot change the direction you're facing.
Good game ! I didn't find how to shoot up / down which would have been helpful. You had time to do 9 levels AND bosses ? That's impressive.
A really fun and challenging 2D shooter with good combat and absolutely amazing boss fights! That last boss especially was a masterclass in boss design. The gamefeel was pretty good with the sound effects and blood splatter explosions on killing an enemy. I thought the dash ability was a little weak though. It has no sound effect, animation, or cooldown indicator and was really finnicky to use in tight spaces. But overall, great work!

Solid mechanics and nice progression! Controls are smooth, and enemies not too hard. (I always find these games are made to be too hard, but this had a nice curve)
I was really surprised with all that juiciness that you gave to your game :D First graphics were decent but particle effects added really much to it!
But then I see you've spend a good time on boss design!
I really liked gameplay. It's like a platformer without platforms when it comes to the teleport skill. It was a bit inconsistent and it didn't teleport me sometimes when distance was not right, I guess? I still don't know the certain teleport radius because of different wall thickness. It felt like it depends on a bat speed. Also because of shooting only horizontally and bat was only animated flying right or left I thought I can't teleport vertically. Maybe there you can add more readability so every skill will be more intuitive :thinking:
There was a impossibility of killing an eye enemy with triple shot when he was hidden in a vertical corridor and I had not enough distance for shot to split it to three.
At first I evaded enemies and flied to a level end but then I realized that I need to kill everyone in the level, it doesn't quite look like the bat wants to run away, but rather like it wants to kill everyone in hell, like doomguy :D
I loved your boss design! You have small mechanics but you were able to manage to adapt a boss to it so you need to use them right, really smart! Not only that, their mechanics and their look are really awesome! Shooting teeth, shooting through barriers, shooting even 🤘, that's fun :D
