Perfectly aligned with the theme, great idea, I love the gameplay

dylanbrowne 2024-10-07 21:57

Had to play it when i saw that legendary mat! Great idea and execution

gelsti 2024-10-07 22:01

good game !!

mistagiggles 2024-10-07 22:36

Fun, love the car city playmat. The manic/crazy driving is fun, though it wasn't 100% obvious what the objective was immediately. Once I understood though, I had fun. The (i) page only displayed some images, was there meant to be some text there? Overall, great job. Had fun playing this

Definitely an awesome game!

The setup menu is a bit unintuitive on start... but once I got a proper game started, it was great!

One thing that came up in my game is the AI truck kept driving over a block and getting stuck.

I'm really impressed this has support for AI and multiplayer. Great stuff!

playmat is the GOAT! controls and visual style are nice, good job!

pachino55 2024-10-08 03:15

The playmat is so cool

sergykoraduba 2024-10-08 08:01

It is played pleasantly.

The game has incredible potential. It's a great idea that a wounded fighter goes to those who treated him. Cool card backing from a baby mat. At the beginning, it seemed that I would lose, but then the advantage still turned to my side!

wisstopher 2024-10-08 10:13

This was great! Like everyone else said the playmat was so good. I put a few good rounds into this. I can see me coming back to it  . Lovely entry!

i love the graphical style. the "pew pew" and other sfx are rly cute <3

kirass 2024-10-08 17:16

Funny game! I liked it!

chocolat-endive 2024-10-08 17:52

My controller did'nt seem to be recognized but the game works well on keyboard. I think the sessions are a little too long? But I really love the driving and the physics. Not sure about the voiced sound fx but at least they are fun. :D

Bonus point for the "night" versions with headlights, that's a cool touch.

docgeraud 2024-10-08 21:29

Visuals are really cute, and the gameplay is quite original!

runningopenloop 2024-10-09 06:02

I liked this a lot. A multi-player option would be fantastic. Reminded me subtlety of Armor Alley. Thanks for the linux build.

martta 2024-10-09 11:25

@mistagiggles The (i) page was supposed to be "Credits" page, but as you can see it was left little bit unfinished... :D

@davidsheadgames Yeah first time making that sort of "lobby" so it is somewhat complicated...

@chocolat-endive What kind of controller did you use? Did you press "Start" when in the map selection screen? Be default P1 uses keyboard and P2 is AI. By pressing Start on the controller, the controller takes over P2.

@runningopenloop do you mean online multiplayer?

chocolat-endive 2024-10-09 11:55

@martta thanks for your answer. I may have not understood it. I'll try it this evening and tell you if it works. It's a standard xbox one controller, pretty sure it should be recognize without any issue.

runningopenloop 2024-10-09 15:06

@martta, I was thinking local. Could work if it supports controllers - although I guess keyboard could to 2x. At first I thought you had it, then I realized it was AI only.

martta 2024-10-09 17:29

@runningopenloop it supports local multiplayer for up to 8 players. But only 1 person can play on keyboard, everybody else needs a controller.

Amazing! What a hilarious game - I had an absolute blast. The driving was satisfyingly - but surprisingly tight. The obstacles were fun and silly - but also a bit tactical, as you could ram them into a better position for yourself (or a worse position for the enemy!). Even interacting with the 'battle' was hilarious - as hurting your own men (by scattering their forces) might make for an quicker and easier drive back to the infirmary! There are so many wonderful mechanics on display here - recovering the 'dropped' troops vs sticking near the 'frontlines', the adorable way they jump to advance, the 'veteran' system for troops - its all so detailed! How is there this much polish?? Team color selection? Map obstacle settings? Different team makeup? SEVERAL MAPS?? Yall have outdone yourselves! Top marks! Amazing work!

Really cool concept and the graphics were great. I had a couple of issue with the CPU players gettig stuck and also accidentally hitting what I can assume is a debug button in R and just face my 'spawn'. Love the little sound effect of the guys when they're fighting though.

tomssuli 2024-10-18 18:41

Awesome game!

I liked the controls, the cars feel so speedy and you can burn some rubber when you hit the brakes. Voice-overs for soldiers and even the cars are great and I loved the automatto on the floor.

This is what indie gamemaking is all about! 😎

Great that you have made this multiplayer capable too, have to try this with friends 😁. I encountered a bug where you get stuck on a toy and couldn't get unstuck pressing backwards or forwards. Also Vessa-level wouldn't load. Otherwise it was a great fun and pretty polished experience.

Hemmetin siisti peli! 🚙💨

I didn't realize on stream there were a few maps in the game, but yesterday I went back and tried them as well!

Amazing idea and sweet sound effects. Brings back some childhood memories :)

Unique idea and fun game! The driving mechanics felt really good. ^^

tigerj 2024-10-31 21:21

I love all the different strategies I was having fun with and the mechanics and car feel is wonderful. This was fun, thanks for brining it by the stream. https://youtu.be/1CYe-mjd5gM
