"kaboom" -- excellent. The rest of the sound effects were also cute, but this initial one, it cracked me up.

It's a nice, relaxing game.

Thanks for playing! When @tristan-doell handed me those sound effects, I instantly loved it too. It's just so unexpectedly simple it works! :smile_cat:

Got a score of 21! Fun game. I enjoyed the vibe.

The sound effects with the art is so cute. very simple gameplay but it all worked well. The sign outside of the pet store made me laugh.

Neat game! I like the animal sounds. I think a good quality of life update would be to allow selling multiple pets at once by filling multiple orders then clicking the check mark. This might help players plan out their moves better. Great job with this game! I hope you continue to develop more in the future.

blackcat508 2024-04-17 02:46

simple and easy to learn!

camden-obertop 2024-04-17 02:51

i loved the little audio the little creatures made with their little voices

redoxeide 2024-04-17 03:13

The intro cutscene was so good! All the sound effects were very good too.

I think I agree with another comment in that I think it would be interesting if the player could fill up multiple orders at the same time. Maybe that would grant bonus points to the player for each costumer served at the same time?

I think it would also be fun if instead of "Customer 1" you would assign names to the characters maybe even randomly. It would add to the immersion I think.

Well done!

@merb1000 That had occurred to me, but it would require revealing and locking in the future pet cards. I didn't think of doing that until past the deadline. You are certainly not the first who tried to play it that way instead, so in a bigger game I would certainly consider it. While it would let them spy ahead in this one, we could design the next to allow peeking ahead as part of the strategy, or change the way the hand is replenished. Thanks for the ideas!

Nice and cute game that works well! A good balance in art/sound/gameplay. I played it twice and got 21 and 19 :D Maybe there could be a possibility for more strategy as someone mentioned also. But depending on the target audience of course!

Love the animal sounds and a kind of interesting strategy game, wasn't totally sure what was happening but I learned after the first round and then somehow performed worse :D

A cute trait matching game, and the audio is what really sells the silly nature of it. I played it four times, got 19 twice and 22 twice, out of the 24 maximum.

Given that the result of a customer/pet match can either be 1 or 2 points, and much of it comes down to randomness, the game loses some longevity of interest. Some other mechanic would be welcome to make things more tactical. The first random thing that comes to mind as example is something to influence the traits a customer is seeking in some way, so the customer board isn't as static as it is.

All in all, cute vibes. I quite enjoyed the intro. Nice one!

The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!

Nice entry, special thanks to the sound design. What you had to do was correctly conveyed and easy to use. I don't exactly see the link with summoning but that's ok.

The game is really cute, easy to learn. I wish there was more levels, maybe with harder challanges.

I see @smoky01 is commenting every game with the same comment copy/paste... a little bit pathetic. Especially when comment doesn't fit the game.

Really nice game, easy-going. I like the animal sound effects! Simple to understand. GG to you! First part with a score of 20 right away! (I'm proud of myself)

Had a great playthrough, amazingly matching sound effects and graphics!

ruslana 2024-04-17 18:57

It's cute!

I love the little sounds the animals make, it is so cute. The intro was really funny. The art is simple, but it has some style to it. Overall, a nice game. Well done!

soffu 2024-04-18 18:41

Fun and simple story with cute art and visual, I like it) The gameplay is intuitive and relaxing, good job!

nazorus 2024-04-19 10:08

Very cute game, I liked the animal sound effects  the art is also charming in its own way. Like others have mentionned it would interesting to be able to fill ultiple orders at the same time.

Loved the intro btw, that was pretty funny. Good entry overall!

alzhu1 2024-04-20 04:25

Short and sweet, and a pretty fun matching game! The intro cutscene was pretty funny, and the gameplay is simple yet effective. I think adding more traits/kobolds and mixing and matching could add some more difficulty if you were to go for a longer game. The art was good and sound effects were very charming. Nice job!

zklau 2024-04-20 12:17

Loved the art, sounds and the intro. Nice little game

papaver 2024-04-20 19:54

Haha, this game made me giggle. Cute sound effects with cute pets! I got 23 points on my first try, but only 20 points on my second try. I enjoyed the intro and the gameplay, although it was a bit short.

joeshanahan 2024-04-27 16:34

Super cute game, with a pretty original premise as well! The completionist in me really wanted to be able to get a perfect score, but I guess that's more a me problem than anything else :joy:

joeshanahan 2024-04-27 20:25

I uploaded my playthrough to YouTube, I hope it's useful to you in some way!
