Game looks good, and plays nice. But I am having a hard time to complete orders. Still looks fun. Have a nice jam!
I enjoyed it! It took me some time to figure out that I need to actually click on the customer's order when food already glided towards him. I wish the green thing around burgers was a little bit more pronounced.
Love the visuals, the theme and style. The controls are a bit too combersome, making the game a bit hard to play.
Adding summoning to running a food store is a great idea, who wants to do things themselves all the time. But why am I still so busy. I like the walking speed. Nice work.
I didn't get what should I do at first but then I really enjoyed it, thank you! The visuals are great, the mechanics aren't usual and it's nice!
Took me some time to understand how to properly deliver the food. thought it delivered after I take the food, hard to tell you need to click the customers and I wish the icon is bigger. But I like the idea! didn't get to pass the second day though.
I am really flattered that you guys liked this game. Unfortunately, we haven't done all the stuff we wanted to do. But thank you for your feedback, we worked on it and now we have PLAYABLE game right on Itch.io,
I wish the controls and UI were further explained in the description of the game. I found it impossible to gain coins to progress. The movement was really choppy, but that may be due to the large resolution I was playing at, I really don't know.
Loved the models, and cute animation of the player character. Icons and pixel art are very pleasant to the eyes.
I'm gonna check out the itch version, but the ld version definitely shows a lot of potential for a fun gameplay loop and a nice art style.
Nice reinvention of cafe management game, pretty pixel graphics, but some controls are not intuitional
I was a little confused how to play at the start, but after some experimenting I managed to figure it out. It's pretty fun! I do enjoy a good management game. However I did have some issues.
I wish I could upgrade stations in different ways besides increasing storage. This could be things like, shortening cooking time, or auto storing cooked foods, or outputting multiple products at the same time.
I felt like the worker options weren't very good. For example, the fiend is awesome, but their mana cost is so high it doesn't feel worth it (unless theres some strong strategy involving buying mana refresh a lot while using them?). I also managed to summon a manager once, but they didn't output anything. Which is hilarious, but also a huge waste of money lmao.
I wish I could see exactly what was in my storage, ready to serve. It would help me make better decisions about placing my workers.
But overall I had fun with it, good job! :smile_cat:
Very neat concept, a cool twist on the restaurant game genre. Nice job!
I spent way longer on this than I thought I was going too. I never play these types of games, but I picked this one up and did not put it down for at least half an hour if not more. The fact that your employees are different types of entities that you summon works really I think, makes you think about what to summon where to fill orders. It is also polished really nicely, so I really this entry! Well done!
These graphics are amazing!! The gameplay was a little confusing at first, but once the mechanics are understood, it's fun to play! It's chaotic in a good way
For an update I'd suggest pausing the game (or slowing down time) when entering the shop.
You saw me playing it live :)
I didn't really know what was going on there :) The gameplay was a bit confusing, I would appreciate a tutorial or some more communication of the mechanics to me.
The graphics were nice and functional!
Also sound would be nice.
Keep going, you have some potential for creating games :)
Cheers! Thanks for stopping by!
I didn't max out everything from the shop, but maybe I will come back and try to do that. Good thing you added a short tutorial on the website, because first seconds were confusing, but afterwards everything was clear.
I'm a fan of cooking/delivery games so it immediately caught my attention and it was enjoyable experience. I wished there would be more reason for movement than it is now. In my game I kept just walking in circle passively collecting stuff that was automatically dragged into the counter, and I feel like I might not even needed to be there. Some games of the genre make you walk to customers, to the tables, bring ingredients or clean up etc. Obviously it is a jam game, so it is not like you haven't thought about such things.
Overall a fine game, I had a good time :hamburger:
Thanks guys for your feedback! @haayaargh yeah, much worse is that player had to hit space every time they wanted to collect the food. I thought about adding some obstacles on the ground (like lava rivers or sth), to make the movement more interesting, and also make an ability to cook by your main character, but ofc jam versions always have restrictions. I think, I will add these features in future, but rn I want to focus on tutorial and improvements for graphics: the pixel size is too large, the objects are not obvious and contain not enough details.
Cute graphics, and simple but fun concept! I lost on the second day even though I fulfilled all the orders :( I'd say it may be a bit too severe.
