Fun little rhythm game! The difficulty on some of those were challenging! Awkward resolution for a desktop, but I could see this working well for mobile! Keep on making games

Fun game, haven't figured out how to make perfect ones and I'm really bad at this kind of games it seems, but it had nice touches with sound design and the whole idea of demonic summoning of food items :) Screenshot 2024-04-16 at 22.50.26.png
Ok, I like the idea of high score per summon! I would take this a bit father and made the gameplay for each a little bit unique in some way. Something along the lines that you would have to follow the lines of the summoning circle and arrive to the right spot at the right time. So each summon would have different circle. :)
Anyway, the game has a potential, the resolution is indeed awkward but I do try some games on mobile while..you know, making mine job on WC so I can imagine that in this case it would make me happy.
Enjoyed this game, really like the cutesy vibe of various fruit and desserts. The actual ritual and summoning circle and accompanying sounds really hit the summoning theme very well imo. Awesome job!
I like this interesting idea, if I would be the summoner I'd like to summon some sweets, too. Good work! Thank you!
Haha! I was not very good at this game! Still I enjoyed the idea and it is very well committed, I enjoyed the fact that you were summoning healthy snacks! Overall, great work!
Fun concept! I could imagine harder levels where you need to learn "recipes" and hit the right candles at the right times from memory.
Cool rhythm game with a fitting the theme, but I would love to have some music!
Cute game, I wonder if tweening the circles other than linear radius could change how the game feels significantly. Thought it quite funny that he coughed when I played badly
It's an interesting concept, I'm not good at rhythm games but I didn't have a hard time keeping up with it and I ended up having a good time. Good job!
I like rhythm games, so it's cool you were able to make one for this jam! The take is interesting too, with summoning food. I think the rhythm timing is pretty strict, so I got very few Perfects, so perhaps relaxing the timing a bit would help. Not much else to say, it's pretty short and sweet. Nice job!
Whimsy and fun idea to summon snacks. I wish there was a little more variation in the gameplay, but it's a nicely made game that is well rounded. I appreciate the voice acting! Good job!
Nice little game. Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare. It's also first time for me :). Voice acting goes nice with the game and like the simple animations you used. Good Job!
Played a few rounds and now I need a real snack, lol. The voice/chanting was a great touch and I love the art! I wish there was a bit of a pause after picking a level so I had a chance to get the first hit perfect. Really appreciate having a web build. Thank you for sharing!
like the sound effect, pretty good base for a rhythm game. One change I would on atleast the pc build is to make the inputs based on when the mouse clicks down rather than when it clicks up as most rhythm games use that type of input (or maybe thats the intent of 3 layers of circles like you hold input on the first blue and release on the second blue ? I couldn't really tell).
A really interesting take on the summoning theme! I liked the funny sound effects. Gotta say though that those perfects are tough to get! In terms of what you can add in any future updates, maybe a progress bar to show how many notes are left. And if you really want to go crazy, sliding from one note to another along the star (press down on one note and lift up at another) Anyways, nice job on your first jam!
Great scoping ability, you went with simplest form of casual gameplay that allowed for horizontal expansion into 5 difficulty levels. Charming connection with the theme. My only complaint is the game doesn't really get noticeably harder, but balance is hard to get right.
