Took some trial and error to figure out how to play, but once I got there this was really interesting. The battles were good brainteasers.
I love the way the game looks, very nice atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the clever framing of looking down at a map inside the house itself to control it.

@colourarc thanks for the review! closer to the end I hope to add a tutorial and more battles.
Nice game!
Cool HoMM vibes! Love the ending
Wow, I can't belive someone can manage to complete so nice game during the jam. It has inscryption vibe (in a good way) and a lot of intersting game mechanics. I think that the game has a lot of potential if you will continue to develop it after the jam. Very very good job!

@hardytryer thanks for review! I myself am very eager to continue the development :)
This graphic is very cool. I love this atmosphere!

The looks very polished!
This game is like Inscription, soo 5 out of 5)
Reminds me of Inscryption. Really nice game, with an interesting game mechanic. I liked the animations on the sceleton, and the well written story. Well done!
Definitely inspired by Inscryption and congrats for giving that vibe with both the visuals and the music. If you work a bit on the turn based mechanics, I feel this will become even more better. Congrats!
Really impressive entry! The viewport into the game on the table was super neat! I also really liked the transition into and out of battles!
Firstly, this game is a very ambitions game jam game so I do realise the answer to most/all my feedback will probably be that there just wasn't enough time. That said, I think it was a bit confusing that the friendly skeleton unit worked the same as the tree unit, I was expecting some other ability or even no ability but different stats. I understand wanting to use the asset, but maybe it could just have been a third tree (or maybe I missed something?). I also think it was a bit unclear the number of actions a unit had. I figured out that you could either use ability, walk and attack or just walk. Maybe that could be indicated in the bottom of the screen somehow if an action would end their turn. I tried to count if the units could walk diagonal or not, and I don't think either fit - if it can walk diagonal you should have a square movement reach, but if it can't it shouldn't be able to reach one of the squares it does reach. Also since all units at the moment has two life, two attack you probably could have hidden those values to tell the player that this is a game about movement more than killing blows.
Lastly I would have loved to be able to pick what order I moved the units in. I think that would have made it more into a strategy game than a puzzle game if that make sense? So rather than trying to find the solution I would have been making plans :P
I just want to emphasize, this game is super impressive! It's obvious you know what you're doing and it makes me really wanna give feedback! Well done!

@bjornstenlund many mechanics have been laid down in terms of code for future development. Regarding the skeleton, the thing is that only creature heads have the summoning ability, so I gave a skeleton with a dendroid head. Each creature in the future can be built from a body with speed and health parameters and a head with summoning ability. In terms of strategy, the core gameplay is Heroes of Might and Magic. I'm a big fan of this series of games)) So I will be borrowing some mechanics from there, including move skipping and waiting. Thanks for the review!
Wow you've made such a great game here in 72 hours! The scene is rich in details. The art style and atmosphere also reminded me of Inscryption. It might be even better than the Ludum Dare version of Inscryption.
I like turn-based tactic games and I'm really glad to see a game like this. Although the branch summoning skill may be too powerful to some extent. I can stop half of the skeletons by simply letting one dendroid keep summoning branches around itself and the hut every turn, like this:
B B B
H D B
B B B
No enemies can break through this. Then I can defeat every enemy with the rest of my units.
Well I'm not complaining about the mechanics since this will change if more enemies and units are added. Just because the game is so awesome that I can hardly find some useful advice. XD
By the way I really like the animation of the hut. Nice work!

@moebiusmeow unfortunately I didn't have time to work out the mechanics of summoning well, but I really want to do it in the future. Right now the game is more of a puzzle, as noted earlier - if you realized that you can spam the defense on the hut, then the game is over))) Thanks for the review!
The graphics/viewpoint of this game is super neat! Very ambitious for a jam game! Once I realized you could spam branches on the base and then use another unit to pick off everyone else it got a lot easier  Maybe a limit or cooldown to being able to summon branches would be a solution to that. Great work on this!
Impressive technical art here with the scrolling map!
This game is great! I love the art style, reminded me heavily of Inscryption. Very fun!

A bit laggay at times, but itherwise a pretty cool experience!
Cool style. Interesting mechanics. I loved it!
Thats some sick art. Also the shifting map was really well done. I couldnt finish the game though, the third fight was too hard for me, had to quit after 4-5 tries 😓

@moritz-jaeger thanks for playing, yeah the last fight is not easy, but you can peek at the youtube walkthrough :)
Very impressed with this game, especially the art and style. Combat was a bit unintuitive for me and took some trial and error to figure out though

@aviv-levy thanks for review! Unfortunately took the time to do a bit of the wrong things, so didn't have time to do the tutorial :(
Incredible atmosphere, the art-style is cohesive and works really really well, I would love to know more about the shader you used. At first I didn't understand the right-click instructions but then I figured it out, remarkable how much you can do in a weekend

@zirconcode thanks for playing! If I understood correctly about the shader, you meant the map. There is no specific shader there :) It's just texture fragments from which the wrong circle is cut out. And a mask is applied on top of it.
This is really great!
Liked the game and Iscryption vibe of it. Izbushka na kur'ikh nozhkakh is great though combats felt too simple
