Hi, thanks for playing! I will try to add a web build as well.
@fifut Thanks!
HAHA I'm so small, a little too small even. It became rather difficult to see where I was going when I got too small, otherwise fun ship game
I like the idea. If you have precision and patience this game will be easy for you. I was so small i could no longer see myself xd. Nice entry, would crash again.
aiming and moving the ship around is really satisfying i think! the music was pretty too, a bit contemplative and sad
@monsieurduck @marcodeevil Thanks! I did debate whether I should put a limit on how small you can go, but just left it as a choice in the end...and really, ran out of time!
@hunter-van-brocklin Thanks for the comments!
hear @fifut advice, because half of the Ludum participants will refuse to download anything when they can just try another game already playable in the itch page.
The game is really interesting, although the minerals being inside the walls, when you are not supposed to touch them got me a bit confused at first.
@chusmimax Thanks for playing! Understood about the mineral placement - would be better if sticking off the wall into the empty space I guess. Also, my first attempt at embedding the html version didn't work last night and I didn't have enough time to deal with it - definitely will be trying to get the available, just not sure when yet.
I can't believe the amount of times I crashed, very forgiving game, I really liked the exploration part of it. got 57 minerals on my way to the beating heart! I would suggest to cap the scale at some point because I had to rely on the screen to tell me where I was because my sprite was nowhere to be seen haha!
pretty good game I got to 94 a few tries in but 109 seems difficult hopefully I didn't miss anything, it was fun to move around. :)
@wook Thanks! I'm never sure how easy or hard the game will be since I pretty much know where everything is when I'm testing it. Maybe shield regen was too generous!
@aes1 Thanks! 94 is a lot...I'll admit, I'm not sure it is possible to get them all and finish! Didn't have time for that much testing :)
First time through I didn't realize there was a time limit so I took my time trying to explore and collect everything, then I died :sweat_smile:. Next time I made a dash for it but I think i prefered the exploration aspect the most, shrinking to reach every cranny. The music and generally moody feel definitely helped keep me engaged even though the gameplay is fairly simple.
@silkworm-sweatshop Thanks for playing and the feedback!
I also didn't realize the time limit on my first try, and on the second, I just headed right to the center and shrank myself so tiny I had no idea where I was :D - a small indicator showing where the ship is when it reaches a certain size would help. Also, the UI could use some love, but I understand the time constraints here :) Good job, it's a fun game.
@kanagg I agree, thanks for playing and commenting!
I do not know why but I still wanted to get smaller even though I could fit in one pixel :smiley: . Reached the heart, nice one.
@devez Thanks for playing!
At some point, I think you should zoom instead of shrinking the ship more, it's hard to control the ship when all you see is a pixel ^^ Fun entry tho
@vollfeiw Thanks for the comments!
- cool, I liked the way the shield regenerated over time and I appreciate the arrow directing me to the goal. - It was a bit weird seeing the minerals out of the total, It made me wonder if I have to collect them all to beat the game. - I actually shrunk my ship to the point where it wasn't visible anymore, I think there should be a limit, and with the smaller ship it's hard to see where it is pointing.
@ellaris Thanks for playing and helpful comments!
Nice game and nice idea with changing size) I liked that you can get to finish through different paths.
@mozokevgen Thanks for playing!
cool game, keep up the good work
@dan-str Thanks!
The time pressure was a bit of a surprise; I guess I was expecting more of a "cautious exploration"-type experience than a mad dash to the center. The controls felt super solid, though, and it's a good entry overall.
@henk Thanks for the feedback!
Great music.
The level was interesting to navigate. There is always the question of do I shrink more or squeeze in. Movement was a pleasure, but the QWE controls were hard to get used to. I wanted to press AWD instead because of the WSAD convention. I appreciated the arrow telling me in which direction the heart was.
The shrinking is both fun and satisfying, but there's a point where I can't really see the direction my ship faces until I move..
I thought the mineral collection wasn't necessary. I think they existed purely as a score, and the timer is also a score. I'd rather get a better time than seek out the minerals.
@pincushion Thanks for playing and the constructive feedback!
So small I love it!!!!
@donut-team Thanks!
Really good game! I enjoyed the movement and the music the most, but it is a pretty complete package, great job! I would've expected to die when I got very tiny. It didn't happen, but something else did: Navigating actually became harder as I could barely see my current direction visually, which is a nice side-effect. Another option to make the risk-reward aspect of the game more interesting would be to increase damage taken when the ship gets smaller. That way, the player has to make a choice, which could be interesting. Just an idea :)
@erkberg That is a great idea...thanks for the feedback. And thanks for tipping me over the 20 rating minimum!!!!
@funemaker My pleasure, congrats on making it over the threshold!
Easy controls, once I found the keys! The design definitely felt like there wasn't a lot of guidance how many shrink collectables you needed to continue, so I was unsure of if I needed to backtrack or just keep trucking.
@nathan-franck Thanks for playing!
