Pretty fun game ! Unfortunately I do not have number pad on laptop and numbers on top of letters doesn't work so I can't claim any upgrade. So sad because I'd like to play more !!!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD52 → Isle of Harvest

For what do you need numbers or a number pad? You claim the upgrades by pressing "Q". Hope that helps! :)
Oh, the art style on this makes my heart happy. Big fan of the little sketch lines in the texturing and the roundness of the models.
As @polynoggin said the Art! very lovely! All the icons, models... fit very, very well together I really thought that I was playing a game made by a team :).
Great Job!
Can you make a web build or record video?
@lerg I added a video to the game's description, but I have problems compiling a web build. It's my first time using Unity and I still have a lot to learn! :(
@stevencolling looks really nice!
@lerg Thanks! :3
Rating based on the video because I unfortunately don't have a spare Windows machine... But it looks real good, awesome graphics, even the video is relaxing despite trees being punched. 😄 Well done!
Love the art style! Maybe it could have some feedback loops for harvesting stuff. Like clicking to stuff and hearing the sounds doesn't feel good enough. Maybe you could've shake the tree or move it up or down. But other than that it was really nice, controls were good enough as well. Keep it up!
@vaizaragorn I wanted to, but ran out of time! :(
I fell off the island chasing a piece of wood from a tree on the edge to find there's nothing down there :frowning:
Graphics are stellar. The actions you take in the game are right on point with the theme. I did find it confusing to play at first but once I realized you could click to harvest bushes and trees and such it started making more sense.
@googlypoo You can climb up walls by moving into them and jumping. Thanks for playing! :)
graphics are amazing as always.
Fantastic graphics and a neat idea.
The graphic looks very good, but the feedback is a bit worse
Sorry, I click publish too much, seems like I can't delete them
@coke No problem, thanks for the feedback! :)
This game look really cool. And I love ther sound effects.
Great game!
I love the low poly vibes! I could easily play this for a couple of hours :D Very nicely made, great job, thank you for making this :)
I don't know how you managed to make so many assets and program the game on your own. Great work on the cute visuals and deep gameplay!
@langotriel Thanks! The graphical assets are actually just textured spheres, cubes and cylinders within Unity, put together as prefabs. The illustrations (textures and icons) I drew with Krita and my tablet, which I luckily got rather quick with, given the fact that I work as an illustrator! :D
Love the roundy art style. I find the way to interact object was a bit tiedious on long term. Gathering is addicting. Congrats !
This is quite the game to have completed in a weekend! The art is great and the game is surprisingly compelling. On my first playthrough I fell off the map and before I realized I could have climbed up I fell so far I couldn't even see the land anymore haha. On my second playthrough I encountered a bug (I think?) where my second quest was to get 100 wood for a 110 coin reward, which made it so I couldn't really progress for 5 minutes. Just some minor stuff really, but otherwise the game is super solid.
@matt-rix yeah, balancing within the last minutes of the compo was quite tough! :D Thanks for the feedback!
I like the graphic style and casual play. Good job in the short time!
Very good graphics and fun gameplay. I fell while I was trying to rescue my harvested wood from falling into endless world of default Unity scene :D
Really awesome game and somehow super addicting. Took me a while to get to the second land area as I was building a bonfire ladder when I finally realized you can just climb up :D Very well done, I can imagine how much more fun this could be with more resources and refining buildings.
Great forager vibes but the sound design could be improved as it's similar to clicker game and you hear it a lot while playing some sfx
