Cool concept! It's fun, it gets out of control very quickly :D

I found myself flailing pretty quickly, but the core mechanic is clever!
Great idea! It's like that old game Spin Doctor with (on?) mushrooms! I really like your pickups that shorten/lengthen the beam, and the simple but effective one-button gameplay. My top score is 64 but looking forward to topping that soon! Nice work on the artwork and sprite animation, too; it's really well done.
@roblaro @john-gabriel @chompdev, thank you very much! In plans game is more complex, but it was impossible for me to implement all idea during compo. I'm working on post compo version with a bunch of features ))
What a cool idea for a game! The mechanic and power-ups work great together, although when you get a few too many speed buffs, it becomes quite hectic. I did manage to get to 111 points. :)
I really like the core concept and game overall! Kudos for the nice entry!
Wow that's a smart concept. I wish that the speed was capped / balanced because its quite unplayable towards the end. Super interesting though!
Simple, fun, great game overall! Love it!! Great job!!
It could use some ui pointers as to what's happening. It's sometimes hard to know what's going on with the powerups. After learning the controls it becomes neat, I hope you expand on the idea with some polish!
That reminds me a bit of Qix for the Atari 5200! I love the distortion effect when you collect a mushroom, and the increasing speed as the challenge was a nice touch.
Nice concept and quite a fun one to play. Towards the end the spinning got a bit too intense for my motion sickness but it was enjoyable nevertheless.
I played this for a surprisingly long amount of time LOL. Super simple and fun. I love the powerup sprites, and the screen distortion effect when you collect them or mushrooms. At a certain point I became way too fast, could only stay in the center of the screen, uncontrollably collecting length-increasing powerups until I died.
Fun mechanic! Although I do echo what the other commenters said about it getting too fast - it was almost impossible to move around after you got a few speedup powerups. It was fun though - strangely tricky to get your head around the movement, but satisfying when you get the hang of it! For me in firefox, the screen shake and warp effect didn't work properly in fullscreen mode, but it looked great when not fullscreened - nice effects!
Would be good to get some sound in there - everything else is nicely polished!
Solid arcade game. Definitely reminds me of classics like Snake. You have a cool mechanic here that you should explore more.
Huh, that is interesting.
This game is very similar to mine, but I think mine is better. Yes, I am very humble.
Why? Because yours is smart but not exciting, mine is not so smart but you can do whoooosh and boing and buzzzz and squash.
You have obviously much better graphics and power-ups, but I think you should have spend that time on core gameplay mechanic polishing. There is just not enough cool moves you can do with it and it is not relaxing nor satisfying.
@kohcepba Дружище, ну это же compo версия. )) мне еле хватило времени основной геймплей то дописать, какой уж там полишинг. )) Как время будет, допилю немного, наверное.
Great work. Like the sprites but the game seems to speed up too quickly making it nearly impossible to keep playing for very long.
Simple but solid graphics & gameplay. I couldn't hear any sounds/music when playing, so if there's none you should perhaps opt-out of the audio category. Good job for a compo entry!
@justmars oh! Thank you! I just forgot to opt it out..
