It's like cookie clicker, except it doesn't take 20 hours to play. So an improvement there. Great job on this :D

I love making numbers go up
Love clicker games and this was very well executed :)
Thank you @ben-burnes, @vinzbad and @linus-lindberg for your kind words. I worked really hard on this game so I'm happy to see it's been successful!
ok, that was oddly satisfying for some reason... until I had way more corn that a could ever use. Nice idea! I think I would've liked some kind of event that could drastically level the play field again so that I would feel the need to continue clicking
Simple yet nice visuals with satisfying clicking action tied together with some fun sound effects. I got hooked, luckily doesn't take too long to finish... Great job!
I ran out of this to buy with my billions of corn very quickly haha. It's very easy to break. It's basically Cookie Clicker but you get the dopamine faster. So it's great!. I broke the wheel of mouse by not having space for more, same with pigs and scarecrows. The art was simple but effective. The rain I'd have liked that it went from low to a lot instead of going from the outside to the inside as you bought more.
For suggestions, maybe make the rain a temporary upgrade or a one time buy? it was very easy to break the seeds by just spamming rain and scarecrows and win a a lot of money in one second.
Regardless, I had a good time, good game!
Fun and satisfying. Ended up clicking the buy buttons way more than the corn clicker.
Loves me some clicker games. Wish it had some chill music in the background, especially with the rain. Not sure how experienced you are with jams (I only see one game listed for Ludum Dare), but you can try this tool: https://beepbox.co . Lets you make simple music loops quickly for jams. Overall I really enjoyed it!
Thank you @greynovembergames and @phlip45! I have done some jams before, but this is my first ludem dare, I will defo try beepbox to make some music soon!
This a cute little clicker game. One suggestion I would have would be to make the cost of items increase exponentially rather than linearly. It was way too easy to outpace the cost of new upgrades with clickers and pigs. I had 10s of thousands of corn but it only cost me a few hundred to buy the next upgrade. You want to create the feeling of having the next upgrade just out of reach so the player has something to work toward.
Otherwise it was a great entry. The art and sfx were simple and cute and suited the style of game. Great work!
Art is good, and everything works. It needs some balancing. Like Jason said, the usual way is to have the upgrades increase linearly but cost increase exponentially. The core gameplay is fun though, good job!
I also considered making a clicker but ended not going with it, I'm glad someone did!
Seed/rain combo is just too good, but I understand that the limited time made it hard to balance out the upgrades and advancement curve.
Good job!
Buying extra cursors that auto-click for you was great, haha. Fun little set of simple mechanics that work together well. Nice job on the corn and rain particle effects too.
Thank you @jason-wilson @chompdev and @holysparks for your feedback! I plan on making a more balanced version after voting, which will make upgrades less op and harder to earn
Well, that escalated quickly. The pigs are so overpowered, once you have enough cursors and pigs you pretty much have unlimited money. After 2 minutes, I can't even buy upgrades fast enough to prevent my money from growing! 🐖
That's why games like this usually increase the prices quadratically or exponentially.
Pretty fun and well done anyway, we always need more clicker games!
Quick but satisfying
I like that there are multiple sets of synergies. I got to a few thousand corn in a few minutes and have a lot of stuff onscreen at once now :)
Good basics for a clicker game. Main issues were that pigs and other stuff were drawn on top of each other and that there weren't any surprising unlocks later. Nice job!
As a big clicker game fan, naturally I had a lot of fun- but the actual maths made this just a little too easy to just sit back, buy clickers and pigs and end up with infinite corn. Maybe something like derivative clicker would have worked well for this- have a corn plant that produces one corn, a corn field that produces x number of corn plants, a corn company that produces x number of corn fields and so on... Makes for an easy way to lengthen a game concept like this!
As this is a clicker, I was having fun. But it was a bit easy and all upgrades were pretty much available from the beginning in contrast to how one normally needs to progress a bit to unlock some of them.
