I like the art style of this game. I felt like I got hit a lot and didn't die. I could just stay still and shoot and be okay? The gameplay feels nice and the concept is there. Good submission.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Blitz : invasion

This is a great little space shooter. You've got an awesome base to expand on if you wanted to. The theme implementation was a little weak but it was a tough theme to work with. Great job finishing your game!
Nice shooter, very satisfying!
Very nice shooter, would have liked a scoring system though :)
This is a fun little game with an art style that makes me nostalgic. I especially like the reticle helping with perspective. I have some minor constructive criticisms though.
I think this game would really benefit from a scoring system, because it would give more feedback on kills and would give a sense of progression. I would also have made the opening text appear faster.
nice game, but it could do with some sound, also when enemies go past you there is no penalty so you can just chill in one place
Nice art style. I like the particle effects.
It's a nice start to a StarFox style game, but it would be nice to have more going on. It looks nice graphically. I did notice the collision detection seemed sketchy, several times things would bounce off my ship without causing damage.
Definite StarFox vibes, I wasn't sure if I should be just shooting things or collecting some...
thanks for the feedback guys,i know the game is lacking in some very major ways ,however worry not I'll look into it
TO-DO:
install a scoring / penalizing system, add audio, overhaul the UI, fix the "sketchy" collision system *i noticed this one specifically too
you guys are awesome!
Great work! Score might be nice, and maybe being able to skip past the text animation. Also, the browser version seems to have some graphical issues (that might just be my computer actually). But, all in all, awesome submission!
@geryon-games the issue is that the way a browser implements gles3 for 3d games is different
A scoring system and some sound effects will really help the gameplay. Though it's a great effort for first jam entry. Well done
Noice! I really enjoyed playing through it, though I feel some sound effects are heavily required!!! It reminded me of Sonic Adventure DX (tails' airplane) with the flying/shooting mechanics, so that was fun! :)
The movement felt nice and smooth, took a little while to get into it as I expected inverted controls. The text in the html5 version was really hard to read, and there doesn't seem to be a fullscreen button. As many others have said, some scoring is definitely needed.
Nice work, especially for one person. Everyone else here seems to have their own source of nostalgia to compare this to, but for me personally it reminded me of the ship combat in Ratchet & Clank 2, which I adore. The core gameplay is smooth and well-implemented. Anything else I can say has been said by others above, so there's no need for me to repeat. Well done overall :)
I leave broken. Would love inverted controls for this! Also, would love some sound fx and some music. Very cool shooter! Love the art and design. Flight controls are great though and the explosions are sick. Kinda has a Star Fox feel- really polished movement and interface. Congrats on your first submission and thanks for the game!
Nice work, I actually really enjoyed this game. I actually considered this kind of virtual tunnel perspective for my game as well, but went a different route. I enjoyed the graphic styling in this. Really my biggest complaint on it would be that the text is a little small for the font. It makes it a little hard on the eyes. Great Job!
Nice graphics and smooth controls, some sound and music would add a lot to the experience
