@silas-reinagel Fixed that! Odd copy paste issue haha.
The art and music is amazing. Simple and to the point with a lot of character.
It's really cute! But I can't seem to place any towers down...
Tower defense works really well with the theme and you made a really good tower defense game. I liked the graphics music and characters worked really well together.
AWWW I REALLY LOVED THE ART AND THE CHARACTER DESIGN! (The lil frog sprite was my fav!!), this is my type of game honestly, I'll probably be playing it more in the future!
I love the art and the overall mood. The story is kinda funny too! good job!
Honestly, I had such a nice time with this game. The art style is pretty, colorful, and super cute. I honestly never came across a tower defense game with this kind of soft/cute vibe before. The one thing I'd say is I wish in the game itself it gave me some kind of marker on how many coins I needed to purchase new things to protect the tower. This wasn't much of a problem anymore once I got further in the game.
It also got incredibly easy as I realized that no enemy could withstand my attacks and I felt as if it was more of a losing battle for the enemy without much effort.
I loved this, and I honestly would love to play a full version of this game if you all ever decide to flesh this out!
This was a lot of fun to play. I enjoyed the story, the tower placement mechanics were a bit difficult to overcome at first but I got the hang of it. This game has a lot of charm, by far one of the most charming I've played to date out of all the entries. Would love to see a full game based on this concept.
Obviously the Lily and Bella must get married in the end.
First off, very nice work! Love the art and the story (tho I was disappointed that the game ended without resolution!). I will say that it had poor balance. It was way too easy. Once I got a few towers down I just waited until I won. Also, it wasn't clear how much towers cost, what they did, or where they were allowed to be placed. I was confused for a while because they wouldn't place down. Screenshot 2022-04-05 005029.jpg
Cute art and characters, and good gameplay. Well done!
amazing art design! but lack of guide``
Really loved the art. I missed playing tower defenses so this was a really nice blast from the past for me. It did feel a bit easy even though there wasn't much explanation of what the towers did. I'd love to see more of this and see where the story goes.
Love the art and music! The music track is so peaceful and dreamy!
For a little more gameplay clarity, it would have been nice to be to able to see a guide on how a tower functions before buying it, and also it would be nice to have the price listed on the icon for each tower to help with planning and understanding.
Loved the music, graphics, and especially the minimalistic turret placement controls.
Mouse controls would be easier or cursor so you don't have to start from the middle every time and you can change tower in place where you are right now. Also skipping text to end would be nice and prices of towers. Besides, the game is fun and I really like graphics and mood :)
I really liked the Pixelart great job on that! It's a solid towerdefense game. It would have been helpful and nice to have if there was a pricetag on the different towers and an overview what every tower can do. Now I just had to figure it out ;) And I was confused with the up-down/left-right movement :D
It was a funny story
The game itself had interesting characters and towers, but it was a bit too easy, mostly just waiting for the next dialogue to start.
Overall, good job!
An ending was added. Woo!
I struggled a bit with the controls at first tries and I would've like to see the cost of the towers. That being said, I enjoyed the art, music and the writing :) Nice job!
I also struggled a bit with the controls but really lovely art and music <3
Didn't know how much the towers cost and the game was very easy - but the art and the sounds were really nice
Great art, I love the aesthetic. I definitely would have preferred mouse controls, and it would be nice to have tower descriptions + costs. The character dialog was wonderful though!
Cute twist on a tower defense game. The art and tower designs are really nice. Although, it would be nice to see how much things cost instead of spamming the space key until I had enough gold. Still fun though!
The art style is amazing, really loved it. Good job on building a story into the game!
Just as everyone else said, some info on what a tower does and how much it costs would be nice. Even just in the game description would help a lot. Otherwise I'd be looking forward to a full version of the game :)
what an unexpected ending! I really enjoy your game!
Great tower defense. A bit too easy, but I'm sure with some balance tweaking this will be super enjoyable.
Also as others have mentioned, a description in or out of the game of what each tower does would have been useful.
The ending was super cute!
Lovely game! I liked the graphics, the animations and the music. And it had a lovely little story to tell as well.
Gameplay wise I had some issues understanding the controls first. I usually try to see how well the game gives you instructions without relying on the rules and guides in the game page. Once I checked what did what, it was okay. Other thing was the lack of information about the units. I feel usually players would want to strategize their next move in tower defense games. It can also leave the player frustrated if - for example - they don't know where they can place their units and there is no indication of it either.
Very cool entry in any case! Oh, and I liked how you change the music over the levels. Nice touch.
Good job!
