Interesting idea and well put together! I found it pretty tricky to get the thought bubbles after seeing what they were.

Interesting idea and well put together! I found it pretty tricky to get the thought bubbles after seeing what they were.
Nice little game. I agree that it is hard to grab a bubble after seeing the "+" or "-"
@poopgames @mdnr Thanks for playing and the feedback, I agree with you on getting the +/- . During inital testing I found it too easy, and think I overcorrected.
Interesting game and concept. Love the falling visual effect! Found it hard to react fast enough to which kind of bubble it was, and kept accidently collecting bubbles by moving into them too fast on accident. Good job
Made it all the way through. The first level is quite harder than the last 2 though. The hitbox on the clouds is a bit too big when you have to get so close to see what it is.
@maxr00 Thanks for playing and the feedback, yeah it was quite hard to balance it from being too easy vs too hard. @tengusheath Thanks, yeah I made the last 2 a bit easier to compensate for the annoyance of the first. I agree with the hitbox/view distance.
Chapter about chicken is really complex! I want full game with chickens adventures like this
@gonzo13 haha, the chicken was my favourite for sure! I could have spent the entire Jam doing that alone. Thanks for playing and the feedback.
Nice! I found the chicken platforming quite difficult :D
I had fun with this! I The chicken was really cute and the music is the best in any game I've played yet! I also liked the parallax on the star background.
@roblaro Thanks for playing and feedback, hopefully it wasn't too hard. @ian-kettlewell Thanks for playing and the compliments, the chicken is by far my favourite. Would have loved to spend more time on fleshing out the platformer part.
Overall a fun game, if a little too short. The chicken level was my favorite by fare.
I couldn't get past the second part but the graphics were cute! Nice music that added to the ambience.
A few short and sweet mini games. It's hard to get one game done for Ludum Dare so getting 3 done, albeit small ones, is an awesome accomplishment. I had no problems with the 1st or 3rd levels. I'll agree that it was weird to only see what type of cloud it was almost after you could reach it, but not to the point that I couldn't finish. It just took some more patience than I expected it to at first. The chicken level was cool but there seemed to be an odd issue with the friction on the platforms. Sometimes the platform would carry me when I landed, sometimes it would just stop mid-ride. I managed to beat the level but I felt like I was fighting that issue the whole time.
Good job on this and thanks for the submission!
@bentglasstube @machwerx Thanks for the feedback and playing. @dandala88 Thanks for playing. I ran into that issue as well with the platforms, it had something to do with de-childing the player object before the platform disappears. I wasn't able to debug it and just had to submit. Thanks for the feedback and compliments, I had a plan and wanted to try and stick to it even if the polish wasn't as good as focusing on one game.
I got the first and third levels in one try. The chicken one was so hard, especially with the slipping bug but I somehow managed to do it after about 5 tries. But that's also the one that conveys the emotion the best out of the three. Would be nice if this level has a mechanic to increase happiness (unless there's one already but I didn't notice). Good job!

3 game for the price of 1.
I kind of enjoy these and the 2nd stage reminds me of ice climber from NES https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Climber.
The frustration thing about the 2nd stage is sometimes I get pushed from the platform and sometimes I don't. I can't find a pattern to it. Not sure if this was intended but it does adds to the frustration of that stage.
Congrats on the submission
@maychant I think I fixed the slipping bug, hastily tested but think it's gone now. It didn't have a happiness increase mechanic unfortunately, I wanted to do something along the lines of collecting but had to scrap the idea as I'd spread myself too thin. Thanks for playing and the feedback. @zwodahs Thanks for playing and the feedback! I've not heard of ice climber before but will have to check it out. There's no pattern, it was a bug for slipping which I think I may have resolved now. Thanks again. Forgot that we were allowed to fix bugs after submission, I feel a bit foolish now.
While my abilities were not sufficient to make it to the promised 3rd level, I enjoyed what you did with the first two levels in terms of combining simple controls and making the theme of the game accessible. The proximity mechanic on the first level was very neat in action. Great work!
I definitely liked the messaging on this, particularly apt during Ludum Dare. As solo work in 48 hours this is super impressive.
My favorite was definitely the first falling one, and the second one was pretty tricky! I think it was the most challenging one, but not unfair. I big on number 3, either in gameplay or mood though.
Overall I'd have liked to have seen a more consistent character or throughline through all three chapters, to better tie the messaging and narrative as it is together. Could probably have just used the same falling guy for all three, and that would have been a bit stronger in my opinion.
Still I can't believe you essentially made 3 games in 48 hours. Good work!
Nice collection of minigames, like how you tied in the theme in with everything! Got some small warioware vibes from it with the short and fun minigames. I think I probably liked the first game the most out of all of them, took me a bit to realize you could double jump in the second one, and feels like the third one went on for a bit too long compared to the others.
Good job with the music and art as well, well done!
@mtbvibe Thanks for playing and the feedback.
@cyzaine I agree with your feedback, there was a lot of stuff that had to get cut to get something entered. A consistent character and polishing of core-mechanics in all levels were the major ones that suffered. Thanks for playing and your honest feedback. @hulien22 Thanks for the feedback and playing, I think you're right. I think I spread myself a bit too thin so couldn't really polish/test too much and feel like it could have been a bit better in some areas.
Nice take on the theme! Really impressive for a compo entry! What I liked the most: how both the message of the game and its gameplay are related to the theme. What I think could be improved: maybe it's just me how sucks at platforming haha, but I felt like thesecond level was a little bit difficult. But hey I know that balance is hard to get right, especially in compo!
Congrats!
@guilloteam Thanks for the feedback and playing! Haha, I agree, the second level was my attempt at making something a bit harder but ended up either being too easy or too hard. I settled on what I thought was the mid-way, but couldn't give it any more polish due to time.
Nice job on the entry. Game was very fun.
@jzucc12 Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Simple, short and cute. For a compo game, with this well done. The graphics aren't anything standout, but they do a good job matching the theme and tone of the entry, and the audio does helps enhance it as well. The gameplay is very simple platforming, but it is well executed. I enjoyed the changes in gameplay and how they matched the theme of each level. The only thing I wish for was that the final level had the obstacles match the beat of the music, if only because my brain thought of *Geometry Dash* while playing it, though that's quite unreasonable for a compo game.
Well done!
@proxy-games Thanks for playing and the feedback. Yeah, the final level was meant to be a beat matching geometry dash style but didn't have enough time to flesh it out.
Agreed on the last level being a really cool potential rhythm game. Some of the jump almost matched it which started feeling really good.
The controls were really snappy and responsive all the way through. Especially on game #3, I was worried there might be some lagginess on the jump, but it always triggered perfectly.
Only minor critique I have for you is some indicator on the breaking platforms. It seems that you have them break after a random amount of time. Early on I had a very quick one, and assumed they would all break that quickly. This led me to play pretty dumb and rushed. Once I realized that I typically have more time on the platforms, I got through it. Had a lot of fun with it, nice job, especially for compo!
@mhorth Thanks for playing and the feedback, I agree with you on the platforms for sure too. Wish there were more hours in the compo to get everything perfect haha!
