Looking good. Two nitpicks. First - sprite and 3d graphic styles do not match. Would work better maybe with cell shading 3d. Second - no variety in gameplay.

Забавная адаптация игры из кнопочных телефонов. :) Понравились барышни, что вместо парашутов использовали платья.

Very cute graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 49 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/IO7T3gBWVBc

I've played a bunch of games similar to this, so the idea is pretty used. Sounds were quite minimal, but also not offensive.

This game is complete and looks good and polished though. I liked the details of different eras, although at the last era I had to concentrate on the tower and not the sights when I completed it :D

retrome 2021-10-09 04:54

@baturinsky , hello  and thanks for remarks about graphics and gameplay! It was our first experience in combining of 2D and 3D graphics, so advice about cell shading is valuable.

OOh what a satisfying little game. I love how simple it is to understand and play. The click sounds when blocks land is so perfect. Great work!

c0nt 2021-10-09 17:27

I definitely have played something similar before. The aesthetics were fun though.

mynespyro 2021-10-09 17:33

Fun little Game. The Gameplay was cool. Would have made the unstability of the tower more the focus then the timer.

weine 2021-10-09 17:37

Nice little idle-clicker. I think you used the camera motion and background graphics well to give a good impression of the big heights. On the down side it felt a little bit too easy and repetitive, with no major sense of progress.

xpoho 2021-10-09 18:19

Good game, beautiful models, nice music

marvin-chong 2021-10-16 15:19

Awesome game! The game was very easy to get into. Not only is it because of the simple controls, but because the swing at the top is a good indicator to the player that we should be dropping blocks on houses in a way that it wouldn't slip and drop.

I was very impressed by the physics of the swing and the movement of the building as the ground shook. Everything felt very nice and smooth. The camera shake with the buildings moving gave me a good sense of height, risk and danger, which adds to the mood and theme.

There were several cool things about the visual aesthetics. The 3D house blocks look nice and the 2D sprites, clouds and buildings in the background were a good touch. I also like how the 2D sprites came in different colours. However, I do agree with some of the comments here, there is no visual theme, and so it felt like there were different visual elements that didn't harmonize.

Overall an enjoyable game. I applaud the developers for trying something new with mixing 2D and 3D visuals.

aatala 2021-10-16 15:36

It is a fun and well built game, but gets boring really fast, i think the levels should go by quicker andn not take 50 blocks to complete

peace-of-cake-games 2021-10-16 15:57

Thank goodness for friction.... 😅

What a nice and polished game! The feeling of the buildings popping into place is very satisfying, and all of the little graphical touches you added really bring it all together. I like how the characters flying in not only improved the feel of the game, but also due to them being 2D compared to the game elements' 3D, they weren't distracting and annoying, and added to the environment whilst building the buildings.

awildekans 2021-10-16 16:03

Simple concept executed really well! Art style fits it really nicely and the timer forces me to just go for a move instead of thinking it through. Does quickly get old though. Overall nice work!

chairshot-games 2021-10-16 21:53

Fun game! Good concept and I like how there are multiple styles of building. Good music too. Only suggestion would be to make it harder. The sound of the pieces snapping together is so satisfying. Great job!

soul-grinder 2021-10-17 14:54

Nice building graphics, effects and sprite graphics too. Good idea for the theme, the buildings felt like they were going to topple a couple of times but didn't. Fun to play and would be cool to play on phone.

pfs 2021-10-17 15:18

I got a bit bored with just pressing space at the same time, there wasnt any randomization with swinging the blocks and so I didnt find it that challenging... However I do think that with the randomization it would be a pretty fun game. I liked the music and the graphics :)

basset-romain 2021-10-17 19:01

Nice job the game goes well with the theme and is very polished, too bad there is not something else that could make a gap between this game and all the similar ones.

molpe 2021-10-19 07:18

I was SO CLOSE to finishing this! Very nice idea!
