I like the interpretation of the theme! This takes pinball tilting to a whole new level. I do wish the pinball game itself had a little more variety so I could really make use of tilting the table in interesting ways, but this is a good start for this concept. I like that the high score and other UI elements are saved for the pinball table's backboard. That was a nice detail. In general the dedication to build the whole 3d environment was very nice.

I love remade classics; the physics are good, the ball feels really have and comes in surprisingly quickly, the paddles behave and the ball in a way. If you spice the theme up a bit (bricks...?) and some added some rewards this could be a decent mobile game. Extra kudos for player's shadow.

This is indeed a fun take on the theme! You managed to capture those adrenaline moments where the ball is falling to the wrong direction and you tilt the table like crazy, sometimes it help, sometimes not. I was afraid the game was gonna be way easier with this gameplay mechanic but boy I was wrong!

I do feel like sometimes the ball physics behaved a bit weirdly (when shaking the mouse fast). Regarding graphics, the 3D is nice, and I liked that you added some additionnal tables for the "pub" mood. Audio was a bit underwhelming, pinball table are know for their crazy audio sound effects and musics and the comparaison is difficult to hold for a game made in 48hours.

I would love to play different tables with new level design!

Thank you for your game!

Simple and efficient, works well and I liked it:slight_smile:. I see where you integrated the theme with the tilt but I feel like it falls a bit short. I would have rather seen the table constantly moving to give a bigger twist to the game

Good job and well done!

Great pinball game!

This is the best unity pinball I've ever seen. The physics are fantastic, it feels great, the graphics are super crisp and lively. Its got a great pinball hall mood and it is a lot of fun to play. my high score was 25800. in the middle of my first game I found the ball stuck in the top righ tand clicked things and was trying to get out of the game to reload, used the mouse and WHOA I realized that the controls with the mouse are where its at. I have always wanted to play a pinball game where tilting is ok (where its on an UNSTABLE table ;) ) and this is where its at. Thanks for sharing it with us! Nice work!

It's pinball. Somewhat entertaining and it works... but it's just pinball. I miss some cool graphics and the music is kinda annoying over the time. Oh, and the ball randomly disappears or stops rolling or the hatch for the ball doesn't open but hey... nice work.

Classic pinball game just like the old days in the arcade :)

gustavb 2021-10-09 18:09

Timeless classic  If I could change one thing it would be making the "tilt table" smoother slower. I was a bit scared to move the mouse :)

Now thats a lot of TILT :D Really interesting take on the theme. I noticed in the web version it keeps re-entering fullscreen while already in it, probably because the cursor leaves (I have 2 monitors), you could probably trap it inside the window. Also the notes on the bumpers made for fun music.

Cool idea for a game! I did appreciate the physics, and the idea is cool.

I did hit a bug a few times - if you fail to shoot the ball correctly, the game will close the ball launch area with the ball in it, causing the game to lock up and become unplayable. I ended up never finishing a round because this kept happening.

Still, this is a really cool idea, and you could do a lot with it. Great take on the theme, too

All works fine and it was nice to play, great job!

Great game! Bring back good memories of space cadet pinball on my first PC :)

I had bug several times when ball passwd through bumper, but no critical problems.

Sound is totally awesome and expirience is nice.

Good luck!

Thank you for submitting the game to the stream! I had a lot of fun playing it :)

I am a fan of pinball games and was super thrilled to see that you had made one. The fact that you can affect the ball so much through the shaking actually was a fantastic mechanic. One of the "less exciting" parts of pinball is when you have no affect on the ball for an extended period of time. That was never the case here, at any time I was able to influence the ball, which just made it feel a lot more interactive. Quite annoyed that I couldn't get one more hit to breach the 3000 point barrier, but I am going to return to it and try to do it (maybe tomorrow :) )

Visually this is a fantastic looking game, I can't believe you managed to pull this off in such a short time, and by your self.

Great looking and smooth game! I really liked the mouse controls! Pretty neat idea! Great job and congratulations!

Nice job on getting a full pinball machine implementation done as part of the compo! I love the style and the incorporation of the unstable floor into the game.

jpatchz 2021-10-11 05:56

Tilting the table is so much fun! It almost made me brake my mouse! haha Nice job doing this on your own for compo. It must had been really hard! The vibes of the game feels very nice. It would be cool to see more themed tables to tilt.

crefossus 2021-10-21 01:36

Wow great job. It's so polished! The shaking of the machine is on theme and feels great. I love being able to rescue the ball from impending death even if I could only do it once. The only work to be done could be on The atmosphere is amazing, especially loving the shadows. Watch a highlight of me playing and commenting/rating here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1182521464
