Nice game. Easy to control. The game looked great and had nice sound. I found the ink (or ammo) hard to replenish. I'm assuming it was ink so i went after the octopus but they did not give me any. I found some in bubbles but i ran out pretty fast. Good job.

@milano23 thank you for your kind words. Actually the projectiles were meant to be cannon balls. Maybe I removed to many of them in an attempt to raise the difficulty.

Everything is quite simple, nice graphics. Start a page on itch, the link to the dropbox is not completely credible. Now is the time, no one likes to download files without checking, thanks for your understanding

It seems like the ammo runs out a little bit too fast, but aside from that, it's a pretty good idea! It could also be cool to have some sort of shooting indicator, sort of like Angry Birds, where there are dots that will show you the trajectory of the cannon balls.

The art is really good! I think the game could use a score or something. I'm not sure if it has an ending but a score will add some replay value. Some feedback when hit would add some flavor as well. Like a screen shake or the submarine flashes red, etc. Given the time limit of the Jam this is a good entry. Nice job.

The art is great! Love the animations. The general tone of being underwater in a cartoon was really well accomplished.

I got to the bottom and when I did there were tons of green fish following me, which was very funny.

I think a meter for how deep you have gone would be cool.

It's very cool but I'd still call it a toy 'cause there's no winstate - is there? the hitbox on ur submarine is really forgiving - maybe too much so ^^# same the background serves no purpose - no collision box and it doesn't indicate you when you've reached the end of your play-area - would have been a welcomed upgrade same - havine a little screen that tells you how deep you're going if only to have a high score page with your "GAME OVER" screen could have been neat how about the goal of the player - why do you have to dive? both my health and material jauges remained full for the entire game - bit lacking in the challenge department - for my liking sound is solid and graphics are very chill tho - yellow submarine meets magical school bus - count me in :-D I hope that helps you improve - keep at it fam, tc :)

@strangeryann Thank you very much for your kind feedback! Originally the idea was to make the player rescue people, but you know how it is with the deadline and all. That also killed the win state. But really solid ideas. The hight meter is a common suggestion and I really like it, it just didn't get to me during the jam. But really great feedback, thanks!

Very good art style and music. I think you should add feedback when you take damage (screenshake, color change) and maybe add more ammo. Nice job !

Nice artstyle - especially the main hero. I went straight to the bottom - does that mean I win? The ammo don't last very long and for quite a while I couldn't find more ammo powerups. The foreground objects don't distuinguish much from background and I bumped on them few times.

Yeah , that was supposed to become the ending. Thanks for pointing out the other problems, but unfortunatelly i didn‘t have time anymore to fix any of the issues

I enjoyed the art style and animation, the music is perfect. I would recommend: sounds for enemies, an option to attack or defend and a prize at the bottom. Nonetheless very nice soothing entry.

This game made me smile, and thank you for that. I love the art style and the music. The gameplay is okay, but it felt a bit slow, but it was not a big issue for a jam game. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

I loved the visual style of this game. The expressions changing on the submarine pilot's face and the mean green fish are great. Wasn't really clear if there is some end goal but eventually I found myself looking for more bullets once I got to the bottom and had a hard time finding them.

Few suggestions: - maybe add score or clear goal - sub could keep some small amount of inertia when key press is released and not stop moving immediately - it seemed like single fish could take more than 1 bullet even though 1st one killed it, maybe disable it's collision box to allow next one near it to get hit

The graphics in this are so stylish, the game looks like an old Nickelodeon cartoon, it's great. The music was cool as well. I feel like it needs a scoring system or some sort of goal to aim for. If the game was less fast-paced, it might feel more like a chilled out exploration style game, but at the moment it feels very arcadey so it's kind of missing a clear goal. Great work :)

The graphics in this really pop. Great job on that. You probably ran out of time but some walls would have been nice to mark the level boundaries and perhaps a win area. But I really like the look of the game, nice touch with the different player face animations too. I wanted to continue exploring when I hit the bounds but I can understand being on your own that's a lot manage to get done. Great job! Ps I really like the enemy character design with the head-like face
