cool abstract game.
I really, really like the game. It has nice replay value, great game design and learning curve. After a while of trying, I got score of about 1100. Audio is really fitting and not annoying (as often happens with custom chiptune).
I still don't understand what the purple pills are for.
I like the theme interpretation.
I don't know the purpose and color of beads. But it's an exciting game. It's just a little difficult for me.

Man this game is super addicting! It's got a "just one more play factor" to it because there's a lot of randomness, yet you feel like you're under control of the randomness.
My best was 990 and it took me a while to figure out how to get there. One of the sections I would gun for every time was the "V" with a bunch of purple pills on it. If you get that, you're somewhat guaranteed to go far as long as you manage your cells well.
One thing I like about this game is the naturally increasing difficulty as you fall down faster. It gets very hard to correctly weave your box right in front of a red one, or to choose the correct angle in order to bounce your ball in the right direction to nab 5 pills in a row. Stuff like this is what really hooked me, because again, even if you miss, you feel like you were just close enough and could make it next time around.
I'm impressed with the theming, this was a really unique take on the theme. Even if there are other deep learning games, I doubt they'll have this kind of presentation. I think this game is an unsung hero this jam. If people can get past the learning curve, they're in for a treat.

Hah, I love the story behind this! Although if we're training neural nets on how to descend, they should be getting better at placing the starting boxes with every round we play :wink: One small feedback - it would be great if removing boxes could be done with right click instead of left click! I often found myself adding boxes when I meant to remove them and vise versa
At first I was totally confused because I only read the name of the game and no description. So I thought there was gonna be some actual machine learning xD As for the gameplay I wished for some way to cancel a initiated drag, as I found the angle to have made my planned move impossible. A reset button would've also been nice so that you don't have to wait too long when all hope is lost anyways.
A more extreme idea could be changing the camera to free look. This way there wouldn't be any difficulty placing stuff the way you want and you could also plan ahead if nothing much is happening... Now I don't know if this defeats the purpose of the game though, so maybe limit the cam to not go too far away from the ball? Anyways congrats on the cool game!

Interesting game, congrats! I think you could add some in game tutorial to explain each pill, it was a bit hard to understand without the description.
I wanted the better graphics on desktop version but the Windows link is broken - oh no. Well, I played the browser version instead.
I really liked the ability to "draw" the level. I found the game to be quite challenging though, with just too many stats to keep track of - that's just me though. This is exactly what I needed to pass my AI class at my university :smile:
Managed to get into the 1000s once! The game starts off hard to remember what all the colors mean, but once you have an intuitive grasp of the game, it's fun! It has a big gap between the skill floor and skill ceiling, which is good :)

I like so much the concept of the game and its gameplay I like the way that the time remaining is shown, but isn't clear to see, maybe a bigger bar would solve it

I'm not sure I totally got the deep learning analogy- is this like the loss landscape you're trying to descend and avoid local optima? :P Semantics aside, it was a fun arcade-like experience, and had a lot of replay value with the random generation. :D
I spent a long time in my stream with this one haha. It's very relaxing and fun to play. I really liked that all the info is communicated inside of the player. For a game that's focused on getting a high score though, the purple dots feel out of place that they give you a bonus between runs so it rewards people that spend more time with it rather than skillful play.
Great game overall though, I had tons of fun!
