This is a really good entry! Great job! The visuals are simple, but the colors are well selected. Diving deeper into the ocean fits the theme perfectly. The sound effects could be a little better. I wish my bullets would feel a little more effective. I eventually stopped fighting everything and just dodged my way to the bottom. The ocean getting darker along the way is a great touch. Good job!

(Play and rate and give feedback to some games so more people can see this gem you've made!)

This is a really solid game. The only problem I ran into was the enemies spawning in walls but other than that, it was super nice looking. The music also added a lot and I loved how the bullets bounced off everything.

Very cool game! Playing this was an enjoyable experience; the controls felt responsive, the music and sounds fit pretty well and the graphics are simple but very effective. I like the fact that the projectiles can ricochet and deflect enemy projectiles and the health being reflected by the length of the player character is a nice touch (and it adds snake-like difficulty as you become a larger and easier target the more health you have). The only issue I (think I) encountered is that I sometimes appeared to get hit by things that weren't close enough to hit me, as if the hitbox of my creature/the tail of the create was bigger than its visual representation. Congratulations on your solid LD48 entry!

I defeated the big dude and won the game. This is really fun to play. I like the minimalistic graphics and the water getting darker as you progress deeper and deeper. The difficulty is well balanced.

That was excellent! I loved all the variety in the creatures, and how focused the concept and delivery was. Great job!

Note to self: Don't play with trackpad  Love the style though! Great work!

I liked the destructible enemies and how the bullets ricocheted off each other, nice soundtrack and chill gameplay. I did wish the player's base movement was actually the upgraded speed but overall solid entry.

The art is beautiful and that paired with the easy controls and concept made this a great game.

Nice, I really liked the atmosphere you made with the art style and music. It was very intuitive to play and I like how the lower health you got the harder you were to get hit. Took me a bit to realize it was my own bullets which were hurting me after bouncing around a few times, so I then tried to use the enemy's bullets against them but it didn't seem to work unfortunately. Managed to get to the end screen, but it felt like the big bad at the end was less difficult than another red I accidentally stumbled across which had a bunch of enemies around it in a relatively small area. Overall nice pleasant experience.

I like the style and simplicity of the gameplay. The mechanics are clear from the start and make for a very enjoyable experience. Having the health be represented in the length of your tail is a nice detail on itself, but it's great to see how it affected the difficulty as well. The bouncing bullets felt a bit odd at times. Maybe I didn't understand how to use it strategically but it seemed to never really come in useful (or make things tricky for that matter) for me. Could be nice to explore that more as a mechanic (or explain better how to use it correctly?).

wow. thats the best entry i played so far. the progression was really good and it was challenging just the right amount. the graphics were gorgeous

I loved the tail animation, and the game feels very...simple, but _done_, you know. Great job.

I like this entry in this year's game jam. I kept going deeper and deeper and then realized there were bullets and enemies everywhere. Music was awesomely calming with a hint of intrigue as you explored the various areas. Even though I lost my tail very often, I was able to get pretty far into it. Very enjoyable and I hope for the best for this entry.

The game feels very polished - the music, controls, movement - everything. It's simple, yet it really hooked me. I can really see how this can be expanded into a full game where the worm's shape can "mutate" due to different powerups. Speaking of powerups - I did not really understand what that blue orb gave me other than speed. I thought I was invincible at first, but then I got a ton of damage by ramming into the pink octopus thing

Had some good fun with this game, though it's calm music seemed like a false flag to a much more destructive environment my poor worm was getting itself into. Controls were smooth, and I really appreciate the look-ahead camera focusing where the mouse was aiming. I also like the unique health system that also creates a bigger target, thus creating a bit of a risk-vs-reward system, though that sometimes creates some bizarre collision issues when traversing through thinner tunnels. I ended up be expelled out of one of them, for example, apparently because the "gun" has a collision. Overall, intuitive game with some nice game feel.

I think my biggest complaints are the over-use of repetitive sound effects and screenshakes. For sound effects, something as simple as randomizing the pitch of the sound being played would have went a long way in making it tolerable. As it is now, I can still hear the firing and explosion sound still ringing in my ear. They get very dull, very quickly. For screenshakes, while a powerful tool, I think they should have been reserved for destroying an enemy. As of right now, it occurs too frequently, when a simple shake animation and sprite flash for an enemy getting hit would have sufficed (similar animations for the player getting hit would have been appreciated). I personally like to add a brief pause in time as well when the hit connects, both at the enemy, and at the player. Having a screenshake when the player is hit is, however, justified, and I'm fine leaving that in.

I also didn't like that your own bullets collider into your own tail. I dunno if that was deliberate, but it did make the usual run-away/strafe-away while firing that's the core experience of twin-stick shooters unpredictable and not very fun. I think removing just that interaction would have been more interesting.

Still, most of these are nitpicks. I still ended up having a good time!

Really nice jam. The mechanics are interesting. Sounds are great. It just through me in, at first I thought it will move by itself and I only will have to shoot. Found myself just spamming and shooting XD Even made sure I can't hit myself, because I realized the shots bounce of the walls (which is a great touch, love it!).

Didn't really understand where I'm going and why though.
