I couldn't defeat the big pink cube but the bullet patterns were nice! I'd suggest making the bullets a little brighter so they are easier to see :D

Really liked the items you could obtain and the atmosphere! could make for a very compelling story!
Nice game, I really liked the boss theme and the atmosphere it creates! (I finished with a score of 1213, is that any good ? :p )
Pretty cool. I played it all the way . It had a nice length. I like the lore pickups in the form of the inventory. Nice entry given the time handicap. Good work!
Nice game with nice music !
I really liked the background art, and music. Nice bullet patterns as well. It was really sad when I had to kill my mom, the soundtrack for that fight fit the somber melancholic tone perfectly.
Cool story in the items. Could not continue for very long before the game started glitching too much, and eventually froze to death. Might come back to it later! As a minor criticism of the art, I would suggest more consistent line width; and maybe a bigger width for the character for instance, maybe at least the outline. Otherwise the chara design is cool, the main character reminded me of Rei in Evangelion.
Pretty solid game; I liked the status screen between missions and the opportunity to take a break and read the lore. I was a bit confused by the lore, though; I couldn't remember which companies were the good and bad guys, and the lore kept referring to Icaria in the third person, which made me confused because I though I was Icaria. I wasn't sure who the numbered android referred to at the end was.
The backgrounds were also nice and low-contrast, and the character collision was good.
The boss spawned a static dot apparently full of projectiles after death, which my character proceeded to fly through during the transition-out "cutscene" and died.
Its really good game ! you did a pretty good job
I was wondering if you used bullet ML when i saw the boss =). cool game, took me 2 tries to get through the boss. loved the graphics, especially the backgrounds. music was cool, i think a little percussion would have made it better, even just a kick drum. the lore was a nice touch.
Very funny! A lot of fun to play
Im abit sad cause i wanted to try it but on my laptop it was lagging like crazy on both chrome and windows edge T_T
good job! the story was cool, the inventory items were fun and impactful. The backgroud with the pillars kind of melted my brain a little bit but they were all really cool. ha. music was great too!
Nice! I normally hate bullet hell games, but I was just about able to scrape through this one. The flavour text was great :D
... am I the android that will be disposed of :fearful:
I thought the music and the backgrounds were really well done. Having a story unfold through the collected items was nice, and got me invested in the game. Overall it felt a bit on the easy side. Normally I'm pretty bad at this type of game, but I don't think I ever dropped below 3/4 health. Still, I had fun playing and piecing together the story!
Interesting idea to do storytelling through the inventory.
Bullet patterns were a bit of a mixed bag. The little guys were probably the worst since you had to actively bait them, where most of the other patterns could be dodged.
Last boss had some rough patterns. Hitbox was also ambiguous.
That said, the health bar solves basically all of these complaints, since taking a hit isn't lethal like most shmups. Though I found it a bit easy as a result. For the boss's last pattern I just face tanked all the shots since it was more efficient than trying to dodge.
Overall package seems solid. No major bugs, mostly just found myself wanting more enemies/levels/etc, which is always a good sign that you've got a solid idea.
Nice work!
Really coool game! Love the look loveht e almost like gundam esque kinda futuristic anime vibe! I thought the graphics were cool and the things that need to be hi-res were hi-res and it was made more effective b things tht were more pixelated.
I love games like this so that was relly exciting and I'll be honest until after I beat the final boss I didn't realize that the game lore was comin g in the form of the inventory. I even tried using an item! But once I did realize that the story was in the inventory I thought that that was a really cool way to tell the story!
The music and fx were a lot of fun! I hd to turn my speakers up rather high to hear it so maybe slightly louder mixing? But the music itself was great! The voice part in the boss level maybe you could consider adding the slightest slightest bit of reverb for a sense of space that would be in stark contrast to the rest of the music in the game and then really kinda add to the eeriness of having to almost face that final boss!
Great entry and nice work!! Loved it
@luddegodofpain @alyd-asmar Hello guys, thank you for your interest in our game ! I have added a Desktop Build ; not sure it will alleviate all the performance issues, but it might help.
Good job, I liked to read the lore though inventory, smart idea ! The bullet partterns are great, maybe inescapable on the last fight but it was very fun ! Maybe green is not the best color, in my opinion and it's very subjective, I would have prefer red, pink or orange but it was fine with green too. Great game !
Good job, the last mission add a lot to your game, really liked the theme of this fight. It's also nice to see that you worked on a lore for your game, as I didn't saw it that much for now in the jam! The sound volume is incredibly low though, makes it hard to really appreciate the sound design :/ Nice work overall, good luck for the future developments!
Oh dear god. At some point I just drowned in green balls. XD Also, maybe thats only a problem with my computer, but i think the amount of balls were to much for my pc to handle, and some of them didn't make damage as they hit me, and sometimes it lagged and the frame rate dropped completely, but I like the visual background effect. It is subtle, but it must have been difficult to make. I wish you'd deal more with the theme, especially gameplay wise. But this game really reminded me of these classic top down shooters and I had a blast playing it!
nice entry, hat quite some fun playing the game. Sadly i didn't get the 3. item even thogh i killed the end boss. Did I miss something?
Overall nice gmae for 72 hours
I liked the soundtrack! I didn't expect to see a voice on jam! That's cool! You also have a curious story and a nice UI. The sounds were pleasant, too. The game reminded me of an old JRPG)
From the cons: the movement felt slow, I would like more speed. During the battle with the boss, I had a glitch in the moments of explosive attacks. Thank you =)
One thing I would keep in mind in making a game like this: give the player 8-way movement; it will give them a lot more leeway to dodge the attacks. Limiting the movement to 4-ways makes it hard to dodge and move effectively.
A litle short, but good fun. I like a good bit of bullet-hell...
Nice bullet hell shooter! All my thoughs have been covered in previous comments, so I'll just say I enjoyed it and great work!
hm... bullet-hell nice job, but I did not understand what has to do with the topic of the competition and the game.
