very funny game! and enough difficult at first

Good job, funny background music

Link works for me, very nice and fun game! Music & graphics works together well, animations are nice-looking, too. One thing that slightly annoys is hopping car SFX. The idea is pretty random and wild. I Like it!

I mean.. I can definitely relate to this frog, but I can't build cars..that would be sweet! Anyway, at first, I could hear how the cogs in my brain turn when I tried to wrap my head around this gameplay, but once you get, the game is actually pretty cool. Not as cool as a frog making its own car, but still cool

Very fun game, but the learning curve was quite steep. Wish there were some checkpoints where things at least slowed down a bit to allow one to switch die positions.

Cool concept !

cool concept, make me think of Dicey Dungeon ! I liked the music and art too :)

Really neat game! While it can be a little overwhelming I enjoyed solving the puzzles and liked all the other elements of it. Deserves more ratings for sure

A really beatuiful game, and the sound effects fits perfectly. Really satisfying mechanics, but I think the puzzle solutions could have been cleaner. Or maybe I was doing it wrong?

weeping-rupee 2020-10-08 23:27

@sandpile I suppose there is no wrong way as long as you make it to the flag... how far did you make it?

A very original, creative and different game. I really liked the logic involved. The loop mechanics are very unique. I think it was an excellent interpretation of the theme. Congratulations.

I really enjoyed this game! Great art and I had a lot of fun with the mechanic. I was expecting the on-the-fly dice switching to get a little annoying and require precise UI clicking timing, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the car pause movement when interacting with the dice. This game kept me occupied longer than many LD games, I'm always impressed to see a game made in a weekend that can engage me for this long.

Nice work for this theme :)

I love the bonus level! Really cool game. I know you opted out of graphics (and for good reason) but I'll still compliment the goofy stretch and squish of the frog when jumping / bumping a wall. The puzzles were super original, and a lot of fun! Great job all around!

Haha this is fantastic.

This is the best "move elements from a code loop" exemple I've seen. The dice splitting mechanic is intuitive and fun, the real time feeling of some actions add a small layer of execution to the puzzles, and all the art, animations, and sounds are so good!

The difficulty of jumping and going forward at the right time may be a bit to much.

I loved the game, thanks and good job 💕

5/5 it's amazing! One of the best games I played this Jam! Totally top 100 to my taste!

pkenney 2020-10-25 23:34

NICE.

I did everything including the bonus level. This game was awesome. Cool mechanics with a great mix of planning the solution out in my mind and trying to execute the timing. Art was fantastic, the layered backgrounds made it feel very rich, and not like a jam game. The main character was popping with wide-eyed life, and the tweening used on him took it to another level. The music was enjoyable and fit well, and even better were the sound effects that made the interacts feel strong.

I think you hit everything across the board here, extremely well done. Congrats!
