Cool idea! There are some collision issues where sometimes I couldn't move to the left, also it didn't let me continue to the second level. Pretty cool game overall.

I'd love to have the character move faster, if that was possible. But overall, nicely done, for just 2 days ;)
Interesting take on the theme! I like this 8 bit style.
I died when trying to get to the room at the very left of the first level, there might be something iffy with the colliders there. :see_no_evil:

Also couldn't go to the second level, but loved the character sprite. Faster/more fluid movement may up the fun level, but for a jam this is a fun start!
Looks interesting to me! I liked the gameplay! But unfortunately, I faced some issues while playing and I could not finish the game because of them:
- I've collected all the money in the rooms of the first level but I can neither buy 1 ammo (I have enough money), nor get to the next level (buttons are clickable but they do nothing);
- If I lose, I can not enter the game without reloading the web-page. The "Play Button" Menu won't hide when I click "Play".
I'm on Windows/Opera/WebGL.
I really like the concept for this game! The art style fits well and the gameplay is smooth. You could definitely tweak the game to improve it by adding sound effects and more feedback for certain actions like attack, take damage, pick up antidote, turrets charging up, running out of time etc, to make the game feel more reactive. The controls are simple and the game plays well. Given some more time and the features you suggested such as procedurally generated levels I could see this being really fun and having replayability. Well done this was a really cool entry.
Cool little game. I wasn't too sure what I was meant to do once I had ran out of bullets
I like the raiding gameplay, it's a fun idea. The game was a bit glytchy, though. Not too bad.
Good Idea !
The idea is fun. Looks like the resources are useful in all kinds of games. That's a good design on reusability.
I think you should pick either the timer or the healthbar, not both. I'd lean toward the healthbar and away from the timer, but make the healthbar much smaller. Good thieving requires timing and patience, which a timer discourages.
I think being able to play as the robber instead of someone who is trying to defeat the robber was cool, and it had good graphics and plenty to explore.
Interesting take on the theme, but I did not really see it manifest in the game. I felt like I was robbing a bank, and collecting stimpacks just to compete with the bank's defenses. Graphics are nice, but gameplay is a little clunky. It appears I can just keep buying bullets in between levels (the money wasn't deducted from my balance).

There was a null pointer in the UI that caused the second level to not be able to load. I went in and fixed that UI element so the second level can be loaded. The second level isnt much different than the first, but a key design of the game is the idea that you need to prepare for the next level.
Sergei, you also encounter the bug that happens when you lose. This is due to static variables, I'll fix this post jam but I felt that since it wasnt critical I can wait.
Also thank you to everyone for giving my game a play
@jack-maxwell, there's no problem, I liked the game anyway but thanks, I completed the second level just now!
Cool game, I like what you tried to do with the healthbar stuff, but I didn't really get that from the game, I got it from your post about it, so I never actually changed my behaviour based on that while playing.
Hahah I like how you thought about it for this theme :) Also the minimalistic pixel art is a nice touch.
Hello! Your game was played during my stream!
If you happened to miss me playing the game, you can go to this spreadsheet to find what timestamp I played your game https://tinyurl.com/yau8hjzn
And then look in my latest videos and find your game being play (after the current stream ends) https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos
What a world :D You are dodging tires and laser turrets for desperate need of $100 bills. Quite and experience. Not sure if I died or if time ran out or energy, but the game just ended me being alone in the corridor without getting hit. Needs music and sounds :)
Took me a couple tries but finally beat it! I enjoyed this entry!
