Nice game, but I wasn't able to survive past 2 days because the pet kept dying after it ran out of happiness. I really liked the chiptune sound effects, they seemed very fitting.

HE SHOULD BE ENDLESSLY HAPPY hahaha. It's a cool little game. I appreciate the simple art style.

Quite a hard game. I managed to keep him alive for 7 days and 22 hours. At first I had trouble making him happy. It wasn't very clear on what to do (In the end I just moved the ball in circls). But otherwise a good game.

Hi there! Super cute style and I love the theme (Tamagotchi styles!), definitely something we considered :) I understand how it should work I think but the happiness tanks fast and I don't quite get playing (Granted I suck at playing with our cat!). I tried both one and two balls, hitting him and not hitting him as well as a room of balls. ballmadness.png

Cute, funny. My pet most often perished from unhappiness :( He didn't like the owner.

It's a fun game! But it was a bit hard to keep his happiness level high, so I ended up just feeding him the smoothies, until the food level dropped really low after the last smoothie. I survived for 4 days! Also, isn't it weird how you are giving a name to your friend's pet?

Loved the balls bouncing around. Simple concept that was fun to play. Is keeping a pet that hard? :D

Very nice and simple game. I love that you implemented a tutorial section into the game and the overall UI was easy to grasp. I do wish that there was some background music. Great Job!

LOL. Just like a pet sims. Good job fun game!

The pet simulator is well done, every element is there. I like the shop that adds a bit of a clicker vibe to it, with the items that are here to "click for you" I might say. The GUI has every data well written and organized but could benefit from a little more graphic design to be less blunt.

Unfortunately my pet always commited suicide as I could not fathom how to entertain it with the ball-s. Your game has a tutorial ! I think it lacks a few information (hapiness block seems recurent within players) but it **exists** and is helpful enough to know what to do ; and for a gamejam project it is rare enough so that I fully appreciated yours.

Haha nice game, the game feels quite complete with events that keeps me engaged. It is quite hard indeed as others have said because of the happiness system, just like real life.

The tutorial should be mandatory for all games though I suck at it too. Even having screenshots in the beginning of the game with text dialogs for each of the game components would help a lot I think.

Nice game overall, I have never been too good with tamagotchi games though.

Nicely done! Great that you added a tutorial, it helped a lot and got me going pretty fast! Though I didn't understand at first that you should keep the ball away from your creature to increase its happiness. I also loved the events that could occur by email. Added a nice dynamic of changing things up or just giving some context to why the owner wouldn't return :) I wish there was more to do also but its LD, time is very limited! Again, great job on making the game!

nice game

He is never happy!!!! :( I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/fsg5gDaiyQc

Good game

Nailed the theme! Naming the pet is a funny touch, had to dip into the tutorial to understand the toy mechanic, maybe the tutorial and the main game could be merged somehow. Nice job!
