Heyo Lawrence!

So, a little bit of feedback!

Feel free to ignore most of the things due to jam scope etc, but as always I'll give feedback considering you'll work on it after the jam.

Could've been better: - The lack of audio broke the immersion, a few sound effects during the game's interaction would be great - The ordering of movement isn't clear when fighting a bat, I don't know which one attacks first or if the bat can attack me or not - The first level with 3 crates has a lot of unnecessary walk that could've been shrunk. Keep your puzzles as minimal as possible, so the player doesn't get tired of moving. - The level where is necessary to deliver one guy at a time, could've been presented in a simpler way first, to avoid the frustration at the end of a lengthy puzzle. - The amount of levels is unknown, which would make the last level to actually be my last (if there were others). Since I didn't know how many levels left that one felt like a burden instead of excitement to be almost beating the game.

Good points: - Dungeon's atmosphere is present with the art style and post processing fx - The puzzle design is very straightforward and easy to learn - Nice animations - Nice amount of levels considering the time

That's it! Hope that helps, and if you happen to update this game, come back here in your comment section to remember me and drop me a tweet or something!

If you have time, please click on my profile and give me some constructive feedback on my game (:

See ya!

Hi @nyunesu , thanks for the detailed feedback! The game does have music and sound effects, maybe one of the builds is broken, I only tested on Windows. Are you playing on mac or linux?

Graphics were great, the alert sound on the bats was awesome. Puzzles were not too challenging, but not too easy either. Saving friends was just as satisfying as murdering bats with spikes.

I really liked this, well done!

Thanks for letting me know, I was playing the html5, somehow the audio didn't start when I played it. But already updated the ratings (it worked when I opened it again) (:

A really fun game that actually managed to get my brain smoking at times. I feel like Nyunesu pretty much summed it up, so I will just say great job!

This game reminds me of the win95 classics ! Very well done, heaps of fun. The death sound of your fellow dungeoneers is really giving me flashbacks like the food critic in the Ratatouille movie !

Nice puzzles... good progress and pacing. I liked it alot. Music got a bit repetitive, but otherwise awesome.

Finished and wonderful game! The graphics, music and voice are very cool. You're cool! Enjoyed a lot of your puzzles. Very cool!

oldblack 2020-04-21 11:22

Awesome game! Pacing and mechanic introduction was very well done. Art was great, though the background could've used some more detail. Music was a little repetitive, but didn't get annoying. Just really impressed with the levels and difficulty.

Great puzzle game with a nice variety of levels

kaeveris 2020-04-21 20:00

I like the artstyle, cool animations, great atmosphere of the game! I don't know how you created so many levels in such a short time, especially that the levels are interesting and clever!

lawrence 2020-04-21 21:21

Thanks @kaeveris, I'd say 25% of time went into creating levels and making sure they are balanced, so it's nice that it worked out!

Great game, I liked the idea. I wish there was more audio and art, but for 72 hours it was really well polished. Really nice work!
