Great result for 26 hours!

hyperbian-games 2019-04-30 16:58

Not bad, the difficulty curve is much more accessible than what we did with our shmup. I like the different sounds based on the firing type. Was a little basic, but not bad for 26 hours!

playball 2019-04-30 17:03

Very nice for the time! Big fan of the graphics!

64mega 2019-04-30 17:05

Good attempt for 26 hours!

killedbyapixel 2019-04-30 17:14

That's great! Why not just allow the player to hold down the shoot button? My finger got tired after a while of rapidly pressing it.

kpedatte 2019-04-30 22:10

Hey Great Game for 26h. I hope next time you would be able to dev the whole time. Music is great, graphismes too. Juste i don't get where is the theme x) Congrats

velvetlobster 2019-05-01 18:40

I like the music, the soundeffects are a bit too high perhaps for me, which makes me not want to shoot lol

pixscope 2019-05-01 21:20

I love it !

raphael-maia 2019-05-01 21:33

It's a really good game, the shots hitting shot thing is nice. SFX are cool and visuals too. But i don't see it as a good fit to the theme though. Good job in the overall!

marcus-gambit 2019-05-01 21:51

You did well in 26h  I like the graphics and love the music/sounds. A slightly faster ship and some bonuses would have been cool.

sergi-montaner 2019-05-01 21:52

The game is not very original but feels well rounded and quite polished for the amount of time you got. Congrats for it. I don't see the theme anywhere, but that was not mandatory anyways. Keep it up.

mabry 2019-05-01 21:59

Great job!

bunn1e5 2019-05-01 22:15

Pretty well polished . I don't really see the theme. I thought the fact that you could shoot the lasers to cancel them out, though my lasers were a bit too thin to make that practical.

schizoid2k 2019-05-02 01:57

I managed to get 7640! Nice shooter. Graphics and sounds are very polished.

kylazaur 2019-05-02 16:32

Good job for 26 hours, music was good, it's a shame the game could be easily cheesed by hanging to the sides but 26 hours is 26 hours so well done

cheesepencil 2019-05-02 22:35

I felt like I was in space

kivelocity 2019-05-03 01:51

It was good, the movement felt smooth, the buttons felt like the reacted to the cursor, and there is a good variety of enemies. It could have benefited from a higher amount of speed, as the gameplay I felt was a bit slow paced. I find it hard to link this to the theme of the jam, so it is not connected enough i feel in that area. It still fun to play either way, and right now I am just trying to give you ideas how to make this game even better. Keep it going!

oune 2019-05-04 11:13

Nice polished game. It is a little slow-paced for me but it clearly highlights how much work is left to do for my own shooter. Good job!

seriouslycrunchy 2019-05-04 13:34

Nice work for the time frame! Doesn't really fit with the theme but sound and graphics are really good. Nice one!

suchista 2019-05-04 16:14

Nice one, I like the art and music.

baby-dino-herd 2019-05-04 16:43

Really great progress for 26 hours! Really solid graphics and music. My favourite touch is probably the enemy healthbars. I liked that you could shoot enemy projectiles, too!

puppetmaster 2019-05-04 22:06

Well done, I miss a little the inclusion to the topic. Unfortunately, it gets boring very quickly, especially because the appearance pattern is not very different. However, it is a great implementation. Congratulations.

josefnpat 2019-05-05 00:35

For such a short time, this is actually rather comprehensive. Sound, music, graphics, mechanics, menu, polish. Not only is this polished, but the assets fit well together. While the subject is simple, it's a really great invaders clone!

Great job!

harusame 2019-05-06 11:55

Good result ;) Graphics sounds and music are pretty good :) There is a lack of feedback when we are hit/hit enemy.

And to bad there is no theme related stuff.

It's a nice game for 26h, good job !

This is a nice little space shooter game. I liked particularly liked the enemy spawn configurations. As others have said, a little bit feedback would be good.

Overall: Cool - reminds me of old arcade games but with more modern graphics.

Fun: It's pretty fun - you got the foundation of the gameplay right. I just wish there was more variety. Specifically, more different waves - they very quickly repeat themselves. Another option to increase variety would be pick-ups: health regen, or gun upgrades or something. (I also found it slightly offputting how the enemies sometimes "jumped" into position after flying into view.)

Innovation: The gameplay is standard but I think that's what you were going for.

Theme: It seems that there is no relevance to the theme?

Graphics: Good graphics! (_very_ minor complaint: it's too hard to see my own health bar)

Audio: Good shooting sound effects. No enemy death sound effects? I wish the music was much longer (what there is sounds good).

Humor: N/A?

Mood: Good. The graphics, the audio and the gameplay go well together.
